A confrontation
“You did what?” Ethan asked finally.
“I’m sorry.”
“You did what?” Ethan yelled, coming off the bed as the full implications of what she had just said hit him.
“Please, lower your voice. It’s late in the night and people are sleeping.” She begged, trying to calm him down.”
“Don’t ask me to calm down!”
Ethan yelled, even louder than before.
“You mean to tell me that you got pregnant and then you went to terminate it without even letting me know? What the fuck is wrong with you?”
“Stop yelling at me!” Mildred yelled in turn, getting angry too. “It is my body, not yours and besides we are not even married yet. You did not even care to know why I had to do what I did. You’re just yelling at me.”
