The Real Me 2

The sun shone bright through the apartment window as Kiana's mum paced back and forth the living room... Kiana couldn't take the silence anymore

"You're making me dizzy" she yelled at her mum "What the hell are you hiding from me" she added

"Believe me am not hiding anything, his the one" Kiana mum replied pointing at Tyler

"Yah, how do you know him?" Kiana asked

"He was a friend to your dad" her mum said

"Wait what, How old are you?" Kiana asked Tyler who sat calmly in the living room

"Sir the device will be ready in a week"

"A week! well it's nothing compared to how long I have waited" Desmond said

"How is Lou" he said asking Lou's secretary

"He's being going around with his normal business" The secretary replied

"Good, keep a closer eye on him. We won't want him ruining our plans like before" Desmond said as he watched the secretary leave the office

"Andrew Davis is no more, and those stupid resistance have been dealt with only one thing stands in the way of my success... My Son" Desmond said as he fell to his seat

"A century old or so" Tyler smiled

"What?????" Kiana yelled "Look am serious am getting really confused here" she added

"I'll explain" her mum said "By now you have heard of Andrew Davis who is now seen as a revolutionary and an enemy of the country, Well all this were made up by the government to cover up the truth, Andrew Davis was a scientist working for the government at that time there was virus killing humans and animals..."

"The great plague" Kiana noted

"Yes, Andrew found out some powerful personality was behind it and reported it immediately, but instead of proper measure to be taken against this man, nothing was done and the plague just vanished like it was never there... he had bought his way out. Andrew was angry at this and resigned, he was soon hired by a company who was trying to create a drug that would make humans immune to all diseases and would cure all form of ailment, they created drugs that could cure cancer in a minute even in its final stage. But they had some side effects, so Andrew's expertise was needed"

"I don't understand how does this explain anything?" Kiana asked

"The plague was a set up to make Andrew see the government as incompetent and quit his job so he could get hired by the drug enhancement company" Tyler said "First the manager in charge did it for money but after Andrew accidentally made a drug that could enhance human cells and make them live forever it became a quest for immortality"

" Ok! so how does this have anything to do with me?" Kiana asked again

" Andrew couldn't stop the manager and his quest for power so he created me and a memory chip with all his memory which he gave me to find a compatible host who I can insert it in" Tyler said

"Which is me right? " Kiana sighed

"Well first it was your father but the chip caused an unexpected glitch, it made him look like Andrew which brought alot of attraction to him so we transferred it to you since you are a girl we were sure it wouldn't have the same effect" Tyler said

"So in order words am an 18year old with memory of an old man in my head... wow, interesting... I finally understand, understand that you guys are CRAZY... how long did it take to come up with this huh? Do you really think I'll believe this?" Kiana yelled and stumped out of the apartment.
