Xian Yin smile faltered a bit but her face immediately went back to normal.
The other lady beside Xian Yin then sneered , looking at Mei Wen with a disgusted look.
" Brother Yao,is this the girl that you're bringing tomorrow, she's not even as half as good as sister Yin..."
She suddenly shuddered as Gu Yao looked at her with a cold look ,his eyes felt like it was she was being dragged down into the fiery pit of Hell.
" Miss Gu Yan I don't remember you being the one to pick who I'll marry ,even grandma doesn't have that right talk less about you"
Gu Yao's eyes were filled with arrogance and disgust when he looked at Gu Yan and Xian Yin.
Xian Yin, realising that the situation wasn't good came in the middle to act as the mediator between the two of them. She then looked at Gu Yao with shyness as she started to speak with her delicate and meek voice.
"Ah Yao..."
"Miss Yin , please don't call me that , you and I are not that close "
She then froze up before returning to back to her fake self.
" Yan Yan was just worried about you,she didn't want you to just marry someone that you don't know that much ,who knows you might marry someone who just wants your rights but not your love " .
Her voice was becoming more meeker with every word she spoke.
She then pretended to be flustered as she looked at Mei Wen with fear in her eyes, "I'm not saying that you are one of those people , I just want ah Ya... Mr Gu's happiness, that's why I talked with out thinking of my words , I'm sorry if I offended you in any way."
Mei Wen looked at her indifferently and acted like Xian Yin didn't exist.
Who didn't know what she was trying to say in between all those despicable words she uttered .
Mei Wen knew that she was trying to cause her to lose control of herself and prove that she was right but luckily she met Mei Wen so she can't be that lucky.
She glanced over at Xian Yin and then turned her attention somewhere else .
Gu Yan then flared up as she looked up at Gu Yao then the woman that was beside him .
" Brother Yao control your wife ,she just met sister Yin but she's already bullying her ,what of when she enters the family,we might not have a day of rest ,I don't approve of her , moreover even though you don't marry sister Xian , what of that your childhood love that disappeared ..."
Xian Yin eyes shined at the mention of this ,she looked up at Gu Yao who was looking at Mei Wen,she squeezed her fists in an attempt to calm herself down .
" Actually Mr Gu ,I have something else to say to you ,but now is not the appropriate time ,so I'll tell you later, I'm sorry if we disturbed you ,". She looked at Gu Yan who was still complaining and dragged her away from their sights.
Ha! Finally.
Some peace and quiet, Mei Wen looked up to ask Gu Yao about where to look for his sister's gift when he said an absurd but cute statement .
" I don't have anything to do with that Xian Yin,trust me okay"
Mei Wen"..."
" Silly , who said I didn't believe you ,a scheming girl like her isn't your type,they just ruined my mood , that's all."
Gu Yao sighed in relief ,he thought that Mei Wen was angry when she wasn't as cheerful as she was when they both came here .
Some minutes later....
Mei Wen and Gu Yao entered a traditional store and looked around.
Mei Wen attention was on the accessories , since Gu Yao said that she liked dressing up in traditional clothing ,she felt like she could buy some accessories for her.
Mei Wen suddenly felt pressed and told Gu Yao that she was going to the toilet.
" What's wrong ,is your tummy upset ,do you need me to follow you ..."
Mei Wen's heart felt warm as she could feel the genuine concern he had for her .
" No worries , I'm just pressed , you can stay here and continue to look for some things you think are fine and place them down from me to choose from.
Mei Wen then went ahead to find the nearest toilet.
She quickly rushed in when she spotted one and released herself.
As Mei Wen was washing her hands she heard a sneer coming from behind her .
"Well if it isn't Mei Wen ,funny how I always meet you ."
Mei Wen looked up in annoyance when she heard the hypocritical voice of Lu Lao .
She didn't answer her at all for fear of becoming as dumb as her.
Lu Lao smirked when she saw that Mei Wen didn't answer her. She thought she was sad about the last time.
" Mei Wen, although I took Yi Chen away from you ,I have someone who'll like your type ,it's president Han".
Mei Wen sneered as she looked up and down at Lu Lao.
Who in the business world didn't know that Mr Han was lewd ,old man who had almost seen all his female staffs under garments , Wow! Lu Lao was a really good friend. Trying to push her to her doom ,did she think that she was dumb or what.
She gazed at Lu Lao coldy before passing by her side and going out.
Lu Lao voice rang out behind .
" Mei Wen, you'll regret this ,how dare you ignore me".

" This ... It looks really pretty , we'll take this one " .
Mei Wen's eyes shone brightly as she looked at the green jade that emitted a beautiful rainbow dash when the lights hits it .
Gu Yao who was looking at Mei Wen with a fawning gaze , nodded at her and told the people there to pack it up .
While they were waiting, Mei Wen was looking around at some other gems and accessories that she wanted to keep for self and buy for Liang Jing.
'she also liked stuffs like this right, I'll buy a bracelet for her ' she said to herself as she looked around the store.
