Enlistment

Kiana and Marbel stood in assembly hall of the 9xforce building with the rest who had passed the final test, Tyler stood at the back looking around as if in search for someone or something.

"Wow, am so happy to see you guys" Tessy said almost startling them.

"Tessy!" Marbel said hugging her and Kiana did the same.

Six stood on the dias next to the head of the 9xforce agency Mr Carlos A, Trans Fox and the second in command of the 9xforce Louisa Williams.

"Welcome everyone to the 9xforce agency. I am Mr Carlos A - head and supreme commander of the 9xforce agency, you should count your self lucky to be among our elites... We would be informing you on some of the rules guiding the agency which you must strictly adhere to. You are already aware of some of them" Mr Carlos A said in a strict military voice as he collected a tab from Miss Williams.

"This gonna take while, there's like a million rules in there" Tessy said letting out sigh

Kiana stood with Tyler, Marbel and some other new elite, she had been added to the 9xforce protectors which was under the Class 3 unit B rank of the 9xforce agency. There are three ranks in the 9xforce agency all with their subunits

The Class 1 which is the highest Rank is made up of two unit, Unit A are the Hunters whose job is to hunt down creature who serve as a treat outside the barrier - Unit B is the combat squad, they're like the main line of defense of the 9xforce eliminating anything they consider a treat. Then the Class 2 rank made up of three units, Unit A the air squad work mostly outside the barrier and work closely with the hunters - Unit B the executors deal with death sentence and few times are called on to assist the combat squad - Unit C the technical squad are the brains of the 9xforce agency made up of detectives, hackers and informants then finally Class 3 the last rank of the agency made up of two unit, Unit A the Marine squad and Unit B the protector who serve as officers to the citizens... Kiana didn't like the fact that she was among the protectors as there was a low chance that she would go outside the barrier, "Well I should better work hard if I want to consider being promoted to the Combat squad" she said to herself

"Awesome, Tessy got enlisted into the technical squad just like she wanted" Marbel said watching Tessy head out with another group while Kiana smiled.

"Alright you all come with me" A woman said walking up to them "I am Janette Cole" She added leading them down the hall.

"She looks creepy" Marbel whispered to Kiana who sighed

"You'll take your uniforms and then I'll assign you to your various station" Janette noted leading them to a locker rooms "Ladies to the left, guys to the right" She noted, she sounded gloomy like she didn't enjoy her job. Kiana felt nervous as she wore her uniform, she wondered who she would partner up with and where her station would be. Before long they where out and Janette began to assign station, Kiana's heart fell to her stomach as her name was mentioned... "You'll be heading to the Hybrid society, there was a robbery there a while ago so you'll be standing guard there" Janette noted, Kiana and Marbel starred at each other in shock "She didn't just say Hybrid" Kiana said to her self shocked and starred at Tyler whose face was completely neutral... "You'll be partnering up with Xavier, he'll explain everything you need to know" Janette noted pointing her to Xavier direction

"Hello newbie" A guy said walking up to her

"Hi" She said examining him

"You look nervous" He said bending over to her exposing a scar at the side of his face. "It's ok, it's not like we gonna be fighting some kinda dangerous monsters" He said tapping her shoulder then leading her outside the 9xforce building to his air rover.

" you gotta to be kidding me" Kiana noted on sighting the air rover
