The Origin 1

It all began with a loud scream and a kind of strange noise in Ryan's room at 12am. You could tell from his yelling that he was in great pain. i got up from my bed and ran towards his room only to find mom sitting with her head resting on his door in tears. I asked mom what's wrong with Ryan, but she gave me no reply. I started banging on his door yelling at him to open it but he didn't answer me all he was doing from what i could tell outside his room was screaming and turning his room upside down. I asked mom why she wasn't doing anything to know what was wrong with Ryan but she looked at me and put her head down giving me no reply. After probably 10 minutes of the screaming and everything, it all died down at once and the lock to Ryan's room opened. I was pretty scared of the situation but mom wasn't. We went into the room only to find Ryan lying on the floor like a lifeless body finding it difficult to breathe as he gasped for breath. His body was stained with blood same as the walls and the windows of the room. I was damn terrified at what i saw. What shocked me the most was when mom tried to lift him up and i saw deep cuts on his back. There were like scratches from a big cat with huge claws. The claw scratch were in three lines, parallel to each other in a slant formation. I think my heat skipped a beat after i saw that.

Mom called Alex to come help her get Ryan into the car. Alex is a manservant in the family, but he's like a part of the family now because he has been with us for the past 10 years or more than. Before mom could drive Ryan off to the clinic, i asked her if I and Becky my little sister could come along with her, but she said "No honey just stay with Becky I'll be back with Ryan by morning", and then she zoomed off. Alex accompanied mom to the clinic so it was I and Becky that were the only ones at home that night. I couldn't sleep that night so, i went to Becky's room and sat down beside her and started thinking about what happened earlier. After sometime, I just thought of tracking moms location. So i got my PC and started tracking the car's location. When i got their location, i started watching their every move. As what anyone would think, mom would take Ryan to the Clinic, but she drove past the clinic. I thought that maybe she's taking him to another clinic, but she drove right past the next one. So I continued watching their movement until they got out of town. I thought of giving mom a call but i didn't want to disturb her because she was driving, so i just kept on watching. Some minutes after mom got out of town, she went off road and was heading for a thick forest. Before she could drive into the forest from what i was seeing, she went off the location map. I couldn't track her location any longer. I tried over and over again but all my attempts failed. When this happened, two things stroked up my mind. It was either she crashed the car or the location couldn't access that area i just hoped that my imagination were wrong. But what could mom be doing in a forest? After a while i got tired and slept off.

Beep, beep, beep... I got up from my PC with those sleepy eyes of mine, i realized that i slept with head on my PC but what was that beeping sound so i pulled myself together to find out what it was, it was coming from my PC. I looked closely at it only to find out that mom's car location has been picked up and it showed on the map that the location was picked up from that same spot that it went off. I started tracking the car's location, it was coming home. i looked at the time it was 5:35am so i went to the sitting room and waited for mom to arrive because i couldn't sleep any more. Sorry for not introducing myself. Anyway, I'm Freya. I'm the second in the Maheegan family, weird name right? Ryan's the first, and Becky is the last. Dad passed away when i was three. He had a rare incurable disease. It wasn't up to 5 minutes when i heard mom pulled up front of the house. I ran towards them and was about to give mom a hug when i looked closely at her right arm. It was wrapped with a kind of animal skin, the day wasn't bright enough so I couldn't tell what animal skin it was. The skin was glowing blue. I asked mom what it was, but she said we had to get indoors quickly so we went in. Ryan was looking very fine and normal but didn't say a single word. So i went to sit next to mom to clear the questions and the doubts in my mind. I was about to start asking mom about the bizarre episode when she asked of Becky. She was still in bed. So she said "I know you've got a lot on your mind so before you start asking me your questions, you've got to listen to this".

Long time ago when humans could articulately interact with animals, magic and mystical beings were common among men, Ravelna a very powerful and witch of Earldor with two girls Alchera and Nezralia was so engrossed on how to resurrect her husband. He husband died the day she gave birth to her daughters, he was sacrificed by her coven because he wasn't a wizard. It was their way but she didn't know about this custom. His death brought grievance upon her which led her to wipe her entire coven and their generation therefore inheriting their powers which made her the one of the strongest being in the world. She looked for every possible means to resurrect him but found none for 5 years until she found a piece of writing in one of her spell books that revealed how to resurrect a sacrifice. The writing divulged that for a soul to be resurrected to the human world, it must be bonded with the gene of a living organism. It was a soul for a soul. The writing also revealed that the being resurrected would have the traits of whatever living organism that was bonded with that of the human. So she decided to use a wolf. She didn't wanted him to be just an ordinary human. She wanted her family to be the most powerful and feared family in the human world. She scavenged everywhere she could looking for artefacts or anything that was necessary to finish the potion. She made sure she got what she wanted even if she had to slay an entire kingdom or tear up a person. She found everything she needed except one ingredient. She needed something that could bind the human and the animal gene together. It was a very rare substance called Alccahryl. Ravelna traveled round the world looking for the element until she found it in a place called Lewangza. The Alccahryl was a plant but looked more liked a rock. It could only be found in a place where man couldn't ever think of, beneath the mountains until a day that it rained Alccahryl. She got back to her coven and finished up the requirements with her daughters. She got the remains of her husband, It was ashes in a sacred vase and mixed it with the potion and finally burnt the wolf alive. The ashes of the burning wolf started rising and gathering up in mid air same as the ashes of her husband and then, the two ashes combined together. As they joined together, dark clouds filled the sky and there came a very strong wind upon the village. No one could see a thing, they could feel the darkness upon their skins, they had never seen such a thing before. They thought the end of the world had come to an end until after a while, the wind stopped and the dark clouds faded away. It was that moment Jahraz was reborn.
