21 Chapter 20 : Realm In The Thousand Demon Forest (3)

"FELLOW CULTIVATORS!PLEASE HELP ME!"

The yellow robed female screamed. She ran towards Nian Zhen as she saw that she was the elder guardian of the group. There was a risk of these people being bad guys, but it's better than being torn to shreds by what's chasing her.

As she ran towards Nian Zhen and the rest, a bestial roar came from the depths of the forest. Nian Zhen and the rest saw trees being toppled from the distance, and as the sound grew nearer, a silhouette about twenty feet tall emerged. Seeing this beast, Nian Zhen clicked her tongue.

"A Torrential Gorilla! It's one at the fifth Golden core stage!" Nian Zhen said as a dark blue gorilla with red glowing eyes emerged.

The beast saw Nian Zhen and the rest, and drummed at its chest. It was intimidating them, and was preparing for battle. The yellow robed disciple reached the trio, and fell towards them. Wang Yang moved, and caught her.

"Are you okay?" Wang Yang asked.

"Aside from my broken arm, and other wounds, I should be fine." she replied weakly.

"Uh, that's good I assume?" Wang Yang said.

Seeing his expression the female disciple giggled.

"Indeed it is." She said before fainting in Wang Yang's arms.

In the meantime, Nian Zhen was glaring at the Torrential Gorilla. This was a type of beast that had more intelligence than other beasts. Usually, it's not something that would be aggressive, but seeing its red eyes proved that it was angered. Still, despite being angered, it would only cause it to be extremely violent, but it would not lose all its rationality. That would only happen when it feels extremely threatened.

The beast stared down at Nian Zhen and the rest. It didn't attack immediately. It was sizing up its opponents first. From what it sensed, the biggest threat would be the silver robed old woman. Still, she was merely a threat, and it believed that it could handle her.

The problem was that for some reason, it sensed a different type of feeling from the small pale kid. It didn't sense that the kid had a higher cultivation than the old woman, but instead had the lowest cultivation in the group. Still, its instincts were telling it to be wary for some reason. The beast couldn't understand it. In the end, it still decided to attack. The beast roared as it launched an attack on Nian Zhen.

Nian Zhen clicked her tongue once more. She was preparing to attack, but then saw Ulquiorra with her peripheral vision walking towards the gorilla. Nian Zhen made a wry smile as she assumed a relaxed stance once more.

"A mindless beast shouldn't make too much noise." Ulquiorra said blankly as he lifted his finger.

The Torrential Gorilla's eyes widened. Its instincts made him forcibly stop its charge, and roll to the side. It felt a sharp pain after rolling. It looked at the source to see a whole present on his shoulder. It realized that if it didn't dodge, then that would have hits its head. The gorilla looked warily at Ulquiorra.

"So you dodged that." Ulquiorra said as he walked forward. He then sent his qi to his body to strengthen it along with spirit energy to toughen up his hierro. He plans to do things the more brutish way.

Ulquiorra used sonido, and immediately appeared to the side of the beast. He sent a kick with his small leg, but don't be fooled as the leg of Gorilla made a loud crack as it bent due to broken bones. The gorilla cried out, and its fur stood up. This was the moment all its rationality flew away with the wind. It detected that this was a life and death scenario.

It roared once more, but this time its roar was enough to shake the trees. It also caused the yellow robed girl to regain consciousness. She looked at the sight of a small boy facing the giant beast.

"That!-" She warned.

"Don't worry. The Torrential Gorilla is not a match for my junior brother." Wang Yang said to the Yellow robed girl.

The girl was left in a daze as she stared at Wang Yang with a incredulous expression. What sort of foolishness is this handsome silver haired man spouting? Wang Yang merely smiled in response as he signalled her to just watch.

Ulquiorra didn't bother waiting for the gorilla to attack. He used sonido multiple times in an instant to deliver multiple blows towards different body parts. The gorilla had both arms and legs broken, ribs cracked, jaw dislocated, and finally a cero was shot at the gorilla's head finishing it. Like the tri-tailed tiger before, the gorilla fell to the ground with a thud.

Ulquiorra appeared beside Wang Yang while Nian Zhen and Wang Yang smiled wryly. What a horrifying junior disciple indeed. The girl was flabbergasted. She couldn't muster up the words, and merely made gibberish sounds.

"Ah- wha- wai- hu- ho?!-" The girl was already severely injured physically, and now it seema she sustained mental injuries this time. She was still in Wang Yang's arms, and Wang Yang felt that this girl was quite funny.

"This is normal for my Junior brother." Wang Yang said.

At this point, the yellow robed disciple's was fried. Nian Zhen took her from Wang Yang to treat her wounds. Once the girl calmed down, Nian Zhen urged her to explain who she was, and what happened.

"I apologize for bringing trouble to you. I am Yan Fei from the Yellow Eagle sect. I came here with three other direct disciples, and ten inner disciples along with two elders to guard us as we went to the hidden realm near the entrance of the third layer. We were ambushed by a group of golden core Torrential Gorillas. All the other disciples died. I ran away as the elders gave me a chance to run away. Still, I was chased by one." Yan Fei said as she started sniffling and crying.

Nian Zhen patted her shoulder and comforted her.

"It looks like we to be careful as we go to the entrance of the hidden realm." Nian Zhen said and Wang Yang agreed.

Yan Fei recovered enough to walk, and said that she would come to the realm entrance with them. She needed to see what happened to the elders. Nian Zhen and the rest agreed after taking the beast core from the gorilla.

Throughout the journey, they didn't encounter any other golden core beasts. Wang Yang was able to showcase his prowess as he easily handles all the beasts that came after. Still, Yan Fei couldn't help, but look at Ulquiorra from time to time. She was curious about this monstrous child. By the time, they arrived at the entrance to the realm, they didn't see any sort of corpses or beasts. What greeted them were the people of various other sects seemingly preparing to go in. They then heard a familiar annoying voice.

"Well, if it isn't the old hag, and the anemic child. What a pleasure to see you here again."

It was Lu Zheng.
