'Arghh... Leave me guys. You are gonna break my bones! ' I said, rather shouted. Mike and Sam were hugging me as if I had been lost for years.

It was the first day of my 12th standard and I had passed out from 11th standard with a surprising 92% marks.

I was happy to get back to school after two months of vacation.

'How are you doing? ' Mike asked me in excitement.

'I am fine. What about you? ' I asked.

'Same' he replied.

Michael George or better known as Mike was my best friend. He was a person full of life who brought life to wherever he was. He was normal-heighted and was a real flirt. The thing that made him look different from the others was his hairstyle. His hair always stood in a standing ovation due to the use of hair gel.

'And how are you? ' I asked Sam.

'I am fine.' he replied.

Sameer Khanna, or better known as Sam was a nerd and also my best friend. He was of those forebenchers type, goody-goody who won't do anything wrong.

The three of us were a gang of best friends even though we were completely different from each other. Mike was of a carefree attitude, Sam was a nerd and I was bit of a reserved type of person who didn't talk with girls at all.

By the way, I am Aman Khan and this is my story.

I met Mike for the first time during my sixth grade. He was a newcomer at that time and the teacher had asked him to sit near me. On my left side was Sam and on my right side was Mike, that's where our friendship started. I had never expected that I would befriend someone like Mike, given to the fact that he was completely different from me and Sam. He was of a playboy type and got along with new people quickly unlike me and Sam.

On the other hand, Sam was my friend since the first grade and I had befriended him out of pity since he was so lonely all the time.

I sat on the last bench where Mike and Sam had been sitting. We were talking about our experience during the vacation when someone entered our classroom. A tall girl with brown coloured wavy her made her way to our classroom. That entry made my heart stand still. My heart was acting weirdly. I was lost in her mesmerizing beauty. She was fair and had large brown eyes.... the best part of her face. Her eyes twinkled and that made me hypnotize. It was as if the world was moving in a slow motion.

My eyes were glued to her and I didn't even blink! I was actually gaping at her.

'Whoa bro! When did you start checking out girls? 'Mike asked.

The moment I saw her, I wanted to tell, but words failed to come out of my mouth.

She looked around the class with a smile on her face and when her eyes met mine, my heartbeat went fast as if a catalyst was added to it. Our eyes met each other's hardly for a second, but that moment, I felt I was falling for her.

She looked back at me again, right into my eyes and the next moment she started giggling. That killed me.

Only then I realized how dumb I was looking with my eyes enlarged and open mouth.

'Who is she? 'Mike asked me, as if I knew her.

I shrugged my shoulders.

'You're behaving weirdly. I didn't knew you were interested in girls. 'He said.

'Yeah, that's what I am thinking. 'I said, not in my senses.

I was never interested in girls. I didn't even talk to them. I would always feel nervous when I did. But this time, this girl had stole my heart. It was truly love at first sight.

Just then the bell for the assembly went off and we marched towards the Assembly Hall. The principal and some teachers gave vast and boring welcome speeches. My whole concentration was on that new girl whose name was still unknown to me.
