Chapter 80: Smile Of Confidence

Emperor Realm is a Realm after the Mortal Realm and it is divided into three levels and each levels are composed of two stages.

Early Stage which is composed of the Soul Emperor Realm and Battle Emperor Realm. Middle Stage which contains Earthern Emperor Realm and Sky Emperor Realm. Lastly, the Final Stage where the Heavenly Emperor Realm and Transcendent Emperor Realm is under of.

As Shu Feng gaze at the Creepy Devil in front of him, he finally made his descision. He still three chances before his Aegis broke out so he would take advantage of it to solve his predicament!

Time Lapse!

He wanted to try if this skill could still be used in front of his enemy. And just as he thought, he could see himself getting blown out in just a single strike from his right side. But that speed that the Merged Devil performed is... Already beyond his own instincts and comprehension!

'Whoosh'

As the silent whooshing sound disappeared after it was heard, the Merged Devil vanished from his spot in a mere 0.001 seconds!

'Too fast!' Shu Feng exclaimed inwardly before evading to the side to get out from his spot and prevent himself getting blown out.

But as soon as he take a step backwards, a fist came flying in front of him! It is too fast for hin to react in time!

Shu Feng was blown away by that punch. Dust were all over where he was crashed. As soon as the dust settled, Shu Feng was kneeling with his one knee and his right hand holding the spear that is struck at the ground firmly.

A twenty meter long line was drawn in front of Shu Feng directly towards his spear. It was visible that he used Wrath to stabilize himself by stabbing it to the ground while expanding it to it's maximum length.

But the force is too strong and his weapon was only able to stabilize him after it was pushed back by twenty meters!

Even his right hand was trembling all over! He is lucky that he was able to hold his Wrath despite being blown away by that strong force.

He slowly stood up and retrieve his weapon's original length. He wipe the blood beside his lips and twirl his spear three times before pointing it's head towards his enemy.

He already expected that his Time Lapse would be useless if his enemy would be able to change their attack pattern in time. If maybe he could used his skill within the time frame of 0.01 seconds, he might have a chance to prepare for his evading move but using the skill is just a part. The most important is still the speed that his body would be able to muster to evade his enemy.

Even if he knew that his enemy is going to attack in his right within the time frame of 0.01 seconds, his body reaction would still act late despite his mind reacting already. Even his instincts won't be of any used in his current situation.

He looked at his Aegis and a large cracked already appeared at the chest part. It was visible that he already used the first line of his defense and only two more are remaining.

'I only got two more strike to withstand before my shield would broke out. But that is already enough to finish this fight!' Shu Feng said to himself while showing a grin in his face.

The others looked at Shu Feng's smiling face without any hint of fear. With that single exchange, everyone knows that his luck already reached it's limit and only a matter of time before he would be defeated!

Did he become silly knowing that he didn't have any hope of winning anymore? Or he had another card to play that would turn the tables around. But the second option is impossible. That is a Peak Battle Emperor after all, even with all the means and miracle that Shu Feng showed this past exchange, they bet that it was already the end of his road. He was doomed to die the moment the Twin Devil merge into one!

The First Devil and the others were glad! They were be able to finished their mission! Although there are a lot of setbacks and unfortunate encounters with this trip, in the end they still hold the last laugh!

He then looked at the Silent Devil who was just quietly sitting cross-leged at the side without even glancing at the fight. Some sort of creepy energy was entering his body. It was visible that after executing that slash a while ago, he won't be able to fight anymore!

It's not like the First Devil is worried that they would lose this fight since the Twin Devil is already at the great advantage. Letting the Silent Devil rest a little longer would do them more good.

But as he gaze at the unknown creature that is fighting in their side, he cannot help but shiver in fear. He finally realized that the rumour he heard that the Twin Devil is the second strongest subordinate of their Lord is not a mere opinion! He even wondered is the Twin Devil has the same strength as their Lord at the moment!

He prayed that the Twin Devil won't attack them after killing their target. He feared that something unexpected would happen and they would go to hell together with Shu Feng.

He unconsciously touch his pocket and was reminded of something. He heaved a sigh of relief. Even if the Twin Devil decided to attack them, he still has a artifact that was given to him directly by their Lord after he ascended to his position.

It is said that it could contain anyone's soul and store it inside and the more soul it has, the more powerful the artifact would become. The Lord said that he needs to gather as much soul he could and once the time comes, they would used those souls to feed the Devil after he was awakened in the mortal world to purify it's impurity!

And based on the number of souls he already gathered these past few years, he is confident to suck the Twin Devil's soul out in exchange of all the souls inside the orb. A soul of a Emperor Realm Cultivator is something more precious after all.

But it would be only possible if someone from their side were to distract the Twin Devil. Right now is the perfect timing but he knows that if he killed the Twin Devil, they would be killed by their target. So it was better to eliminate all of the possible hindrance as much as possible.

Of course he won't resort to killing the Twin Devil as long as he would come back to his original state after dealing with their common enemy.

Kei and Zise looked at their brother with a worried expression. They wanted to charge ahead but they know that they would only become a burden that would cause their brother to be unable to fight properly.

Kei was gripping his fist tightly and was just about to step forward and charge fearlessly towards his brother's enemy but something unexpected happen which made him flinch.

'Thud'

He looked beside him and saw Zise lying at the ground while his body was trembling all over. He quickly reacted and grab him into his embrace while gently caressing his hair trying to comfort him.

He remembered his Brother's words back then when Zise acted this way. 'Don't worry, I won't die.' That is the words he heard back then.

Kei knows that Zise is a familiar of his brother and anything that happened to him is bound to be connected to his brother.

He is not a stupid boy as he looked. He knows that for Zise to act this way, something terryfying is bound to happen to their Big Brother.

He kept on comforting Zise but nothing ever works. He still keep on trembling and it seemed like it is something much more worse than the last time!

He cast his gazed at Shu Feng. He saw his smile that exudes confidence saying the he won't die.

"We are doomed." Luo Yong said with a nervous tone as he looked at the two figure far ahead of him. One was as terryfying as the Devil and the other holding a spear with the a smile showing no fear.

Even if he is far away from the battle, he knows that Shu Feng is bound to be defeated the moment his shield broke out.

"Don't worry, my brothet is not that easy to defeat." Kei said firmly. With these past moments that he had been together with his Brother, he knows that he is someone that has a lot of solutions in every matter he is facing. He believe in his Brother from the deepest part of his heart.

Luo Yong looked at the kid that has a firm looked and decided not to comment anything. With his oadt experiences, he knows that Shu Feng would be defeated in the end. But knowing how much Kei trusted and believed in his brother, he didn't want to shatter his last hope and would just let him witness everything himself.

Even Long Zao had a troubled expression. Shu Feng is the one his whole race had been looking for and he couldn't afford to lose him! But as he saw that smile from him, he felt that Shu Feng still has a card to play.

He find this feeling unbelievable but he still chose to believe it. Even if everything would fail, he is still there to act and resort to every means to save the brat. Saving him means saving his whole dragon race and that is a great honor for him ss one of the past Great Dragon of the Dragon Race.
