Meanwhile, the cold air started to pierce her bones, and the silence was getting tenser.

Unexpectedly, several men walked towards Calista. Those men looked like delinquents that gave her goosebumps.

One thing that made her shiver with fear was the smell of alcohol that immediately stung when one of them spoke.

"Where are you going, sweetie? It's better if you join me."

"Well, we're having fun, sweetie," the other man chirped and bravely ran his hand over her shoulder.

"Dammit!" Calista snapped with blazing eyes. Her blood was boiled so that she immediately slapped the man's left cheek.

Not accepting her treatment, the man slapped her very hard, making her stagger. Luckily, another man caught her body, so she didn't fall to the floor.

"Wowww caucasian, so white." Sad the man who caught Calista's body.

"Let's use her. I can't wait to taste hers."

"Me too. This is the first time I play with a foreigner. Let's take her to a darker place."

The ferocious gazes of these delinquent men made Calista's body shiver in fear. It was such a disgusting thing that had never crossed her mind. Her heart kept screaming for help.

'Calvino, please, help me, please,' Callista screamed in her heart.

Even though her body was shaking violently because of the fear, she still rebelled. However, compared to the seven sturdy men, it was clear that her rebellion was nothing.

Calista's body was immediately dragged into the alley with minimal lighting.

"Don't rebel, sweetheart. Just enjoy it," said one of them while boldly touching Calista's smooth skin.

Calista couldn't scream for help because her mouth was gagged with a cloth while her hands were tied behind her back.

"Come on, sweetie, stop fighting and be an obedient girl," said another man while stroking her smooth cheeks.

Unable to stand the luscious lips that seemed to invite to be tasted, one of them violently pulled the gagging cloth.

"Ouch, it hurts, sweetie?" Said one of the men while gently caressing Calista's luscious lips.

Calista felt disgusted, so she immediately spat on the man. Her attitude was getting more and more emotional until she got slapped repeatedly. Both of her cheeks turned blue because of those strong hands.

"Shut up fucking bitch! Playing hard to get!" Again, a slap hit Calista's cheek and then he kicked her stomach until her frail body fell to the floor.

Her clothes were forcibly pulled. Her body was dragged further and further into the alley until the clothes attached to her body were no longer in shape.

Calista, who still had remaining energy, immediately kicked the man's genitals and ran as fast as she could to seek help.

Accidentally, she hit a passing car until she passed out unconscious.

When the car owner was about to get out of the car to help her, he saw seven men approaching his car.

The seven men immediately took Calista away from there. However, after a few steps, someone got out of the car and stopped them.

The man was Leonard Fidel Christiano. Without the slightest fear, he approached the seven sturdy men.

"Give the woman and in exchange, you can ask for anything you want."

"Wow, that's a very good offer. But, for this good luxury diamond, your offer is not worthy. We don't need anything. Getaway!"

"Give me that woman or… I'll destroy you all!"

"Heyy, who are you? How dare you interfere with us. We get this woman first, then we will also enjoy it first. You can also taste her after us."

"Fucking jerk! If you dare touch my lover's skin even a little, then all of your lives in exchange."

"Wow, what a liar. You said that this woman is your girlfriend? How come a beautiful Caucasian woman wants to date a native like us?" Said one of the men with laughter.

"How dare you!" Leonard snapped.

His voice boomed like a hungry lion. His patience that he had been trying to hold in for so long finally eroded so that he immediately attacked them relentlessly.

Even though he was alone, he was able to paralyze them all.

The other six men had run away, leaving one man challenging Leonard by brandishing a knife. Even though Leonard didn't carry any weapons, he was able to knock out the man quickly.

After feeling safe, he immediately ran into the car to get eucalyptus oil and then rushed over to Calista's body which was lying on the floor, unconscious.

"Calista ... Calista ...," Leonard called as he rubbed the oil on her nose.

Not long after, Calista's consciousness recovered.

Due to lack of lighting, she couldn't see clearly, and directly pushed Leonard's chest hard because she was still in deep fear. She then ran as fast as she could to save herself.

"Calista, wait!" A familiar baritone voice stopped her footsteps, so she slowly turned her body.

"Leo..." Calista called with quivering lips. Not only did her lips but also her body tremble. Fortunately, Leonard rushed to help her.

Leonard's heart felt like it had been stabbed by a thousand knives to find Calista's clothes were out of shape. He immediately took off his jacket then put it on her body. After that, he led her into the car.

Calista's tears burst in Leonard's arms until her frail back shook. Leonard tightened the hug even more.

"You're safe, honey," Leonard whispered while rubbing the top of her head, occasionally kissing her affectionately.

Calista got out of the hug then looked at the handsome face that had tormented her mind for the past four days.

Leonard's eyes were no longer glaring warmly. There was anger mixed with remorse. He was so sorry that he cursed himself for letting the woman he admired be in danger.

Who knew what would have happened if he had not arrived on time.

"Relax honey, you're safe now," He then kissed the top of her head repeatedly and made her sink even more into his arms.

Calista inhaled a very masculine perfume that she always missed. The one who tormented her for days tormented her in deep longing.

Leonard's fingers reached for her chin so that their gazes met. The black crystal eyes stared at her for a long time and he smoothed a few strands of hair that fell to her cheeks.

"Is your car still under repair?"

Calista nodded.

"Then, why didn't you call me to pick you up? Why did you put yourself in danger?"

"I thought..." Calista seemed hesitant to continue her sentence.

"What? Just tell me, honey."

"I thought you were still… angry."

Leonard immediately gave a warm smile and then cupped Calista's cheeks affectionately.

"I'm still angry but I can't just ignore you. If something bad happens to you then I'll never forgive myself. And what have you been doing until you got home at this hour, hum?"

"And you? What are you doing here?"

"I asked you, Calista, why are you asking me back?" Leonard growled while rubbing Calista's cheek.

"Thanks for saving m,e Leo. If you didn't come on time..." Calista's voice quivered with sobs.

"Never mind, honey. Just forget it. You're safe now. No need to thank me. You are my girlfriend so it's my duty to always protect you."

Leonard then held Calista's hands, squeezing them gently.

"Please forgive me, sweetie, for dragging you in danger."

"Apologising for what? It's not your fault at all."

The grey-eyed woman locked Leonard's eyes which still showed a deep sense of regret.
