Obito assured Danzo, "You needn't worry about me. Your sole task is to persuade the Third Hokage to confront Uchiha Karan."

As Obito began to fade away, a swirling vortex of space formed in front of him. In his final moments within the ROOT base, Obito revealed his Sharingan to Danzo, leaving a lasting impression on the ROOT leader.

Danzo, visibly stunned, murmured in shock, "A Sharingan with a complex pattern and devoid of the typical three tomoe... Mangekyo Sharingan!"

As Obito disappeared completely, Danzo was left to grapple with the revelation. His mind raced as he attempted to piece together the puzzle.

"That man... Uchiha Clan?" Danzo muttered to himself, his expression one of profound confusion.

Suddenly, a memory surfaced within Danzo's consciousness. He remembered a voice, one that resonated eerily with the voice of the man who had just vanished—Madara Uchiha.

Danzo's horror deepened as he realized the implications. "But how is this possible? I witnessed Uchiha Madara's lifeless body with my own eyes," he whispered to himself.

With a sense of urgency, Danzo knew he had to consult with Hiruzen. Turning to one of his subordinates, he issued a decisive command. "Inform Hiruzen that I require an immediate audience. Stress that this matter is of utmost importance. And also call for Homura and Koharu to present in our meeting."

The ROOT ninja swiftly carried out Danzo's orders, promptly delivering the message to Hiruzen. Upon hearing Danzo's request, Hiruzen responded, "Inform Danzo that I will meet with him tonight, after Minato's official appointment as the Fourth Hokage."

The ROOT ninja acknowledged the directive and made his exit, ensuring that the message would reach Danzo in a timely manner.

Additionally, the ROOT ninja conveyed the same message to Homura and Koharu, who concurred with the planned meeting at night as Hiruzen had specified.

Returning to the ROOT base, the ninja informed Danzo of Hiruzen's response. Danzo received the information with a sense of cautious optimism. He remarked, "If Hiruzen agrees, then there is a glimmer of hope for me to ascend to the position of Hokage after the eventual passing of both Hiruzen and Minato. As for that Uchiha, even if he were Madara, I've gained valuable insights from our initial encounter. With adequate preparation, I can certainly contain him."

Confidence radiated from Danzo, bolstering his belief that he could navigate the complex web of power and politics within Konoha. However, unbeknownst to him, both Obito and Karan would find his perspective on the matter rather naive, a sentiment that might evoke laughter if they were privy to his thoughts.
