CHAPTER 7.4 The Land of Hearth

"This is the western border of the Land of Hearth, this is far away from the capital. I can't believe the Zipmana broke down mid-way to our destination. Ugh! I thought everything was good, you said everything was good." I cannot believe that this is happening right now. For the last two days, Callisto and I have been walking toward the Land of Hearth.

We did reach it, but we are not in the capital, now we have to walk our way there which would take another two days! There were people passing us, but they won't let us hop in because they think that we have bad intentions. Unbelievable! Do we even look like someone who would have bad intentions? No! No, we don't!

"Sure, blame everything on me. After all, I did all the preparation." Callisto sarcastically said, basically, he is saying that I did nothing to help.

"Excuse me? Do you think you're the only one who did something? I helped too you know." In all honesty, I did not help at all. The reason for that is because he said he wants to do everything by himself, which I did. I only did minor things, like snacks for our trip. Snacks are very important for a very long trip.

"You did nothing!" He yelled.

Callisto and I are clearly hot-headed at the moment, and the reason for that is that we have not eaten since this morning. We ran out of food, and we saw no eating places on our way here, and not even some edible food to eat. NONE.

While we continued to yell at each other, someone had the audacity to attack us. Good thing that our senses and reflexes are still intact despite being hungry. Looking in the direction where that attack came from, I angrily threw the same attack.

It was too late when I realize that I used the same magic type as he is. I intend to keep my ability to use many types of magic, but I guess that is too late now. Now that this has happened, I guess I'm going to keep doing it. For now, I'm not going to worry about what Callisto thinks.

"Who do you think you are to attack us, you imbecile," I said angrily. I know I am not in the Land of Deimos anymore, and the Land of Hearth is not a place where I can do anything that I want, but he attacked us first! It is rude to do that to people who have not done anything to harm them!

"You dare to call me imbecile? Don't you even know who I am, woman?" He angrily looked at me. From one glance at his face, he is the type who is short-tempered. People like him are annoying.

"Seriously? What are you some kind of prince or something like that? Look, whoever you are, you will pay for doing that to us. It was very rude of you to attack us for no reason at all." It is probably not a good idea for me to do this to someone here in the Land of Hearth, but as I said, he started. I'm only helping him finish it.

"Wait! Wait, Andrea! You can't just start a fight with him, and seriously? You can't recognize him?" Callisto stood between us and looked at me with a worried look on his face.

"That's a stupid question, Callisto, of course, I don't know him and I don't think I would want to."

"Of course, you would want to know him! He is the heir to the Hasha family! The Hasha family is the reason why we are here in the first place." Now that I am looking at him closely, the color of his eyes is a big hint of who he is. Throughout each generation, having red eyes is a distinction of their bloodline.

"Your strangers want something from my family? If you're suspicious from before, you two are even more suspicious now." Thorn Hasha, is the first son of the Hasha family. It is said that at a young age he was able to eliminate a large number of monsters all by himself. When I first heard that, I would it was exaggerated because no child would be able to do that. However looking at him now and sensing how much magical power he has, it seems that it's not impossible at all.

"Suspicious. I can understand why you would think that, but we did not come here to cause trouble for you, Young Lord Thorn. However, in the first place, you attacked us first without any warning. Don't you think you owe us an apology for that?" I may not be trying to attack him now, but I still demand an apology for what he did. It was very rude of him to do that to us.

"I don't owe you anything. This is the Land of Hearth, strangers like you don't have any right to do whatever you guys want especially with the situation this land is in right now." Have no right to do whatever we want? Is this guy trying to make me laugh right now? I admit that we were very loud, but it was not to the point that we were harming someone from this land.

"I understand that I should be respectful to you as you are the next in line to lead this land to its future, but I am too a daughter of someone important. So if I were you, I would also watch I say from here on out." I said threateningly. Before I left the Land of Deimos, I decided not to reveal my identity to get an advantage, but recognizing the situation that I am in right now, it would not be a bad idea to use my identity.
