Debt paid off

When she arrived at the office, Alexa got out of the car and walked into the company building followed by Robi. This surprised her and stopped then turned to look at the man who was following her.

"Hey, did Melvin also ask you to take me to my room?" she asked, frowning.

"It's not like that ... I want to take you and at the same time want to meet Mrs. Siska," answered Robi with a smile.

"Huh."

Alexa took a deep breath then turned back to walk down the corridor to the elevator and of course, Robi followed her.

"Good morning, Alexa," said Lisa when she saw Alexa pass through her room which was lined up neatly with other employees bordered by 150 cm high partitions.

"Hi, have a nice day," said Alexa with a smile, slightly slowing her pace for a moment.

Lisa waved her hand at Alexa until Alexa walked over to her while Robi continued walking towards the elevator.

"What is it?" asked Alexa.

"Who is he?" Lisa asked while glancing at Robi who was waiting for Alexa in front of the elevator.

"He's Melvin's assistant," Alexa replied casually.

"Looks like you don't need to work here anymore and will already have everything. your boyfriend is rich and now you just work here while being escorted by his assistant," said Lisa with a seductive smile.

"That's impossible. I will still work here to pay off my debts," said Alexa. "Now I have to get to my room quickly because I have so much to do before Mrs. Siska gets mad at me."

Lisa smirked. "You just need to marry Mr. Melvin. Then your suffering because of Mrs. Siska will end soon."

"That's very unlikely. we're just dating," Alexa said then continued walking towards the elevator with her heart saying, 'and this relationship is both fun and weird ... confusing too.'

Alexa and Robi entered the elevator and immediately pressed the button to the floor where his room was. While in there, occasionally they glanced at each other but Alexa was curt because she didn't like it when Melvin made her look like a princess who had to be escorted everywhere.

"Are you here because of Melvin?" asked Alexa.

"Yes ... there is work," replied Robi with a warm smile.

Alexa nodded in understanding until then immediately left because the elevator was open. she walked leisurely until she finally met Bastian who had just left Siska's room. the girl chose to turn her face away rather than being stared at by her boss' husband because she didn't like his attitude which had made her best friend an affair.

"Alexa," said Bastian.

Alexa, who was about to enter her room, turned to look at Bastian awkwardly. ."Yes, you called me?"

"Are you comfortable living there?" Bastian asked with a warm smile.

Alexa was silent, glanced around which was still quiet, and then looked back at Bastian. "Very comfortable. Thank you for being so kind to me..however, it's best not to talk about this because I'm afraid someone will find out."

"You calm down," Bastian exclaimed with a seductive smile, then continued walking towards the elevator specifically for the boss.

"For some reason, I feel he is not a good man for Gea," Alexa muttered as she looked at Bastian who slowly walked away. she immediately entered her room and started her activities.

"So, Mr. Melvin wants to pay off all of Alexa's debts here?" Siska asked with a frown.

"Yes. He wants everything to be counted and he will pay off in full. So, you don't have to be mean to Alexa anymore," Robi replied casually.

"In that case, okay." Siska nodded resignedly but she felt annoyed because it turned out that Melvin knew her attitude to Alexa all this time. it could just make her position uncomfortable again. 'I will not remain silent. I'm going to find a new investor and I'd rather kick her out of here than see her always attracting the attention of my clients,' she thought furiously.

Siska turned to look at the door. "come in."

open door. Alexa entered the room carrying a document. Her gaze looked different at Siska who smiled at her, of course, it made her wonder. What wind made that fierce boss want to smile at her?

"Ah, yes. You happen to be here, Alexa..there is good news for you," said Siska with a fake smile.

"Mrs. Siska. I don't think she needs to know," said Robi hastily.

"What good news?" Alexa asked, frowning.

"Mr. Robi...Alexa must know so that she doesn't continue to feel burdened," said Siska seriously looking at Robi and then turning to Alexa. "This is news that all your debts have been paid off by Mr. Melvin."

"What? All my debts paid off?" Alexa looked surprised. 'This morning I received an expensive laptop, and now all my debts which amount to tens of millions are paid off ... Crazy!'

"You should be happy, Alexa. Finally what has been your burden all this time has disappeared. I think this is your luck for being the girlfriend of a rich businessman like Mr. Melvin," said Siska with a smile as if she was happy even though she felt very jealous.

"This is all purely because of Mr. Melvin's wish. I hope you are not angry because he wants to lighten your burden," said Robi when he saw the confusion and displeasure on Alexa's face.

"Yes ... I'll call him later," Alexa said then returned to her main goal.

"Mrs. Siska. We will have a meeting in about 15 minutes. this is the file that I have prepared," she said as she put the document on the table.

"Then I also have to go because there is another job waiting for me," said Robi and then got up from the chair. He immediately greeted Alexa and Siska then immediately left the room.

After Robi walked away, Siska looked at Alexa with a cynical smile, patted her hand, making Alexa feel surprised in silence and her brows furrowed.

"Wow ... in two days. Everything changed drastically. It's amazing. What did you do to bring my client to his knees, Alexa?" Siska asked but seemed to be sarcastic.

"I didn't do anything," Alexa replied curtly.

"Now everything has been paid off. If you want to immediately resign from here, no problem Maybe you will forget the mainland after this, and forget that even though I am like this, I am the one who always lends you money for your mother's medical expenses," said Siska sounding disappointed and didn't seem to want to be left behind even though it seemed like she was driving away.

"I will not resign..you don't have to worry," Alexa said casually. "I'm not going to use my relationship status with Melvin to bring you down either. I will remain professional as a token of gratitude for what you have done for me," she continued firmly.

"It's good that you know yourself...Now please come out," said Siska casually.

Alexa immediately left the room lost in thought, feeling very uncomfortable because she used Melvin's money too much and she thought it seemed like Siska or anyone else would accuse her of doing something indecent until Melvin gave her a lot of money. 'What's next after this? I why he's so nice,' she thought as she walked back to her room.
