1 Prologue

FOR SURE HE'S HERE!?" i shouted to myself when I read one article saying that he's already back.

"Ma'am you have a board meeting in 30 minutes ma'am tungkol sa naguhong project sa Batangas ma'am" she said in trembling voice.

Alam ko naman kung saan nang gagaling yung takot niya eh iniisip niya siguro na makasuhan kami dahil sa nangyari. Well what do you expect sa newly grad na secretaries diba! Last week ko lang kasi siya tinanggap eh.

"Don't worry Helen we'll pass through this as long as Alam natin ginawa natin lahat. Nagtataka nga ko Kung bakit gumuho Yun eh Ang kalidad Naman yung binili nating materyales. Pero wag ka mag-alala I'll handle it"I said with assurance and smile to make her feel relief

"Yes ma'am i'll go na mam" she said and I nod as a reply. After a minute I decided to retouch na kasi malapit na mag start yung meeting well I'm just wearing pink skirt paired with black blazer. I proceed to conference room because I know that the meeting is about to start na.

When I entered conference room everyone stops murmuring and greeted me and I just smile as a reply.

When I already seated at my chair one of our Engineers quickly raise their hands to speak.

"Ma'am what should we do! Nagagalit na Yung company na nag pagawa satin ng building nila" he said without hesitation

Everyone looked at me with scared look.

"Dekalidad Naman lahat Ng ginamit na materyales diba!? So what happened Engr.Guerero how come na nasira yun?" I asked the man behind me whose silent during our meeting.

"I don't know ma'am" I was surprised angry at the same time because wtf he's the one who manage and handle this project.

"I know someone who can help us with this ma'am. I will talk to him if you need help. He's a lawyer ma'am I know he can really help us with this ma'am" Engr.Vergara approach

"Well as a matter of fact Hindi pa nama natin kailangan Ng lawyer eh kasi Hindi pa Naman sila nag sasampa Ng kaso but I know one of this days kakailanganin natin Yun kasi sasamantalahin talaga siguro nila Ito para maperahan tayo"I said with monotone

"Okay then ma'am I will set a date for both of you to meet" Engr.Vergara replied. I just nod as a reply.

"Okay everyone meeting adjourned"Helen announce.

Its Saturday and Mr.Vergara informed me na ngayong araw daw kami mag uusap Ng lawyer nakilala niya.

I was about to enter my car when skies got my attention I can't stop watching it well skies really have it's own beauty mapa Gabi o Umaga man di ka talaga magsasawa sa tanawin ng langit.

I was looking at the sky when a thought comes in my mind

"Kamusta na Kaya siya tiningnan Niya din kaya ang langit katulad ng laging kong ginagawa?" After saying those words I sighs and continue entering my car.

Hours after I already reach the venue kung saan kami mag kikita ng lawyer na kilala ni Engr.Vergara

naiisip ko palang na mawawala sakin yung firm ko nasasaktan na ko kaya I won't let anyone ruin and take it away from me matagal dn namin yun pinatayo ng mga kasamahan ko.

"Good morning ma'am" Engr.Vergara is kinda happy right now I wonder what happen

" smiled while asking him.

"He's here na po ma'am nag cr lang"

I was busy observing the venue and it's really aesthetically amazing from it's antique designs and colorful paintings it's kinda extravagant but it's beautiful.

"I'm sorry" my whole body freez because of the shockness I feel. Kilala ko yung boses na yon kahit my konting pagbabago at medyo naging malaki yung boses niya bat ang ganda pa rin sa pandinig. I was about to turn my gaze to them but I can't grabe yung tambol ng puso ko at parang nakikipag karerahan pa ito dahil sobrang bilis Ng tibok.

"Ah! Ma'am" I have no choice so I need to turn because I need to confirm something.

"This is Atty.Hellium Montez" Engr.Vergara introduce me to him without knowing na mas kilala ko to kesa sa inaakala niya.But I didn't say anything,ayoko.

"And this is Ma'am Athena Saison my boss"Engr. introduces me also.

I turn my gaze to the man who's sitting beside Engr. Hindi ko alam kung ako lang ba to pero bakit Ito yung nakikita ko sa kanya longing and sadness ang nakikita ko sa mga mata niya.

"So we meet again huh!" He smiled sarcastically and you can see anger in it but his eyes shows different emotions.

I want to hug him and kiss him again but I can't because I know this are not the same like before, like how it used to be.

"Do you know each other na pala?" Engr.Vergara interrupt me on what I'm thinking.

"Yes! very well"Hellium answered him while looking intently at me.

I guess guarding my heart is kinda hard than solving my firms problem.
