Emiko began to grow fatigued, evident in her inability to sustain her speed, which steadily declined. In contrast, Hanzo's speed remained constant, and he persisted in his assault on Emiko. Whenever she missed, Emiko would incur cuts on her body. Before long, Emiko also collapsed to the ground. The fate of the other two, Aiko and Hiroshi, was identical, as they too succumbed to Hanzo's attacks and fell to the ground.

Outside the barrier, Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan observed the unfolding battle and felt pity for Karan's subordinates. They also had the urge to enter and provide assistance. However, Nagato stopped them, explaining that attempting to breach the barrier could result in severe burns.

On a distant cliff, overlooking the confrontation between Hanzo, Karan's subordinates, and Nagato's team, two individuals observed the situation.

"Where did these Uchiha Karan's subordinates suddenly emerge from? All my plans will go to waste like this," lamented a person wearing a white mask, who turned out to be Obito Uchiha.

"But they're putting up quite a fight against Hanzo," remarked Black Zetsu, standing beside Obito.

"Hmph, Kage-level fighters are in a different league compared to any Jonin. They're merely here to meet their demise. However weakened Hanzo may be due to aging and inactivity, he still possesses Kage-level power. They're as good as doomed," concluded Obito.

(Nakamura's flashbacks.)

Uchiha Karan: "You are a diligent young man. Would you like to become my subordinate? If you remain loyal to me, I will provide you with wealth, talent, and the position of a general in my army. I aim to unite the entire world and establish peace."

Uchiha Karan: "You have proven me correct in my choice. You truly are my strongest subordinate, deserving to be referred to as my right-hand man. Keep up the excellent work; I have great expectations for you."

(Aiko's flashbacks.)

Uchiha Karan: "You are a beautiful girl with a strong desire for strength and influence. I offer you a chance to become my subordinate, and I will provide you with the talent to achieve your goals."

Uchiha Karan: "Both you and Emiko hold a special place in my heart, and the two of you are the only ones I can rely on for my daily tasks."

(Matsuda's flashbacks.)

Uchiha Karan: "You possess a formidable physique. Join me as my subordinate and work under my command. I will provide you with the talent and resources needed to become renowned as one of the most powerful individuals alive."

Uchiha Karan: "You have mastered the techniques I have taught you exceptionally well. Continue to excel."

(Hiroshi's Flashbacks.)

Uchiha Karan: "Even if your brother despises you for being weak, you have the potential to become strong. Why not join me as my subordinate? Under my guidance, you will gain greater power and talent than your brother."

Uchiha Karan: "You must continue to master Wind Release, and enhance its sharpness to the point where you can become my most formidable subordinate."

(Emiko's Flashbacks.)

Uchiha Karan: "You are quite sweet and lovely. Would you like to become my subordinate? I will provide you with the talent so that other girls admire you not only for your sweetness but also for your strength."

Uchiha Karan: "She is my girlfriend. How can I allow you to touch her?"

Each of Uchiha Karan's subordinates was revisiting their initial encounter with him and reflecting on how far they had come. If it weren't for their association with Uchiha Karan, they might have been considered invaluable Genin within the clan. However, simply because they were Uchiha Karan's subordinates, people had to show them deference.

"It seems that we were unable to carry out Master Karan's orders. It's fortunate that we met our end here," was the prevailing thought in the minds of Karan's subordinates as they closed their eyes.

As their eyes closed, they found themselves in a throne room, with Uchiha Karan seated on the throne.

"You have all disappointed me. I had hoped that by entrusting you with this mission, you would have risen to greater heights. It appears I may have expected too much from all of you. Perhaps if I had invested in someone else, they would have been more powerful than the five of you are now," Karan remarked.

"No, Master Karan, we did our best, but Hanzo is incredibly powerful," Nakamura defended.

"Since when did you start justifying your failures, Nakamura?" Uchiha Karan retorted.

"Leave. I no longer require subordinates like you. You are all already destined to perish. My main body will arrive shortly to rescue you as a final duty to my subordinates. This will be our last meeting as master and subordinates. From today onward, you are free and no longer my subordinates," Karan declared.

"No, Master Karan, please don't remove us from being your subordinates," Aiko pleaded.

"Master Karan, have faith in us. We will emerge victorious," Emiko added. The others chimed in, shouting their determination to win and carry out Uchiha Karan's orders.

Suddenly, everything went dark, leaving only the lingering pain and the sense of loss from losing Karan as their Master. Anger surged within them for their inability to defeat Hanzo.

This anger compelled Uchiha Karan's subordinates to rise to their feet, surprising Hanzo. He tightened his grip on his sickle, poised to attack at any moment.

All five of Karan's subordinates lowered their heads and murmured, "We will defeat and eliminate Hanzo, fulfilling Master Karan's mission, even if it costs us our lives. This will be our final mission."

They turned their gaze toward Hanzo, and the three tomoe in the Sharingan of all five individuals spun wildly. Despite their injuries, they attacked Hanzo from every direction, their speed undiminished.

Despite Hanzo's ability to deflect the attacks from Karan's subordinates, he still sustained injuries because Karan's subordinates were no longer holding back.

"Damn it!" Hanzo exclaimed as he twirled his sickle wildly and sent Karan's subordinates flying, causing each of them to crash to the ground.

They all managed to stand back on their feet, but this time there was a significant difference; the three tomoe symbols that had been spinning independently connected to each other, forming a pattern.
