Chapter 2: The King gets what he wants

ISEN'S POV
"We're still up for movie night right? I wanna watch Jumanji this time!"
"Hey! It's my turn to pick the movie! We had a deal remember!"
"Yeah Isen, it's Remi's turn to pick. You'll have wait to for the next sleepover to pick"
"OH HELL NAH BRUH! I ain't watching another episode of that stupid K-drama!"
"What did you say you rotten orange!"
"Guys! Stop fighting alright! why don't we just settle this later"
"Isen broke your pen Blyke"
"Oh, he is getting it this time!"
"Hey! I'm sorry okay! I was in desperate need of a pen!"
"Sorry won't cut it this time you little bitch! It's like the 10th time you did this!
"Please spare me! I'll pay you back I promise!"
"For every single pen, you broke?"
"Yes, for every single pen! Just please spare me"
"Fine, I'll let you off the hook this time, just because I got myself a cake"
"Thank the heavens they served the triple chocolate cake today!"
As I was silently praising the lord I felt a tug on my shirt, making me turn around.
"Hey guys, isn't that the new girl?"
I looked over to the direction Remi was pointing at to see the new girl munching on her cake. I looked at her in surprise as I started sulking again.
"Even the new girl got a cake, maybe your just really slow orange head"
I just glared at Blyke who just laughed at me, until I got an idea.
"Let's invite her over!" the other two looked at me in confusion as I just shook my head.
"What I meant was, let's invite her over to eat with us. Who wouldn't want to eat with us?"
Before the other two could stop me, I started waving my hands like crazy in the air as I tried grabbing the girl's attention.
"Hey! New Girl!"
I shouted but the girl didn't turn around.
"Hah! I guess Isen really is a girl repellant"
"Hey! That's so not true! She probably just didn't hear me"
Blyke and Remi rolled their eyes at me as I frowned.
"I'm pretty sure she heard you, everyone did"
"Yeah yeah whatever, I'm still going to try"
I covered the side of my mouth, before shouting.
"Oi! You with the purple hair!"
It did the trick! She saw us!
I continued waving her over until Blyke spoke.
"Hey dude I don't think she's coming over" I snapped my head in his direction.
"Huh? What do you mean she's coming this way"
Remi and Blyke slapped their faces, as I just sat there confused as hell.
"She is! Look she coming over right-"
I turned my attention back to the new girl to see her gone.
"What! Where did she go!?"
Blyke cut me short as he burst out laughing hysterically, slamming his feet on the ground. Remi started laughing too, but not in an obnoxious way like Blyke was.
"What!?"
None of them could speak because they were laughing so hard, Blyke practically wheezing. Anger started building up in me as I slammed my hands against the table.
"Stop laughing!"
But as I said that they started laughing more and more they were practically crying. But just as I was about to slap Blyke, a familiar presence started approaching us.
"What's so funny?"
I lifted my head and saw Arlo hovering over us. I could already feel myself sweating by the minute. Remi smiled and waved at Arlo to sit down, he sat down as I moved over so I wasn't invading his space. Remi stopped laughing and was giggling to herself instead. But Blyke continued laughing, trying to calm himself down, he looked to face Arlo.
"Well...Isen invited the new girl from our homeroom to sit with us, and she..hahaha...ran away"
Blyke was still unable to stop laughing, and I lowered my head. Remi stopped laughing only to burst out giggling again. Arlo was the only one not laughing, in fact, he looked rather serious. I started to sweatdrop at this, because I knew for a fact that this won't end well at all.
"Why would you invite her? For all, we know she could be a Low-tier."
I shook my head and raised my voice a bit so they could hear me over their laughter.
"She's a High-tier"
Blyke had totally lost it now. He was laughing so hard that he started to cry. I slumped down on my seat, trying to hide my face because of the embarrassment. Blyke pointed at me and slammed the table, making me lose my balance and fall of the bench. As I got up Blyke started to shriek like a total lunatic.
"Are you stalking the new girl now!? DUDE, you have major problems!"
Arlo gave Remi the look, then without any hesitation, Remi electrocuted Blyke on the arm. Blyke screeched, he stopped laughing and started rubbing his arm. Arlo turned to look at me and I could tell he wanted to ask *Cough force Cough* me to do
"Isen get up and follow me"
"What!?"
Arlo grabbed my arm and practically dragged me out of the cafeteria, over to somewhere more private. When we reached an empty hallway, Arlo stopped and let go of my arm.
"Owwwww Dude!"
Arlo gave me a look that told me to shut up, so I did. Arlo is the King of Wellston, everyone is practically afraid to even look at him and you never know what he could do to you if you provoke him.
I gulped, waiting for him to speak. He looked back and forth along the hall, scanning it to see if there were any students before snapping his head towards me, with narrowed eyes.
"What do you know about the new student, how do you know she's a High-tier? " Shit! Did I trigger something!?
"W-Well I'm not sure..but she looked like it! She totally blew off Blyke in one of our classes even though he's the Jack!"
Arlo crossed his arms and tapped his foot on the ground. I shrugged and he raised an eyebrow, making me melt to the ground. He scanned the hallway again to see if any students are there. He turned to face me, and his eyes started to burn a bright blue.
OH MY GOSH! Please pray for me!
"Talk"
"U-um... so her name is uh Crystal Nightingale, no one knows her ability, or if she even has one, uhh... she's really mysterious and I don't know anything else..."
I raised my voice while speaking those words, which made my voice squeaky. Arlo's eyes were still burning a bright blue, I wanted to run away but I knew if I did I would be dead. Arlo gave me an intense glare, making me feel even more nervous than I started sweating.
"Well, find out more information about this Crystal girl. if she really is a high-tier then she's wrecking the hierarchy by pretending to be a Low-tier. Something's telling me there's something more to her. You can do it right?"
"Oh yeah, totally! I can do that, not a problem hehe"
He didn't look impressed but his eyes stopped glowing, which means he deactivated his ability. I breathed a breath of relief knowing I won't die yet hehehe. The bell rang signaling the end of lunch, and Arlo walked away. I waved goodbye, even though I knew he didn't notice. And as soon as he was out of sight I full-on sprinted through the halls in the opposite direction and towards my next class. Oh shit, what have I gotten myself into! I mentally screamed to myself
