CHAPTER 6.1 The Beginning of the End

"Andrea, no matter what people say, you are my daughter. I love you, and never doubt that. You are the greatest gift that I ever had, and no one will ever break my love for you." Celeste looks at the crying Andrea. She feels sad that she can never change the fact that she did not give birth to Andrea and the people in the Land of Deimos know that. Celeste tried so hard not to let Andrea hear that, not to let Andrea know about the truth of her birth, but people still talked even if she asked them not to.

"But Mother, how can I be your daughter if I'm not actually your daughter?" It breaks Celeste's heart to see Andrea crying like she is now. Celeste never planned to reveal the truth about her birth, but the circumstances of people trying to sabotage her relationship with Andrea at this early make things complicated for her.

Since the day Andrea became her daughter, all Celeste has done is showered the little girl with love, and for people to reveal the truth to Andrea must be heartbreaking for the girl's little heart. The reason is that Andrea will most likely misunderstand Celeste's love for her.

"Does that really matter, Andrea? Whether we are related by blood or not, you are my daughter. Forget what those people say to you. Just remember that I love you dearly, and no one can change that." Celeste smiled sweetly at Andrea. The little girl who was in tears earlier has calmed down.

After putting Andrea to sleep, Celeste called her assistant. "You called me? Why at this time? I know you're my boss, but there is a limit, you know? I need my sleep." Celeste's assistant kept complaining, but Celeste remained serious the entire time. Noticing that Celeste is quiet, the assistant realizes that the current situation is serious.

"I want you to find out who told my daughter about her birth and the people who were around at that time. Also, make sure that everyone gets the message that they will face the consequences if they ever make my daughter shed a tear again."

Seeing this side of Celeste is something that her assistant can never get used to, and it is not something he would like to experience every day. "What would you like me to do with the person who told the young lady's birth?"

"Make sure that person loses the thing they love the most. Also, make sure to emphasize that they are lucky that they are not going to die. Tell that person that this is me being reasonable." The assistant agreed that this is the extent of Celeste being reasonable. If not, then they could have been found dead somewhere on the corner of the street.

The following day, the news of that person is all over the place. That person's most beloved treasure has been confiscated, and its business is all over. That person is now penniless and has nothing to lead their life in luxury.
