17 Malice Existence (2)

'Hey boss, I think it might be the right time to ask. What can you tell us about this thing's ability?' Luna telepathically communicated with both Aurora and Lily.

'Oh, it seems you have already gotten the hang of this telepathy, thingie.' Lily communicated back.

'Yeah it was easier than, we thought.. anyway what have you found out about it's ability?'

'No idea, but I think it might be some kind of high pressure, targeted at a specific a person or environment or it could probably be just a gravity ability.'

"Gravity... Huh?" Luna mattered.

'Eh.. what's wrong minion 1?'

'What did you just say?'

'What did you just say?'

Both Luna and Aurora asked at the same, their heads were turned to Lily glaringly. Lily pretended like she did not feel their glares, as her gaze remained fixed on the thing. It hasn't made a single movement since it spoke.

'I said what's wrong Luna.' Lily shamelessly lied.

'That's not what we heard.' Aurora countered.

'Then you must begin, with polishing your listening skills, minion 2.'

'You said it again?!'

This time Lily didn't say anything, and retracted her wings. She thought to herself 'status' and a holographic screen only she can appeared. She focused her eyes on the tamer ability, and opened a new list of information.

As she read through the information, her eyes landed on the sub-ability of her tamer ability. The system informed her, when lifeforms advance their ability to SSSS, they gained a sub-ability connected to that ability.

Lily grew excited when, she read through what it can do. Her sub-ability is called link. Like the name says, she can link with her tamed 'beast' and be able to use their abilities. It's a cheat, and finally Lily thought things were looking up once more.

Reading more, she found out if she were to link with either twin, or both at the same, she can see their statuses, something unheard off. And also link works both ways, if the tamer wants to let her tamed 'beasts' to use her abilities.

Luna and Aurora had already caught on that Lily had been focusing on her status panel, so they had been watching what the thing was going to do next, but it had been frozen the same way, as if waiting for something.

Suddenly both the twins froze, a warm sensation numbed their senses, they were blind, and deaf for a moment, before regaining back their senses. For reason unknown to them, they felt physically stronger than they should be.

Luna's sclera darkened, her pupils became slits, and she could see things, she couldn't before, she could literally see the threads of time, all around her, and those connected to Lily and her sister, she could see the threads of time on that thing.

All the thread were silver, and each of them were circling, attracted to her. Aurora on the other hand was more odd, her left eye remained the same, while the right one, became the same as Lily's eyes, she felt this undescribable connection to Lily, stronger than the bond, she shares with her other half.

She could feel it all, Lily's sadness, fears, rage and many more emotions mixed in as one, that she couldn't tell which is which. The connection became deeper, as she sensed Lily's self loathing. A tear flowed out in her right eye, as raged built up, directed at the malice.

She mistaken the negative emotions that Lily had felt her entire life, as a product of this thing before her. Fractures of space materialised all around the fiend. Inside of them was nothing, but eternal darkness, sucking in the fiend.

That's when it reacted, a mouth split open in its hollow face, and showed a terrifying smile. The earth began shaking, as it raised it's long limbs in the air. Pressure came crushing down, forcebly closing the ripped spaces, trees breaking apart from the pressure.

Lily struggled with the new pressure crushing down on her, but unlike last time, she didn't fall to her knees, and her bones didn't crack. Luna and Aurora stood firm, as if they felt nothing. With trees no longer in vicinity, huge four wings sprouted from Aurora's back.

The wings were white, swirling with golden aura around them. She flapped them, and left the ground, generating powerful wind, that almost blew Lily away. When up in the air, she raised one of her hand, and manifested really large Ice shards.

She let her hand fall, and the Ice shards followed, their descending speed surpassing thunder flashes. The malice jumped upwards meeting the shards head-on, it's sinister smile widening. It's body expanded, as it past through the ice shards.

The ice shard met the ground, burrowing deep in the dirt, ice freezing the entire area. Lily and Luna moved away, before it could reach them. The temperature decreased exponentially, but gladly Lily couldn't feel the cold, and Luna covered her body with her golden flames.

The fiend formed a fist in it's expanded hand, and struck at Aurora. But Aurora had a sinister smile of her own, she closed her eyes ignoring the impending doom, raising her hand above her head.

The malice, was confused, by this act, but it didn't decrease it's speed. When the blow was about to meet with Aurora's body it froze in the air, not just it's body but also it's thoughts. Aurora's smile widened.

'I always knew, I could count on you.' she telepathically communicated.

'Hehehe..' Luna telepathically giggled.

The air stood still, as a blinding golden light formed on Aurora's hand. The light's size kept on expanding reaching the heavens. Lily's eyes widened, as she felt goosebumps all over her body.

She felt the need to kneel down before this holy power, and it took everything she had to make sure she didn't. She saw as Aurora grabbed hold of the golden light, and suddenly the holiness was gone, only sinister aura, fueled with bloodlust disguised, as being pure.

Lily knew beyond anything else, that if that thing took a blow from that light there wouldn't be anything to identify it's existence. She was anticipating for its death, before she remembered, she doesn't know why it went after her in the first place.

Using her telepathic connection, she roared.

"WAIT! Don't kill yet, Minion 2!'

Aurora stopped when she was about to struck downwards.

'Why?' she sounded genuinely confused.

'What do you mean why? If you had struck with that blinding golden energy, you would have split the world apart.'

'Eh.. but this is my divine weapon's second form, it would have only targeted this fiend, some poor lost soul, and some wandering spirits, around half of the world, and nothing else.... so can I continue with what I was about to do?'

Lily was shocked and intrigued about this divine weapon, but she still wanted that fiend alive.

'Just don't kill it, bring it down instead.' Lily said.

Aurora shrugged her shoulders, and the divine weapon disappeared into thin air. She retracted her wings and fell down, and Luna who had listened to their entire conversation, used the time threads to bring that thing down to them.

They all hurdled around the fiend in it's stasis state. Sprouting her wings, Lily flew towards it's face. After it's expansion it became really tall, and large. She reached it's face, and saw it frozen with only a mouth that formed a sinister smile.

She touched it's head, and received a massage from her system.

[Would host like to tame this unknown creature]

'Wait a minute even the system doesn't know the origin of this creature.. hmmm.. it might be a powerful ally, but unfortunately it's not cute at all, so I will have to use the puppeteering form of death manipulation ability.'

Her hand drove through it's head, and she sensed the life thread, clenching her hand at it, she pulled back, with a grey thread pulsing with another form of life force.

Her death thread sprang out of her forehead, and connected with its life string, forming a one sided connection, unlike when she tames, which forms a connection that goes both ways, this connection it was only obey, and nothing more.

Lily returned to the twin on the ground and retracted her wings, she stepped away from the fiend, and the twins followed. She gave Luna a nod, and she knew what she wanted her to do. As Luna was about to release the monster from it's stasis, a voice interrupted.

"What are guys doing?"

'Come on, all I wanted to do was to take a leisurely stroll, was that too much to ask for?' Lily couldn't help, but internally complain.
