Chapter 10 : shadows awakened

As I grew, so did the whispers of my Uchiha heritage. The bustling life in our corner of the village unfolded, and soon, my father, Kenta Uchiha, was set to return from his mission. Weeks passed, and the anticipation mingled with worry etched on my mother's face.

One day, he came back, but his arm was missing. The devastation in my mother's eyes mirrored the toll the mission had taken. My father, resilient and wise, decided to retire from the life of a ninja. With the savings he had amassed, he opened a little fruit shop, providing for our humble home.

In these six years, I learned to talk, walk, and, perhaps most gloriously, take a shit on my own. Diapers became a thing of the past. Amidst these mundane victories, I realized my Uchiha lineage, and we lived secluded in the corner, detached from the rest of the village.

In the solitude, I practiced physical exercises to fortify my bodyand build up my chakra after all chakra is a mix of physical energy and spiritual energy and the latter can be increased through physical exercise.

One day, as I ran an errand for my mother, I crossed paths with a familiar figure - Obito Uchiha. He didn't seem much older than me, probably 1 year older this led me to believe that I'm in the era of the likes of kakashi and rin leading me to believe the 3rd ninja war hasn't started yet but in a couple years will.

Today, on my 6th birthday, my father bestowed upon me a gift - an E-rank ninjutsu. The Shadow Clone Jutsu, a beginner's technique at the academy. Little did he know, in my previous life, I was a dedicated Naruto fan, and the hand signs of this jutsu were etched in my memory.

*"Dad, watch this!"* I exclaimed, forming the familiar hand signs and conjuring a shadow clone. His surprise was evident, prompting him to grant me two more E-rank ninjutsu. Despite the genin-level chakra and lack of practice, my adult mind seemed to accelerate the learning process. To my parents I was a genius however deep down in my mind I knew I was nothing compared to the likes of Minato, shisui, kakashi and itachi
