The Fall Of The Barrier

The sky became red and people muttered amongst themselves wondering what could have been the cause of the sudden change while the 9Xforce agents tried their best to calm them down. BANG!!! There was a huge explosion and the barrier began to collapse causing panic among the citizens who ran for safety.

"What just happened?" Desmond yelled

"The barrier just crashed sir" Lou's secretary noted.

"I know that... How did it happen?" he yelled watching his staffs run up and down the building

"Sir I think you should power the generator before it to late, make use of this crisis" Lou's secretary replied

"Something is wrong here, find Lou" Desmond said ignoring the secretary.

Lou bashed into his office in no minute time very furious

"What did you do father?" He asked

"I was about to ask you the same thing" Desmond said slamming his hands on the desk

"What do you mean? Why on earth would I fall the barrier... This is one of your schemes right? To win world power" Lou yelled

"You are getting on my nerves child" Desmond said pushing Lou aside when he saw Carlos, Louisa and Six enter his office.

"What is going on here?" Carlos said entering his office

" I have no idea" Desmond said trying to calm himself "But my men are working on the barrier as we speak" he added

"That's not what he means, Your SSF agents are out there with those abomination capturing the citizens" Louisa noted raising her tab to show the video of the chaos happening.

"I... I" Desmond stammered turning to his secretary but he was no where to be found. "Where did he go?" He asked Lou who looked at him confused

"Am sorry Mr Politenn but you'll have to come with us" Carlos said giving Six a sign to cuff him.

"I guess he was right, start the preparations" Carlos said Louisa who went ahead of them.

Outside the Hybrid society building Lou's secretary stood with a grin standing next to Darin.

"You did a great job Amber" Darin said collecting a tab and some documents from her.

"Happy to help" She replied taking off her mask " I was getting tired of this anyway" She said tossing the mask to Darin

"What of Stang?" Darin asked

"Don't worry, he's kid is my best friend isn't she?" Amber winked hoping unto a hover cycle and zooming off.

Sophie held on to Marbel preventing her from leaving the building. "You can't go, what if something happens to you and you disappear like aunt Kiana" Sophie cried

"Nothing gonna happen" Marbel said starring her brother and his wife

"Sophie come on now, Aunt Marbel has to protect everyone... She's a super hero" Sophie's mum said squatting next to her

"l don't want her to a hero" Sophie cried while Trane carried her

"Be careful" Marbel's mum said watching her leave the building.

"Hey Bel" Amber said parking her cycle next to Marbel

"Amber, it's been a while" Marbel said excited "Are you on your way to the shelter?" She asked

"No I came to see you. I found a message from a resistant member, It was for your father" Amber replied "I haven't played it yet but I can go in and check it out while you carry on with your 9Xforce biz" she added

" Um sure but I you should be heading to the shelter my folks are heading there too" Marbel noted.

" Yeah, sure but I gotta grab something from your room" Amber noted "Don't worry I can take care of myself" Amber smiled and dashed into the house.
