chapter 33 Don't do that

         After I finished calling my mom, I went into the kitchen, I saw Alex gathering the things we are going to use, he look so good in chef clothes.

     " What are you doing standing there?" His voice draw me out of my trance " hmm nothing" I said trying to avoid eye contact with him. 

     " So what are we going to cook" I asked sweetly.

     " We are cooking something nice, how about grilled chicken and fried rice with salad, we can also make some juice" he said neutrally.

       While he was saying those words, I was already imagining myself eating the food and I didn't know when I licked my lips. Alex use his index finger to push my head " hey, what are you thinking? And why are you licking your lips like that?" He ask me huskily.

       I don't know why he sounded like that but I felt shivers went down my spine, and I nervously swallowed my spit down " am thinking about nothing, and can't I just lick my lips?" I said nervously.

      " Don't do that again" he said seriously.

      " Why can't I?" I said angrily and I lick my lips again. I saw him staring at him and I felt more nervous. He walk closer to me " why are you so stubborn huh?" He said more huskily.

       " Stop talking like that" I said almost fainting because of the close proximity.

      " Like what?" He said biting his lower lips ' Fuck' my mind screamed ' he is so hot' I thought, and i quickly walk to where the food stuff was " we should start doing that now, am kinda hungry" I said calmly ' what the hell is wrong with you anna?, he was close to you just now why did you ignore the signal?' I thought and I began to curse underneath my breath.

       " Okay fine, let get started" he said calmly.

       He took out the chicken and washed it, then he set it aside and he began to cut the veggies in small size, " isn't it too big?"  I asked curiously. " No it not, just watch, am using it because I want the chicken to have natural flavor" he said seriously without averting his gaze.

     While he was doing the cooking, I was doing the staring, it wasn't boring at all, I love to see Alex cook, he look more relaxed and innocent, I love the way he was sprinkling the salt and the seasoning, he look so professional, when he was chopping the veggies for the rice he was very fast" wow" I said being amazed.  If I could have the combination of Alex and this food  it will be mindblowing

        Finally the cooking was done and I was salivating. " Aren't you done? Am so hungry" I said grumbling.

     He just gave a glare to me " hope you have learnt something" he said crossing his arms on his chest.

     ' oh no' I was too engrossed in watching him that I didn't even concentrate on what he was doing but I nodded my head. I assisted him in setting the table.
