'Woah, there are a lot of different flavors in a single type of food. But I cannot still find my Legendary Trascendent Grade Humburger. Well maybe my strength is insufficient right now.' Shu Feng thought to himself.
After buying some Humburgers to fill his stomach, he cannot help but marvel because of it's on the top taste. Even the most cheap Humburger tasted so different from his expectation.
And because of this, his hope for tasting his Legendary Trascendent Grade Humburger grew to the highest peak.
He also browse the last new category which is the Recipes/Formula.
It contains some food recipes, pill formula, poison formula, crafting formula, rune formula, formation formula and instant recipes.
Well, since he already solved one of his greatest problems. He immidiately go back to his next business. That is absorbing the Blood of Ancient.
He solemnly move the bottle containing the blood out of his item space.
UG already told him that only by absorbing the blood would he get every bit of it's benefits. Because if he only merge the blood into his, there is a high chance that the purity of the Blood of Ancient would weaken.
Although Shu Feng plans on absorbing it, it still comes with a greater risk because if he failed to absorb the blood, the will inside it would completely overtake him.
He opens the bottle and drink the Blood of Ancient that slowly enters his Dantian.
The blood that he drinks is not red in color, instead it yellow with some faint golden color mix in it. After the blood entered his Dantian, he slowly refined it using his Chaos Energy. But as soon as the Chaos Energy tried to touch the blood, a shocking wave of aura instantly assaults his insides.
"Puwark"
Even though Shu Feng was prepared, he still didn't expect the sudden counter of the blood's will that cause him to vomit blood.
But how can Shu Feng let it run amok inside him, so he gathers all of his Chaos Energy in his Dantian and forcefully suppressed the will.
Seemingly sensing the danger of being absorb, the blood shot out a faint golden light to his consciousness.
The blood without it's own will was like a treasure trove without it's own lock. But Shu Feng didn't dare to absorb the blood right now because something huge is happening inside his consciousness after that light shot out.
Inside Shu Feng's consciousness, a faint golden human figure was floating. This human like figure was surprisingly the will of the Blood.
"Hmm, I didn't think that a mere mortal would dare to absorb me, one of the Ancients that has lived for more than a hundred of billion of years." The human figure spoke even though it doesn't have a facial feature. "Do you have any confidence, mortal?"
Shu Feng just stands there while listening to it's statement.
"Yes, I am more than confident in absorbing you."
Shu Feng replies without any hint of surprise about it's ability to talk. Base on UG, some powerful Blood will give birth to it's will that will serve as it's last line of defense and the only thing they do is kill the invader no mattet what. But there are some special cases where the Blood is too powerful that it can even gave birth to a will that has the ability to think on it's own. It can also be either a blessing or disaster.
Because of their ability to think, the Blood will choose to be absorbed by you if you are lucky. But if it didn't want to be absorbed, the chances of being possess by it will almost a 30% higher than the will without an ability to think.
"Hmm, young ones are indeed ignorant. But since you are already decided to absorbed my blood, that means you are also ready in facing the consequences." The human like figure states while slowly walking toward Shu Feng.
When he reach a distance of one meter between him and Shu Feng, he suddenly sends his Ancient Aura directly at Shu Feng's soul consciousness without holding anything back.
"Buzz!"
"If you manage to withstand my Aura for at least one hour, I will consider it as you passing my test. If you cannot even withstand it for an hour, then forget about harnessing my power, even if you are maybe talented, it will be useless without a strong will." Shu Feng just stared at him while showing his determination, he was confident. Not only did his soul got constructed, he was even able to face all of his past hell experiences.
"Very well."
He didn't bother to pay any more attention to the human like figure anymore since the sudden outburst of his aura force him to kneel. It feels like a force equivalent to a mountain was pressing him on the ground. So he force himself to calm and sit crossed leg to pour all his attention in resisting the aura.
Outside, you could see beads of sweat keep on pouring on his head.
Inside his consciousness, Shu Feng's soul consciousness keeps on vibrating non-stop.
Seconds every seconds and minutes after minutes had passed.
It was already thirty minutes after the sudden burst of aura and his soul consciosness started to show signs of breaking. Outside his body, you could see some kind of liquid flowing out of his lips. Shu Feng was drooling, he was freaking drooling even in his sitiution right now.
"Hmm.. Not bad." The human like figure just stands there while watching Shu Feng in front of him.
'Crack'. A silent sound of cracking could be faintly heard coming from his soul consciousness.
Shu Feng was gritting his teeth while silently resisting the force. Every second that he passed seemed like an eternity. Even the aura seems like keeps on getting more oppressive with each passing time.
Another ten minutes had already passed and ten more cracks already appear on his body.
'It seems like heavens really have eyes. Maybe, just maybe he can do it." The figure thought to himself while reminiscing his past. If maybe he has a facial feature, an regret expression will surely appear on his face.
Another ten minutes had passed. This time, his whole body was already covered in cracks, even his own face was in verge of collapsing.
And at last, the last ten minutes had passed. It was already the human figure's expectation that he can passed his test once he saw him pursisting with only a single damage on his soul consciousness even a half an hour had passed.
When he was about to retract his aura, an unexpected scene happened in front of him. Shu Feng's soul consciousness that was already in the verge of collapsing suddenly emmits a faint golden aura that slowly repairing his damage soul.
The human like figure cannot help but twitch when he saw this, because that faint aura was very familiar to him. It was his own. It was his Ancient Aura. He didn't think that this kid would be so crazy to absorb his Ancient Aura.
Thirty minutes before, Shu Feng was focused in resisting the Ancient Aura when he heard UG speaking.
"The Host should try to absorb the Ancient Aura in order to further syrengthen your soul."
After that suggestion, Shu Feng didn't think twice and just let his soul consciousness slowly absorb some of the Ancient Aura even though he knows that it will become more dangerous for him. Because UG told him that this is a rare oppurtunity to let his Mind become more powerful.
Just thinking about becoming strong enough let's Shu Feng fantasize.
'Hehe, if I become stong enough I might be able to have an access sooner than later to my Legendary Trascendant Grade Humburger.'
And that's the reason why Shu Feng was drooling before.

Shu Feng was currently using the Ancient Aura to temper himself and after some minutes had passed, he noticed the similarity between the aura and his own Chaos Energy. Although it is only discernable because he had been pating a close attention, he was just too familiar to his own Chaos Energy that even makes him become sensitive about it. After poundering about it, the one hour time limit was already finish.
'Eh'. Shu Feng suddenly notice something happening in his own soul, it was emitting a white light.
Outside his body, an invisible light suddenly came out and spreads one kilometer radius around his body. Every corner that the invisible light passes didn't leave Shu Feng's notice. Even though his eye were close and he is inside his own consciousness right now, he can still amazingly see his own surroundings that even a bug didn't escape his own sight.

The Human like figure cannot help but feel amazed and terrified at the same time.
He was in awe on Shu Feng's sudden break through in Soul Cultivation and the terrifying thing is that he use his own Ancient Aura to refine his own soul. He cannot help but comment about Shu Feng's bravery or maybe stupidity.
It's not that he is belittling him, his soul is not even in first stage before but he dares to use some of his Ancient Aura to make himself strong.
But in the end, he just think of it as a blessing. With this, he was sure that he has a slight chance in attaining the things that he can't achieve before.
So after the deep thinking, he immidiately retract his aura.
Shu Feng slowly opened his eyes and a frown could be seen on his face. When the Human figure saw his expression, he immidiately concluded that because his Ancient Aura was too strong that it makes him frown. He cannot help but slight puff his chest.
"Is that all?" Shu Feng ask innocently like a little kid suddenly got his lollipop stolen. You cannot really blame him though, because the benefit of using the Ancient Aura in tempering his own soul comes with a lot of benifits. Maybe after another a hour or three, he would be able to advanced to the next stage and received another surprise rewards from the system.
"Eh?" The Human like figure cannot help but step backward when he heard his reply, he did not expect it at all.
"Huh?" It seems like Shu Feng understood that his reply was very rude. Because he knows that it was a presumptious request to wish for more from the senior. So he immidiately apologizes.
"I am sorry senior, I didn't mean what I just said."
"En." The figure just noded his head and didn't say anything.
Shu Feng seems deep in thought and can't help but frown. When the figure saw him frowning, he cannot help but have a feeling of Deja Vu.
'It seems like senior is still angry about not making my self clear enough.' He thought to himself.
"Acrually senior if I offended you in any way please forgive my ignorance, what I actually meant before was that your Ancient Aura is so incredible." When the Human figure heard him, he cannot help but sigh in relief and thought, 'It seems like my feeling of Deja Vu is just my illusion.'
But he soon forcefully eat his words after Shu Feng said his next sentence.
"What I actually meant is that if senior is free, I want you to release your Ancient Aura against me in hopes of tempering myself." Shu Feng replied with a complete innocent and determined expression.
Silence. A complete silence enveloped his whole consciousness. But no one knows about an impending danger that wants to explode at any time.
'Damn, free your face. I am not free at all. What do you take my own Ancient Aura for. Do you think it is some kind of tempering liquid, huh?! Are the young ones right now so ignorant or just really arrogant.'
Although the Human figure was grumbling inside him. He didn't show it outside.
"Cough, cough. It is impossible to release my Ancient Aura right now. At most I can only use it for an hour and half which is I already use the one hour having only an half an hour remaining. If I used all if them in one go, I wont have enough time to tell you some things."
Shu Feng couldn't help but sigh in disappointment, but it seems like there is something important that the senior would tell so he just brushed all other thoughts and focus himself in listening in senior.
