Active Phone

Yuji sat waiting for his food.

Suddenly he realized that the big guys are escorts of the woman, 'Is she a star? Is she the reason why the restaurant was empty?' he talks to himself.

When his food arrived, his curiosity spiked and ask the middle-aged woman, "Uhmm, Ma'am is that girl famous?" he asked politely,

"I don't know young man, but she paid for the whole total sales of the day" the woman said before leaving.

'Woah, filthy rich I guess' he said before digging in to the hot ramen on his table.

Yuji was almost finished eating when the woman put the open sign back again, young high school students comes rushing in the store.

With only a few minutes the store was suddenly congested. Yuji hurriedly eat and paid for his meal.

He walks toward the counter, "How much do I owe you?" he asked, "Ohh, the young lady from before paid for your meal" the woman replied.

"Ohh is that so?" he was surprised, "Uhmm do you have any contact number of the lady so I can at least thank her?" he asked again.

"They did left their mobile number" she said giving him a calling card, "Sorry young man, I must go the restaurant is kinda busy" she said.

"Sure go ahead" he said putting the card in his pocket before leaving the place.

He rides home and after arriving he took out the card on his pocket, "MO?" those initials again,

Yuji typed the number on his phone and composed a message,

Thank you for paying for the meal and sorry for causing a ruckus earlier. I was the guy from the ramen restaurant. :)

He texted that,

'That's one out of my conscience' he said to himself then a notification pops out, a text from Loid.

From: Loid

'Dude don't forget about tomorrow :('

He was about to reply to Loid when another notification pops out, it was from the number he texted.

'How did you get this number?!'

He replied back,

'The lady from the restaurant gave me your number' he typed but when he was sending the message a red text appeared.

'You're mobile number was blocked from sending messages to this number' the text appeared at his screen.

"Well that's weird" he said then his phone rings,

Calling Loid.....

"Fuck this guy" he said answering the phone,

"Dude you left me on read" Loid nags,

"Calm down, I was about to reply, you dumbass" Yuji answered irritated,

"I just want to remind you about the event tomorrow" Loid said in an excited tone.

"Don't worry, I won't forget" he replied before hanging up.

He laid back down and then his phone lighted up, a text from Loid,

'Dude why'd yo hang up?'

Yuji just ignored it and put his phone on do not disturb.

'I didn't know you can block a phone number from messaging, I thought you can only stop receiving their message' he laid thinking quietly.

Eventually, Yuji fell asleep on his bed and when he woke up it was already 4 in the afternoon.

He stretched out his hands up, "That was a great sleep" he said going to the toilet.

After going out, he looked for his phone. When he turned off the do not disturb few text came from loid, 'This guy is like a pest' he said then one unfamiliar number is in his inbox.

He opened it,

'Dude it's me Mendel, can you keep what you saw earlier this morning a secret?'

He was confused about the message but he was more puzzled on how Mendel get his number.

'Sure? Dude'

He replied back, he thought of asking on how did he get his number but he just brushed it off thinking that Loid was the one who gave it to Mendel.

He looked at the poster and details of the event, he see that the event starts early in the morning which is not a problem for him but a problem for Loid.

"This dude won't wake up in time" he said thinking of a solution.

He grabbed his big pack bag, and prepare clothes, his essentials and some reading materials. He also brought the MISAMO merchandise and he remembered the cap that he picked up from before.

"This cap can keep me hidden tomorrow" he stated before locking his door and leaving his apartment.

He walks towards the direction of Loid's house, When he reached the house, Fred was the one who answered the door.

"What brings you here Yuji?" he asked, "Ohh Loid said he wanted me to sleepover" he lied laughing,

"You're not a good liar young man, you probably have some business with Sir Loid" Fred said,

"Hehe we have something to attend tomorrow" Yuji said honestly,

"Go ahead, Sir Loid is on his room" Fred said moving to the side to let Yuji in.

When Yuji opened the door to Loid's room, he was topless dancing to Dahlia, Yuji laughed loudly.

"Dude HAHAHAHAHAH, What the f-" he blurted out, Loid was surprised and he fell on the floor.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" Loid asked irritated.

"The event will be early, so we should at least save time by going together" he explained,

Loid had a naughty smile, "See, You are also excited to see them" he teased Yuji.

"Sure whatever floats your boat" Yuji answered bluntly before laying down on Loid's large bed.

Loid pulled his feet, "Dude sleep on the guest room, don't soil my bed".

"This guy is really irritating" he said standing up and walking towards the guest room.

After settling in, a young girl came in his room,

"Brother Yuji!!" A cute voice suddenly yells, Yuji knew instantly and when he turned around the girl suddenly jump.

Yuji carried him and lifted her up, "How's my beautiful Athena doing?" he asked,

"Still beauty and brains" Athena the small girl bragged, "Good to hear" Yuji's smile was pure.

"The cats are growing fine as well" the talkative Athena said, "Can I see them?" Yuji asked,

Athena nods and jump out of his arms and runs toward the other room.

Then his phone lighted up again it was from the number he texted this morning,

'Kindly delete this number'

That was the only text it contain.

'My phone was never this active' he suddenly realized.

He just left it on read and follows Athena to the cats room.
