Chapter Seventy two

I Slept huddled up n his arms all night, I felt more than safe being there. This was the best feeling, sometimes he turn to give me a kiss or just a peck on the forehead. Making me feel more comfortable in his arms, I didn't want morning to come, I went to sleep in all day long just being in his arms but I know it wasn't possible.

I woke from the sunshine shimmering in my face through the window, I yawned and turn away from it to sleep more but suddenly I realize where I was and jerked up. 

Andrew was nowhere to be found and it was already 9:00 on the dot, why would I sleep this late. I stumbled out of the bed to the shower, I didn't spend much time in there to catch up.

when I got downstairs, I found Sunny and Andrew in the kitchen wearing Apron. I stare from one person to another until Sunny noticed my presence "Good Morning Mummy"  "morning" I answered walking in to see what both of them were preparing.

 "Look Mummy I'm making breakfast" she pointed at the baked cupcake and I nodded with a smile for some reason I was feeling very guilty for not waking on time to get Sunny ready for the day. "We made you". She chattered " umm me? I asked looking at the baked cake on the table, it was painted with red color and also design to have hair. "This is me? I raise my eyebrows at Andrew and he just shrugged " mean" I muttered. 

"And this is uncle Andrew". Sunny pointed to one with a mustache   " But you don't have any" I made a face at him. "I shave". " I don't believe you". "You don't have to but I'm more handsome" he touched his jaw and posed. I heard Sunny giggled.  

"Time for breakfast! She clapped her hands and carried the small tray to the dining table. " mum when I'm I going back to school" the question threw me off guard. But I turned to smile at her "soon, baby". I sat beside Andrew. " Any news from the school? He asked leaning close, I shook my head. 

"I want whoever let him in to be severely punished". Remembering that my daughter was exposed to that kind of danger brought a chill down my body. " it okay". He reached out for my hand. And we begin to eat. "Mummy, Sunny called. " hmmm I turned to watch her grab the cookie that was identified as me  "Are you going to eat me? She laugh and took a bite of it. " you're eating me! I faked a shocked face.

 "This isn't fair then" I pick up the one that was identified as Andrew and toss it into my mouth. "You are me? Andrew's weird face meant mine and I laughed, he grabbed Sunny face cookie and took a bit of it. 

" we're even" everyone burst into laughter. "I'm sad" she made a sad face  "Why Andrew asked. " Because you are me". "But that means that I love you". " you're weird uncle". I burst out laughing. 

"Mummy are you going to marry uncle Andrew" I nearly choke on my food. I stare from Sunny to Andrew who was waiting for my answer. "Do you want me to". She grin and nodded her head. " yes I want you to marry him" she clapped happily and watch me. "Let's eat first," I told her. We finished the rest of the food chatting about different kinds of stuff.

I wanted to tell her that I was going to get married to Andrew but I have to ask her a few things and know her answers, I turned severely to see Andrew staring at me.

Sunny went upstairs to play with a neighbor's child and I was now left alone with Andrew. "What? I ask. " nothing" he just shrugged but kept staring at me. "Are you wondering how I came into your life or how much you love and don't want to lose me, men think of that a lot". " hmmm I'm not thinking of that now".  "Then tell me what's on your mind.

 " I'm just staring at the woman who would go the extra mile to protect what is hers, I'm just wondering how strong you are all these years to keep up, you're a strong woman Becca and I admire that about you". "Is that the reason you love me"  he shook his head. "I love you for being you, I don't love you for being something or having a lot of quality, I love you for you for existing for being Becca" he reached in slowly and took my last lips in his, I felt unwavering heat inside of me wanting and demanding more. "I love you".he said taking my lips again before we heard a sound of shock we turned abruptly to see Sunny watching us. " oh my God! Sunny I cover my face with my palm.

 "Did you see me kissing your mum" Andrew laughs? "That disgusting" she made a face at us which made Andrew burst out laughing, I turn to stare weirdly at him.  "I just came to ask if I can go to Emma's house, she told me she has piano".  " Umm I turned to see Emma the neighbor's child come inside the sitting room with a pleading face, I don't want to let Sunny out of my sight know that I'm not with her and anything could happen, I wanted to say no but felt Andrew hand on mine. I turned to see his calm face telling me that I should let her go.  I sigh.

 "You can go".  " yay! They both jumped happily. "But... You have to be back in time or let me know if you're in trouble or need anything, don't go anywhere else if not for her house and....  " mummy! Sunny called.

 "What?  " it just the house next to this and not going away forever" I heard Andrew chuckled which made me frown at him. "Just be careful" I reached and kissed her before she happily went off. "Not funny" I glared at him. "I know, I know you're trying your best to keep her safe, you're the best mother" he pulled my cheeks playfully and smiled. "That reminds me, I told my family about our marriage". " what?
