Gu Yao came back with a cute red and white doughnut and a milk tea.

He dropped it in front of Mei Wen then went back to take his own .

He ordered a glazed doughnut and a cup of black coffee.

They both stayed by the window side and the setting sun seemed to cast a warm and relaxed atmosphere around them, making it feel so ethereal .

Gu Yao's gaze was fixed on Mei Wen, who was delightfully savoring her out-of-the-world doughnut. The warm ambiance of the shop seemed to glow around him, emphasizing the dreamy atmosphere.

He leaned back comfortably in his chair, the casual shirt he wore adding a touch of sophistication to the relaxed setting. Gu Yao's eyes sparkled with genuine affection as he watched Mei Wen enjoy the sweet treat.

A faint smile played on his lips, and occasionally, he'd reach over to swipe a stray crumb from the corner of Mei Wen's mouth, his touch gentle yet possessive. The air around them was charged with a subtle energy.

Suddenly a foreign blonde brunette walked over to disrupt the cozy atmosphere .

The foreign brunette, with an air of confidence, approached Gu Yao and Mei Wen's table. Her stylish attire and bold demeanor captured the attention of everyone in the doughnut store.

"Hey there, handsome," she greeted Gu Yao with a flirtatious smile, seemingly oblivious to Mei Wen's presence.

"Mind if I join you? It looks like you could use some company."

Gu Yao, maintaining his composure, raised an eyebrow but remained polite.

"I'm here with my wife. We're enjoying a quiet moment. Please don't interrupt us."

The foreign woman glanced at Mei Wen, and a sly grin appeared on her face.

"Oh, you're married? Lucky guy. But hey, sometimes a bit of spice is necessary, right?"

Everyone looked disapprovingly at the woman who came to disrupt the cozy atmosphere that Mei Wen and Gu Yao had brought.

Yes! He was handsome but he was married, it's was already alright that she thought that he was single,if you ignore the gazes of love that Gu Yao gave to Mei Wen,but it's shameless to still pester him when he said he's married.

The brunette oblivious to all the disainful gazes that people were throwing her side kept looking at Gu Yao with a flirtatious look.

Maybe she thought she could compete with beauty before Mei Wen .

Gu Yao looked at her with the disgust in his eyes growing more obvious.

" I'm princess Adriana of country X by the way . what's your name".

Everyone became shocked ,was she a princess ,if so it was no wonder she didn't care about the outcome of what ever she did .

Gu Yao shot her a look, a gaze of interest flashed by his eyes so quickly that only Mei Wen noticed it.

Mei Wen looked at Gu Yao worriedly ,if she was actually a princess ,it will be a troublesome problem to solve .

Gu Yao suddenly took out his phone and told Mei Wen to wait for him.

" Wait for me , I'm going to make a call,hmm"

Gu Yao bent over to kiss her forehead and he rubbed his head against hers. Mei Wen was shocked and her face turned red immediately,

He laughed gently as he admired her beauty for a while,he then faced Adriana and shot her a cold look and walked away.

Adriana felt her heart stopped for a while,she clenched her hands in anger as she looked at Gu Yao who was walking away.

" I must get this man for my self,then I won't have to marry that crippled man "

She then looked at Mei Wen who was on her phone.

" Sigh ,such a good husband,a shame , he'll be mine soon ,I can help you find a man now so that you won't be so lonely when we get together."

Mei Wen looked up at her and scoffed," you're so confident,do you think that you're that fine looking"

Adriana held her head high as she looked at Mei Wen from the corner of her eyes.

" Of course, I'm the most beautiful woman alive,no one can compare to me, no man has ever resisted my beauty before...well except for Gu Yao but he'll soon come crawling,they all do"

Mei Wen was utterly shocked at the woman's confidence in her beauty. She was truly the definition of_*As proud as a peacock*

Even the people who were watching the drama were disgusted by her prideful face .
