Aizawa POV

I was just on the other side of the thin wall, standing on the steps that went up onto the stage when I overheard Deku and Dynamight. Who am I kidding? Even though they are boys and my students, they are also my girls. They melt my heart anytime I let my guard down and I can't help it. I step away from the stairs to look around the small wall and see my class surrounding the room, all of them silently keeping an eye on them so they can have a small moment.

It's only a second when I see some agency big wigs getting pissy and start stomping towards my girls. I make a motion and a couple of my students block them and direct them to basically get lost. When I look back at my girls I see they have already pulled apart and were just leaning their foreheads against each other. I heard them mumble something before Dynamight looked up and nodded at someone, probably Kirishima, and the room got a lot louder.

"Girls, I want you on stage with your dad," I grinned at the slightly surprised look on their faces but then they were grinning as if it were an inside joke and I guess to a point it is. Sure the rest of the class know and so does All Might but while they were girls, they were mine. My precious girls and the beginning of us all. We are a team but we are also a family. I don't give two shits about who wants to argue.

"Sure thing Uncle," Dynamight smirked at me while Deku giggled and they both made their way up the stairs I was on just a few moments ago. I showed them where I wanted them to stand and I told them one last time where All Might was coming in and how I didn't want them to move at all until All Might either made them or until he made the announcement.

Part of me kind of resents the fact that All Might has dragged me into this little surprise of his but you know what? Fuck it. My girls deserve to be happy and happy I will make them.

It wasn't long before all the seats were filled and the lights were set. I left the stage to find All Might and Mrs. Yagi standing together.

"They don't know but they are where they are supposed to be. Just don't scare my girls too badly." I groaned before giving All Might a warning look, I saw Mrs. Yagi's confusion until she seemed to remember that they were undercover as my nieces for a while. I only say that because her confused look was quickly replaced with a soft smile.

"No worries, my sons deserve the best." The way he left his hand squeezing my shoulder should have probably been intimidating but instead I just smiled back at the now much taller man.

"Good, now that we understand each other. Let's work together, for them." I leveled my eyes with him and saw him give a large smile and he started laughing loudly, making me frown. I could really do without that but whatever.

The lights dimmed and I made my way back behind the reporters so that I could watch more easily. I did a quick count of my students and found everyone in their places and I refocused on the area when All Might walked out with his wife.

There were far too many questions if you ask me but things were progressing smoothly until All Might put a hand on each boys shoulders and gently pulled them back and they stepped back and for the first time they could see the silent Mrs. Yagi was on the stage with them and they looked back at All Might, confused.

"And not only am I returning from retirement I am taking on two interns and who better to take on than my son and son-in-law?" There was a brief moment of silence before the reporters couldn't restrain themselves anymore and several of them jumped up demanding answers to questions that they couldn't put words to.

Stuttering only just barely started to describe it as they all yelled, trying to be heard over each other before they could put their own questions together properly. It was exciting when they found out he was coming out of retirement but this? Finding out he was not only married but had children too? It is a madhouse.

It took far too long to regain control of the press but the team worked together and were able to keep them in their designated seating area. One did manage to escape but Shoto put up a wall of ice blocking the stage and the man was escorted out of the press conference, much to his fury. It wasn't until Todoroki had melted the ice and Dynamight, had discreetly gathered the water to a small area, that the reporters were silent again. All Might asked if there were any other important questions before they ended the session and several were called on this time asking more personal questions like; How long had he been married? Why has he kept his family a secret? and so on.

"My personal life is really NOT the public's right to know, any more than it is my right to know if any of you are married or have children. Now if there are not any more appropriate questions then I will take my family and get to work. As you all know, I have a bit of catching up to do, from paperwork to new routes to familiarize myself with." When there were not any other interruptions he smiled thanked them all for their time and gently squeezed both Deku's and Dynamight's shoulders before he put an arm around Mrs. Yagi's shoulders and they made their way, smiling, off stage.

It took forever to get rid of the reporters and they kept trying to get answers from the more seasoned heroes present and only a few of my students who when they responded were polite but didn't actually give any real answers. I couldn't help the grin on my face as we finally closed the doors.

"You all did very well for your first press conference," I grinned at them all only to see some of them giggling and others just smiling, but all of them were proud and happy with my praise. Good, they deserve every word and then some. I know I don't always say everything that I should, but from the way they all act I can only guess that they understand and that I at least say the most important things. The things that matter the most, to them anyway.

I try to shake the thought from my head but who am I kidding? They are all my kids and God forgive anyone that hurts them because I for one will not. No matter how close to death I bring them.

"Pizza tonight? It's not often none of us have a shift," I asked with a smile and they cheered as I went about ordering food. My husband was unfortunately working tonight and my kids were with Recovery Girl, I'll just pick them up and we can all have dinner together. I sent it in the class chat and told my girls to bring All Might and their mother to the dorms for dinner and I couldn't help grinning at their responses.

Deku: (✷u✷)

Dynamight: Foooooood!

God I love them.
