1 Unexpected
Locke had just died after being shot in the head. He had accidentally stumbled into a massive gang war, the streets were littered with dead bodies and rotting flesh. Locke tried his luck and tried to run straight through the middle of the battle. Unfortunately, the cops mistook him as one of the gang members and shot him to death.
Locke had soon woke up in a white void and began criticizing his actions. He didn't care much that he died, but he hated the execution. " I should've gone through the alleyway! I would've lived and seen a better death if I hadn't run through the middle." As he finished hating himself, he realized he was in a place he didn't recognize. The room was boundless and did not end, the floor in which he was stepping on was abnormal as well. It made no noises or vibrations even if he slammed his foot into it with all his might. As he began to analyze where he was, a figure of an old man appeared in his sight. The old man called out and said, "Come here child, I'd like to tell you something important." Locke already figuring out he was in someplace supernatural complied towards the old man.
" Child, I wish for you to entertain me." The old man said flat out. Locke replied in confusion, " What do you mean by entertaining you?" The old man rubbed his long beard and said, "I picked you on a whim, you will be transmigrated into another world where you will be faced with many challenges. Do not worry too much, I will give some help so that you won't die immediately."
I looked at this opportunity with excitement and contemplation. My mind which had rarely been amused by anything would finally see its desires be met. I then shakily spoke as I was trying to hide my excitement, " What will I be given on my journey to this world?" The old man who looked wise and all-knowing grinned and spoke, " You will receive an ability to evolve as you breakthrough levels, you will also receive a system that will allow you to see your level. I will also increase your exp gain by 3 times. You can choose from a list of species that you want to be. Keep in mind that your journey might not begin easy, so don't underestimate anyone." I nodded at the old man as I too began to rub my nonexistent beard, " Thank you very much, old man. I assume you're some god-like being so I'll just go with what you have. Can I pick what race I will be now?" The old man chuckled and nodded to Locke, His eyes flashed as he knew this young lad was a good choice.

As Locke looked at the options he had, he easily put everything below C class out of the question. In the end, he decided to go with being a red dragon as it was the strongest in C class. The king mosquito was out the question as he did not want to be an insect with little intelligence except for insane speeds and powerful abilities.
The old man who saw Locke finish smiled as he also wanted excitement just like Locke. " You have chosen well, I will now bid you farewell". As he said this Loce was immediately transported to an unknown forest. He was in for many challenges as soon as he got there, the old man grinned and grabbed some popcorn waiting for the show.
