"Kiana" The recruiting officer called

"sir" Kiana replied with excitement, she had always wanted to join 9xforce since she was little

"congrats Kiana you have successfully passed the exam and have been enrolled into training camp…. Go to the secretary desk for more information" The recruiting officer smiled handing her a slip.

"Thanks" Kiana said collecting the slip "me Kiana Kimberly a member 9xforce"

"Trainee" A female voice said. Kiana turned and saw a tall blonde lady standing behind her.

" Hi am Lira, A class 1 9xforce member"

" Am Kiana" Kiana smiled

" Don't get carried away becoming a trainee doesn't actually mean you'll become a member" Lira said and walked off.

"oh" Kiana sighed as she watched Lira walk off.

A sound of a loud clash diverted her attention and in that instant the 9xforce building became a chaotic hell, people running up and down. Kiana was confused, she starred at Lira who was now looking uneased.

"What's going on ?" she asked walking up to Lira

Lira turned and starred at her for a while " something trying to break through the barrier"

"who is she?" A man asked

" A new trainee sir" Lira replied

" You go join this rest civilians in the shelter, it's not safe" the man said

" But I can help" Kiana replied

" This is not a child's play… you've not started training yet what can you do? Do as you are told" the man replied and walked off

" but….."

"You heard him, you have to get going" Lira said

Kiara starred around before leaving the 9xforce building" if whatever is trying to break in is successful who knows how long it will take before I'll be able to leave that shelter" Kiana sighed

The sky was red and the street was empty… 9xforce members were every where making sure all the civilians had made it to the shelter. Kiana walked silently towards the shelter staring at the sky as the barrier lite up…she starred closely at the barrier and her eyes were filled with shock …

" Young lady get into the shelter" A man said

" Look something is trying to open the barrier from the inside" Kiana noted

" You have to get into the shelter" The man stated

"But look" Kiana stressed pointing towards the barrier as the man pulled her into the shelter

" his not going to listen to me" Kiara said to self and without taking another taught she snatched the man's laser gun and ran towards the barrier.

" Hey what do you think you are doing" The man yelled running after her and alerting other 9xforce members

"God am so dead" Kiara said climbing up a building and aimed at the device trying to open the barrier and she blasted it down. Other 9Xforce members starred in shock as the clashing noises stopped . Kiana smiled.

Kiana sat in the office of the Class 1 leader of the 9xforce.. the name on the desk was Lau Six, Kiana starred around as she waited for the man to come in. Not long after the door opened and the man she had saw earlier with Lira walked in.

"Kiana Kimberly right?"

"Yes sir" Kiana smiled

"Am Six head of class 1 unit A of the 9xforce"he said starring at her " do you realize what you did today could have endangered the life of so many, the blast of a laser gun is really powerful it could have helped that machine break down the barrier if not aimed properly" he added

" Well I tried to tell …."

"That's not my problem…you saved everyone today. How did you sight that device our computers couldn't even sight it?" Six asked

" Who ever created it may have used some kind of frequency to make it invisible to your computers" Kiana replied

"Oh…I see, any way we tracked the person who designed the device… he is an attendant in a supermarket according to the intelligence department, he was possessed by a beast after a hunting expenditure outside the barrier"

" The only survivor of last week illegal hunting expenditure crew?"

" yes" Six said "you better go home… your classes as trainee begins tomorrow" he added

"really?" Kiana smiled

"I don't think I look like a joker" Six replied

" Oh.. thank you thank you" Kiana said excited… She taught her dream of becoming a 9Xforce member was over but to her surprise it wasn't.

Kiana walked along the building where she had blasted the device and saw a green gem..

" I wonder what this is" she said to herself as she starred at the gem and placed it into her pocket.
