After absorbing the mana of the three corpses he ate their heart , feeling once again the pain and burn in his body.

The abilities he had were <Mana Absorbtion> and <Consumption >.

Using his second ability he could enhance his body by eating what he kills.

" Is that so? Thank you for enlightening me " the boy said with a grin

By the time the guardians came to wake up the slaves Damian has killed and ate all of them.

It was quite hard as he had to hurry but the mana absorbtion speed increased.

After not even 2 hours Damian reached the height of 5'9 and his body was stronger than most adults.

The hard muscles he had felt like a wall of stone.

' It's almost 6 A.M and the slaves haven't started working. The guards must come now. '

" WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU BASTARDS DOING?! IT'S ALMOST 6 AND YOU SONS OF BITCHES ARE STILL SLEEPING!"

Dave was screaming as he entered the cave and what he saw was unbelievable.

Tens of corpses with their bodies slashed and cut apart.

He walked to the nearest body who was lying on his left side.

As he turned the corpse around to see his face, he saw a pair of crimson eyes shining from within the corpse who was cut in half.

Before he could react he felt a blade in his neck and his blood spilling over the boy's face who just opened his mouth and drank it.

His consciousness faded away and Damian pushed him away.

Without waiting he started butchering Dave and at the same time used < Mana Absorbtion>

He ate his heart and brain.

He felt unimaginable pain everywhere including his head.

The mana transfer kept going for almost ten minutes and when it was over Damian was left with a hot feeling of the mana circulating around his heart endlessly.

Damian heard a noise at the entrance of the cave and he knew who was coming.

He quickly grabbed the sword of Dave and hid.

Mike was sitting in front of his brother's corpse with a few orbs of light around him.

" You impress me,Damian...I would've loved to take you as my disciple in the art of dark magic and The Way of The Serpent Devil, however now I must kill you no matter how cute you are"

"..."

" I suggest you come out now for I will give you a fast and painless death."

After the boy hasn't reveal himself Mike had no choice.

< Orbs of Light > < Level 2>

The orbs of light around Mike suddenly got bigger and united as one flying on the ceiling and lighting the entire cave.

" There you are..."

Damian launched at him with a sword strike but Mike blocked it with his staff.

" I don't have my sword on me unfortunately, however I will play with you a little "

Damian was just throwing his sword around as he never held one before.

" What weak moves. You never used a sword before, have you? I will tell you how I'm gonna kill you. First I will chop off your arms and when you're on the brink of death I'll use one of my spells which use black lightning and use it on my hand. Then I will stick my fingers in your eyes and blast your brains. How does that sound?"

To reach above Mike, Damian jumped as high as possible and mid-air he rotated his sword at high speed and chopped the weirdo's arm.

"ARGHHH!!!"

Mike cried in pain while holding his missing arm.

"T-That was Dave's ability..."

"That's not all"

Damian continued the fight playing with his opponent.

" This... You're not a begginer! You fucking liar!"

Damian has absorbed the techniques and mana of 2-Star Swordsman after all.

" I still have my magic, bitch !"

Damian quickly cut his head off and then his other arm.

He began absorbing the mana and ate Mike.

The pain was unbearable as his heart was adding a new string of circulating mana and his bones felt like they were breaking.

After one hour the pain was gone and all that was left was strength.

" Let's get outta here "

Before he left Damian took Mike's staff which was very resistant for a piece of wood.

As he left the cave he heard footsteps.

' I think there are at least 10 armed men '

Damian judged based on the sounds of metal clinging.

As they were coming from the safe route, Damian had no choice but to jump from a cliff and land in the Purple Forest.

Damian caught grasp of the mana inside him and tried to reinforce his body before jumping.
