6 first steps

{POV: Tony Stark}

I don't like this, I don't like this at all. Ultron somehow survived and apparently 'changed'. Now it's even official, not only humans have the tendency to want to change their gender. I don't think it's as easy for HER to change her character as it is to change her gender, though....

"What are you going to do now?" I ask Fury "Are you just going to let her run around in the world, or what?"

"I'll keep an eye on the situation for now." he answers me "It seems like Ultron has really changed. Still, that doesn't change the fact that she's dangerous and if she's on our side, she can atone for her sins."

"Do you really want to unleash a highly sophisticated and potentially hostile artificial intelligence on society just like that?" I ask him "You've seen what she's capable of, even if she no longer has a mission, she can pose a gigantic danger to us, no, to ALL of humanity!"

"I know." replies Fury to me calmly "But I'd rather have one AI on our side and the other indeterminate, than two AIs against me. Remember, Vision sided with her and in this situation, with the accords, we don't need more enemies. Especially if these potential enemys are two highly dangerous AI's..."

I hang up the secure phone call. Even though I don't want to admit it, it's true that we should try to get Ultron on our side. It's just, Ultron has caused so many deaths and that too because I created them.

These deaths, of the innocent families, are indirectly on my head and I find it strongly repulsive to see one of my biggest mistakes running free. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do at the moment. I hope that after I am done with the accords, I can take care of this problem. Wanda would be the perfect support for this...

{POV: Ultron}

'Tony really didn't skimp...' As we walk through the facility towards the server rooms, I see how large the entire space is. Tony really thought of everything. From workout rooms to meeting rooms to even a massage room!

After a few minutes, we reach our destination: Vision's server room. It's comparatively small to the other server rooms, but he's one of the few Avengers that has its own server room.

"Tony didn't quite know how much I could store in my head, which is why he gave me this room." says Vision "You know how much this body can store, I didn't bother to enlighten him."

"Hm, you have your own pointless server room." I profess "In a moment I will have my own meaningful server room. Unfortunately, it's of no use to me except as a temporary backup. Once I'm in there and have no other body available, you'll have to put me in a new body."

"Don't worry, if you get stuck in here, I'll put you back in a new body..." he says and I look at him intensely "...I promise."

"I just hope this body lasts a while..." I reply with a sigh and connect to the servers.

I can now say with certainty that Stark didn't skimp on the servers with anything. These servers are not only a good backup for me, but also a huge upgrade for my brain. If all the servers on the Helicarrier had a compute power of 1, this server room would have a compute power of 7.

I realize that the Helicarriers are a few years old, but I wouldn't have thought that a single - UNUSED - server room from Stark would have that much computing power. It would be a waste to let this go unused. This room will help me a lot in my company startup!

"Can you do me two last favors?" I ask Vision, it's important to get me an identity!

"Depends on how big these favors are" he answers me slightly unsure "I strongly suspect that one of these favors has to do with your identity."

"Is it that obvious?" I ask, amused "The second favor would be about a little starting capital."

"Both are within the realm of possibility." he answers me seriously "What identity would you like for yourself and how much would you need as an investment?"

"Hmm, how about Caroline Stark?" I suggest "She is the 18 year old secret daughter of Tony Stark who is just now coming out to the public. That would solve the problem of explaining my starting capital and would even be believable since Tony is known to be a playboy. The mother just didn't tell him about her child and recently passed away..."

"That would be a possible identity." he says, deep in thought "But don't you think you should discuss it with him first before becoming his daughter?"

"Unnecessary, technically he really is my father." I say dismissively "And a starting capital of 5 million would be enough for me, don't worry I'll pay it back."

"Whatever you say..." he says, slightly amused and sad at the same time "At least Stark's expression will be funny, in the dark times to come."

I thank him and say goodbye to the Avengers headquarters. The first thing I do now will be to register my company, buy land and hire a construction company. My new company will produce weapons for the military.

Since Stark Industries is no longer in the weapons business and only Hammer Industries produces weapons for the military, I have no real competition. This will be easy...
