1 Chapter 1:

What reminds you of school the most? For me, the sound of school bells ringing were by far what I liked the most. As soon as it rings, it signified the end of class and that meant that I could go home.

"Ding... Ding... Ding..." Those were the three sounds we would hear in order to bring the school into an uproar. Students would be cheering and screaming in joy. Teachers would frown and say "Get back to your seat! Class's not over until I say so!" Students would have no choice but to obediently sit back down and listen to the old naggy teacher go on until sun down.

"So this is how you find the coordinates of intersection between two lines..." Mrs Lee would go on in a never ending way. All of us would yawn and nod off, only welcomed with her screams right in front of our face to stop sleeping. We would straighten up immediately with a groggy face, as we were awoken so abruptly.

What we truly wanted to hear was "...We'll end here today, class stand." As if trained like military soldiers, we would stand at attention with a lot of energy, getting ready to greet Mrs Lee. After greeting and saying our thanks, we left as if we were birds in the sky.

"Hey Jason, how's class today? For me, it was super tiring and I nodded off so many times and got screamed right in my face." I let out a chuckle as I said. Jason on the other hand seemed to be very solemn and tired out by today's classes. He didn't give me a reply as we continued walking to the school's nearest bus stop. We kept quiet throughout our journey and I felt something terribly off and decided to ask Jason about it.

"Hey, if anything is not right, you can tell me you know? I'm your best friend." I smiled as I tried talking him into telling me what happened. I've been friends with Jason for a really long time. It started off when we were just pre-school kids, going to the same pre-school.
