In the werewolves village

It was a lively day. Everyone is doing their daily life routine. Food is everywhere. We can eat anytime we want. It was a village full of joy, peace, abundance and blessing. Why can I say that? We'll as far as I observe here, almost everyone enjoys what their doing. No problem with food, and violence has no place in here. Although there are some trouble occurs within the villagers, but my father fixed it right away.

We don't have problems building our homes, because we just occupy in the tress. With that, we can still maintain the nature. And I know that you will not believe that it's wide inside the trees. Like our home, we have 2 rooms, 1 cr, 1 dinning, 1 living room and 1 kitchen. Imagine that? You can't really judge a book by it's cover.

Anyway, I would like to introduce myself first before going through. I am Enasha. I belong to werewolves community. Yes! I am a werewolf. But do not worry, we are good werewolves, we do not hurt people. We only eat food that are found in our village. Our village is known as Kalbian. It is located at the largest forest in the world known as Almanzon. Humans are afraid to this forest that is why we are safe from their harm. Us werewolves transform into human form during daytime. That is why we can sneak out to the city where human live. Werewolves blended with human peacefully and we make sure not to cause any commotion while roaming around. And before the sunset, we need to hurry back home before transforming back into werewolves. That was my mom told me.

As for me, I still don't know what the City of human looks like since I'm only 17 years old. In our village tradition, we are allowed to go to the city when we turned 18 years old. Both male and female. So I still need to wait 1 year to go there.

"Enasha! I'm home"

Oh here comes my mom. Her name is Agatha. She is a very good cook. Aside from being the wife of a village master, all the villagers respect my mom for her skill in cooking and sewing technique. Every Saturday and Sunday she teaches some of the villagers moms her cooking and sewing skills. She also teaches me some other time. Although she struggle teaching me, she patiently taught me. She really loves me, and so do I.

"Where is your father?"

"He went out to get some firewood mom."

"Did you eat already, or you just wake up?"

"Mom, you already know the answer right?"

"Well yeah. By just looking at your face I can say that you just wake up."

"See! No need for you to ask mom. Hahaha"

"I'm home!"

Here comes my dad. He is the village master. His name is Vristan. He trains some of the villagers man to master fighting skill in their human forms since wolves are strong enough in their werewolves form. Even though our village is peaceful for a long time, we still need to be prepare in case something happens. We don't know what the future awaits us. So it's better to be prepared at all times. But although my dad looks like a tough and serious man, he is not cold and heartless when he is not on duty. Just like other dad's, he loves to joke around and tell some funny stories. That is why villagers love him as a village master. He helps other villagers in need and respond quickly to each and everyone's problem. Yes, he has less time spend with us but he always find ways to bond with me and mom and we make it all worth it. That is why I love my dad so much.

"Your already home too hon?"

"Yes hon, I finished our lesson early and just gave homework to other moms so that we can prepare early for the gathering."

"Mom can I help?"

"Yes of course. Your becoming a lady soon, it's time for you to know the preparation for this tradition."

"Yeheey! I'm so excited for that moment. I really want to see the City."

"Look at this young lady, you'll be 18 next year."

"Yes dad! I can't wait that moment anymore."

"Anyway Enasha, How is your lesson with your mom?"

"I'm fast learner dad! I already master one of moms special recipe."

"Wow! That's great! Tell me when you'll going to cook and I'll be one of the judges."

"Sure dad! I love that!

Before I forget what the gathering is all about, it is the day when all villagers that turns 18 years old will get blessed through ritual. The village old ritual master also called "Nano" will lead the ritual. This is also done to protect those turning 18 years old villagers when they go to the City where human lives. And after the ritual, my father will orient them on how, when, where, what to do and rules when they go to the city. Going to City is the most awaited moment of every werewolves. That's all I know for now. Once I turned 18, I will know everything about the it.

While we are in the middle of our meal, someone knocks on the door none stop. Dad stand up from his sit and I quitelly followed him. Dad open the door and we saw two of his men standing infront of the door.

"Master Vristan! Sorry for the disturbance. We have something to show you."

"What it is?"

"We saw this on the forest."

It was a shiny stone crystal. Its sparkling light looks like a bright star in the sky. My father get the stone from his mens hand and check it slowly .

"It's beautiful."

"Do you think it is dangerous master."

"We'll see. Where did you pick it, in what part of the forest?"

"It was in the north part near the large body of running water."

"Did you search if there is something unusual in that area? Or did you see similar of this kind?"

"Nothing unusual master. And we didn't search thoroughly the entire area yet since we retreat after picking this up to report to you."

"Hmm, ok. we will assign some of our men to search that area the day after the gathering. For now let's focus on the coming ritual gathering."

"Yes master! We'll be leaving now."

"Alright."

The men bowed to my father and leave after.

Looking at the stone, it was really one of a kind. It was my first time seeing this kind of sparkling stone. My dad's eyes also stick on the stone. observing it thoroughly.

"Dad, it's beautiful right?"

"Yes it is. But it may be harmful. We need to bring this to Yateko for us to know."

Yateko is the village researcher. Of course we also have equipment for research since us werewolves can go to the City. Yateko has a curios mind, so when he went to the city he took up a course for researchers. After he graduate, he work hard to buy those equipments he is using now for research. Sometimes his work turned to mess and explosion. But there are also successful research that he do.

"Dad! do we need to let him touch this beautiful object?"

"Well it is the only way."

"Gosh! just gave it to me dad."

"That's not allowed Enasha, you know our village right?"

"Fine, but please tell Yateko to take good care of it. It will turn to waste if it explode.

"Yes I will."

"Hon! I'll go to Yateko, please take good care of the house."

"Yes honey. Please take care."

"Stop it already mom and dad." Your sweetness creep me out."

"Hahaha, you know us honey."

"I'll head out now, bye beautiful ladies."

"Bye dad."

Mom and I start preparing for the food ingredients that will be serving for the gathering. Mom check everything one by one. When we packed everything that we need, I go to my room to change and get ready.

"Are you done Enasha? Other moms might be in there already. We need to head out now."

"Yes mom, I'm coming."

"Oh! The dress looks good on you."

"It is? Thank you mom. By the way, is this all we need to bring?"

"Yes dear."

"Oh my, I think my dress and look will get wasted."

"Let's go now."

Mom and I put everything in the cart. Of course we can't bring everything with our hands. Well, thanks to our village researcher for inventing this cart. Bringing lots of load becomes easier. After loading the cart, mom and I started pushing the cart. It's quite heavy but it's bearable since mom is pushing it too.

"Lady Agatha, lady Enasha, were you heading to the Werehouls Standrium."

It was Cancello approaching. One of my dad's young men. He is about my age. In our village, when male werewolves turn 12 years old, they need to start training. Their training is not that hard in the beginning. That is why no village men are against to it. My dad makes sure that training for the beginners are safe. Anyways, Cancello is trying to win my heart by approaching my parents. Sometimes, he joined my dad patrolling at night. Gave gift to mom, and helping her carry what mom brings. And sometimes he run an errands for our family. He is quite handsome, tall and kind. But for now, I don't feel something for him. Maybe in the future. That is why I am letting him do what he want to win my heart. In other words I'm trying to like him back. By the way, Werehouls Standrium is the place where all werewolves gathered. In other word, all gatherings are done there.

"Oh Cancello, yes we are heading there."

"I'm heading there too, let me push the cart."

"Oh my, what a kind gesture. thank you Cancello."

"No worries Lady Agatha, it's my pleasure to help. You can head to Standrium first."

"Will you be fine? Are sure you can push it alone."

"I'll be fine, I'm trained men of our village. No need to worry lady Agatha."

"Well then, we will keep going Cancello."

"Yes please. Goodbye lady Agatha, goodbye Enasha, see you later."

Mom and I said our goodbye to Cancello and start walking towards the direction of Standrium. The weather is good. Sunny but not to hot since our village is sorounded and covered with trees. As we walk by, villagers are busy preparing for the gathering, specially those family that has 18 years old member. I was a little bit jealous because they are free to go out. But of course my time for it will come. I will turn 18 soon. And can freely room the City.
