Five days later, the selection of individuals for the Konoha Police Force was held as scheduled. The number of applicants who arrived exceeded 500, as the offers provided by the Konoha Police Force were truly appealing to these civilians. This job promised them a life of luxury.

After the selection process, hundreds of them were chosen to join the Konoha Police Force. However, immediate duty wasn't in sight. They needed to be trained before they could perform their duties and be sent out for service.

All the proposed reforms took effect immediately, and within 10 days, their impact became evident. Rather than cursing the Uchiha for making arrests as civilians would typically do, they were now discussing why the Konoha Police Force had apprehended certain individuals.

In the office of the vice captain at the Konoha Police Force building, Karan sat working on some paperwork. Nakamura entered the office and bowed slightly, saying, "Master Karan, Chiyo has sent them as per your request."

"Hmm, did she mention anything else?" asked Karan, still focused on his papers.

"Yes, she expressed doubt about whether we would actually release the Kazekage," replied Nakamura.

"I am a man of my word. If I made a promise, I will certainly release the Kazekage," affirmed Karan.

"Master, everything is prepared. Are we going to take action tonight?" inquired Nakamura.

"Yes, inform everyone to proceed," ordered Uchiha Karan.

After receiving his orders from Uchiha Karan, Nakamura left the office.

As evening approached, Inoichi arrived at the Konoha Police Force. Without delay, he approached one of the Uchiha Clan ninjas and conveyed, "I need to speak with Uchiha Karan. I have important news to share."

The Uchiha ninja escorted Inoichi to Uchiha Karan's office. Looking up, Uchiha Karan greeted, "What a pleasant surprise. The Clan Head of the Yamanaka clan comes to meet me. Is there something important?"

"Yes, Uchiha Emiko came to me with a suspicious ninja whom she had apprehended to extract information from his mind," explained Inoichi.

"Yes, I do remember that. So, did you uncover anything?" asked Karan.

"Yes, the ninja is from Sunagakure. He's not alone; there are other ninjas as well who are residing within the Shimura Clan," disclosed Inoichi.

"Are you suggesting that Sunagakure ninjas are living within the Shimura Clan? It doesn't make sense for them to harbor these ninjas within their clan lands," remarked Uchiha Karan.

"From the memories of the captured ninja, I've learned that they hail from Sunagakure. Their objective is to rescue the Kazekage from the Uchiha Clan. The Shimura Clan is being heavily compensated for allowing them to reside in Konoha and infiltrate the Uchiha Clan compound," revealed Inoichi.

"Thank you for providing this information. Now, it's time for us Uchiha to take action," declared Uchiha Karan as he stood up.

"Aiko, come in," summoned Uchiha Karan.

"Master Karan, what are your orders?" inquired Aiko as she entered the office.

"Summon all the ninjas who fought alongside us on the battlefield," directed Karan.

"Yes, Master Karan." With that, Aiko left to carry out the orders.

"I should take my leave," said Inoichi, departing from the office.

At that moment, within the Shimura Clan compound, the Clan Head of the Shimura clan extended a welcoming gesture to a guest, Nara Shikaku, the Clan Head of the Nara Clan.

"Nara Shikaku, what brings you here?" inquired the Shimura Clan Head, exuding a sense of superiority, which stemmed from his relation as the nephew of Danzo.

"I've come with news and a warning," stated Nara Shikaku.

"A warning? About what?" questioned the Shimura Clan Head.

"Uchiha Karan has received information about you sheltering Sunagakure ninja within your clan compound. He's coming to apprehend all of you," conveyed Nara Shikaku.

"What!?" The Shimura Clan Head reacted with shock.

"But there are no Sunagakure ninja present within our clan compound," protested the Shimura Clan Head.

"You don't need to confess. I felt obligated to inform you of this news. Now it's up to you. My advice is to send a group of ninjas to Mr. Danzo. Otherwise, I need not explain what your fate will be if you fall into the hands of Uchiha Karan," after saying this, Nara Shikaku departed.

"Wait a moment," the Shimura Clan Head attempted to stop Shikaku, but Shikaku vanished using the Body Flicker technique.

"Damn it! How is this even possible as there are no Sunagakure ninjas present in my clan compound," The Shimura Clan Head struck the wall in frustration, pondering, "Shikaku is correct about one thing. I should immediately inform my uncle."

With this intention, the Shimura Clan Head dispatched a ninja team to inform Danzo.

A short distance away from the Shimura Clan compound, Nara Shikaku halted, and said, "I've done my part. The ninjas from the Shimura clan should be heading out by now. It's time for you to do your part."

"I am aware. You can go," responded a voice from behind.

Upon hearing the voice, Shikaku departed.

Merely a few minutes later, several ninjas from the Shimura clan followed suit, leaving their compound. However, before they could distance themselves significantly, they were precisely located and eliminated.

Meanwhile, Uchiha Karan, accompanied by Uchiha Clan ninjas, departed from the Konoha Police Force towards the Shimura Clan compound. This substantial movement did not go unnoticed by the Hokage and the Anbu ninjas.

Hiruzen utilized the 'Telescope Technique' to observe the situation and witnessed a significant number of Uchiha Clan ninjas in motion, led by Uchiha Karan himself.

"What is Uchiha Karan trying to do?" said Hiruzen while standing up.
