Chapter 1: Looking Forward

In the village of Death, everything is gloomy and dark. The people's lives are full of pain and death. If you are believing in luck, then you could say that that village has none of it. I have been living there for 17 years of my life. I have already seen many things that your eyes cannot imagine. Death, drugs, rape, betrayal, and more. It was like you are living in hell. But if you believe in God, you are lucky but, in my place, I don't.

Oh I forgot to introduce myself, but you can just call me 3113. I don't use my name as they give you value and honor, but don't worry I do have one, I just don't want it.

In the morning, I woke up like I wish I were dead. But I stand up and look at myself in the mirror, thinking if I left and do what I want something would change.

Then my mother called my name, "Ezar what are you doing? Your father is calling you; he wants to tell you something about the business." Yes, that is my name but you don't need to hear the rest.

I walk downstairs smiling at my mother, "Good morning mother, is it very important?" I asked. My mother smiled back "maybe, he also doesn't tell me what is it about, but you should hurry before he got mad." "Ohh, of course, mother see you later" I smiled again. But after I look away, I change my face.

In the study, I greeted my father with a strong personality, "Greetings father, what can I do for you?" My father laughs and smiles, "this is my girl, always showing who's strong. Anyway, I called you about something important. I think you are ready for the job." I already know what he is talking about, but I still ask him about it, "what is it about father?" "It is about spying on the governor's son, you need to study in the same school as he is, he will become a good worm when we hook the fish. I know you hate going to school because you already know more about it, but this is the only way to get in their house. So, would you let it slide for me, my dear?" I have nothing to disagree with my father this time, because I also hate that governor, he is the one at fault who ruin this village. "Of course, father, then I shall be going and leave immediately" Father smiled again, "that is what I want to hear, then you should get ready now, I have already done the process about the school you just need to show up." After that, I left.

In my room, I already pack my things. I said goodbye to my parents inside and told them not to look at me going away. Then outside, a girl name Elli called my name, she is also with Rea. When looking at them, I grin happily like it is the first time seeing them again. "Hi, guys," I said. Then Elli's face looks sad, "why didn't you tell us that you are going away." She hit me lightly, but I act that her hit is strong. "Yeah, and to think that you will leave without saying goodbye to us," Rea said. Then, I scratch my head like I don't know what to do, "sorry guys, but I was also surprised when I heard about it. But you guys are here now, so this is a goodbye then." They look at me then start crying, so did I. After saying goodbye, I ride the car and wave them goodbye, when the moment is already quiet, I wipe my tears in my eyes like it was nothing, and move forward.
