52 Final chapter of Volume I

"You and me are one, Li Xin." Seeing the perplexed face of Li Xin after hearing such matter, Chen Zoe continued. "Xuan Yu, me and you were all sharing one soul. If I simplify it, you are the third reincarnation of Xuan Yu."

"But, how can it be?"

"I also don't have much knowledge about how it happened. But one thing is sure, the one who did was powerful enough to interfere with the laws of the world. How else, he drags a reincarnated person back into his previous life.

Because of that, we regain our consciousness. But both of us doesn't have any interest in living a second life, so we decide to let you have it." Chen Zoe explains the situation.

"It's all because of me." Out of nowhere, Xuan Yu also joins the conversation. "If I never fall in love with Long Tian, no one had to suffer like this. I'm really sorry…" Feeling guilty, Xuan Yu apologizes to both of them.

"Here he goes again. How many times should I have to say, you are not in fault here. Loving someone isn't a fault. It's just our damn fate that wasn't good." Chen Zoe gesture at Li Xin to support him.

"Yeah, it's not your fault that your lover turns to a mad man after losing you. But what we have to think is how to stop his madness now.

You guys may know, why I came into the dream realm in the first place. I need to reach Long Yuzhen, but I don't have no idea how to surpass Long Tian."

Back at the dream realm of Long Yuzhen. 

Lei Wei were trying his best to avoid getting caught by Long Tian. His powers weren't enough to resist nor protect himself from Long Tian, who was in the dragon form.

Ended up in a place where no exit left, Lei Wei braced himself to take one more fire attack from Long Tian. He tightly closed his eyes while seeing the fire forming inside Long Tian's mouth, but after standing there for a while, feeling no pain. He slowly opens his eyes and witness Chen Zoe in front of him.

The fire doesn't touch his body, even parts away before it touches him, as if something blocking it. He move forward towards Long Tian, seeing the reckless act Lei Wei called out Chen Zoe to stop. 

But Chen Zoe ignores him and goes forward. Having no choice, Lei Wei quickly grab his hands to stop him.

Lei Wei's hand burns up by touching Chen Zoe and upon seeing the face closer Xuan Yu step back automatically. Because Chen Zoe felt as someone else for him, even after having the same face. 

That moment, he observes the person standing in front of him. In a wedding attire, he was moving towards Long Tian with an unwavering gaze that filled with trust. "Xuan Yu..." Lei Wei mutters.

As he heard the name, Xuan Yu turns his head towards Lei Wei as he responds. It confirms his all doubts.

"Yarok..." Towards the dragon who can't recognize anyone, Xuan Yu called out. He raised his right hand to touch him, seeing him vary Xuan Yu stood there patiently. "Yarok, it's me, Xuan..." His voice staggers as his emotions pour out.

 Observing a bit, Long Tian bend his head down for him to touch. A smile appeared on Xuan's face, he gently touched Tian and tears fell down from his eyes out of joy.

Seeing it, Long Tian transforms back into his human form. Hesitate to touch him first as if his guilt is stopping him, but couldn't hold back, wipe the tears of Xuan Yu. 

"Xuan... It's not a dream, right... It's really you..." Xuan Yu gives a kiss on his lips, to prove its the reality.

"Is it enough to make you believe, it's not a dream." Long Tian nods in joy.

"Xuan... I'm sorry for everything. I know, I don't have any rights to seek forgiveness from you after what happened back then... I'm willing to accept any punishment you give me, but please don't push me away from you." Feeling nervousness and guilty over what he did to Xuan's family, Long Tian seeks forgiveness.

"You don't have to ask forgiveness; I know the whole truth. Also, the past had no meanings now. So don't blame yourself for someone else ill intentions." Xuan Yu tries to comfort Long Tian.

"Xuan, let's start a new life. To fulfill all our dreams that we saw... Will you come with me?" Long Tian was speaking to take over Yuzhen's body to start a new life. 

Hearing it, Lei Wei slightly got anxious. He wasn't sure about how Xuan Yu be react. Getting a second chance to live with the person he loved, who would leave such chance. Then what about Long Yuzhen and Chen Zoe? That the question left behind in his mind.

"I also want to live with you, but not by hurting other. I know the pain of losing my family, how can I cause the same pain to someone else?" 

"Are you trying to abandon me?" Long Tian's voice filled with anxiety.

"Not at all." Holding Tian's face, Xuan Yu continued while looking at his eyes. "I'm planning to live with you here. Will you accompany me to the end?" Hearing it, Tian quickly agreed to the request.

A door opens up in the dream realm which lead to Long Yuzhen, but not knowing where Chen Zoe is, Lei Wei stood there puzzled. 

"If you like to see a bit more, I can wait. After all he is your idol." Hearing a familiar voice from back, Lei Wei turn around. Seeing Chen Zoe, his face brightens up and he hugged him in a relief of getting something he lost.

After the get together, they went inside the door. It was quite dark and many voices echoing inside. None of them were pleasant to hear, as it filled with mocking and cursing. 

"What kind of life he been living all these times?" Hearing it, Chen Zoe speaks. Seeing Lei Wei getting angry over imagining such situation his nephew gone throw.

"How can they treat a child so cruelly? Are they even humans? I should have wiped them out a long ago..."

"I can understand your heart but must understand one thing not everyone is bad as you thought. There were humans, who helped him in his needs. How else, a newborn survived in this harsh world." The words are enough for Lei Wei to hold back his anger. 

"There he is..." Finding Yuzhen in the dark place, Chen Zoe show the place to Lei Wei. Yuzhen was in an unsteady condition; he was sitting while tightly closing his ears with his palm. 

"From here, it's your turn. Go and take him back." believing in Chen Zoe, Lei Wei disappears from there.

Chen Zoe went towards Yuzhen, sat on his knees and slightly touch his hands. Yuzhen slowly opens his eyes, a relief shown in his eyes after seeing Chen Zoe. "M-Master..." In a weak voice, he speaks.

Using a little trick, Chen Zoe stops the voices from reaching Yuzhen. "You did a good thing by endured it until I reach here. Let's return back, there are many people who are waiting for us." Forwarding his hands towards Yuzhen, Chen Zoe wait for his reply.

His hands willingly reach towards Chen Zoe and hold it tightly. With less efforts, he takes him back to the reality. 

Chen Zoe opens his eyes in the human realm, but Lei Wei was nowhere to be found. Only a note was left behind by him, saying, 'Take care of my nephew.'

Chen Zoe looks at Yuzhen, many memories float through his mind. The words of the old woman, who warned him to stay away from Yuzhen, the story of Xuan Yu which leads to the destruction of three realms (almost), and the advice of real Chen Zoe to stay away from Yuzhen. 

All leads to one conclusion but still, Yuzhen's custody was thrown to Chen Zoe's hands as it about to happen. Not knowing where his fate taking him, Chen Zoe stood near the entrance of the cave, looking outside.

Meanwhile, Long Yuzhen regained consciousness and looked around anxiously. Upon seeing his master's face in the distance, a sense of relief washed over him. Steadily and peacefully his heart beats, unknowingly he kept watching Chen Zoe without averting his gaze.

"Yuzhen... Yuzhen..." The call of Chen Zoe's voice regains his consciousness. As he drew closer, Yuzhen's heartbeat accelerates.

Overwhelmed by confusion, Yuzhen remained motionless. The proximity of Chen Zoe prompted him to close his eyes, anticipating a kiss. However, Chen Zoe was actually checking Yuzhen's temperature by resting his palm on Yuzhen's forehead.

"You don't have any fever, then why is your face turned red?" 

"Hot... It's so hot here, that's why..." Yuzhen stammers, attempting to fabricate excuses, while also trying to maintain a distance from Chen Zoe, fearing that his wildly beating heart might be heard just by being near him.

try to keep a distance in fear of what if Chen Zoe hears his heartbeat. 

After taking plenty of rest they get ready to return back to their sect. For the new journey, that waits for him in the sect.
