3 Aristocrats

In this world, the power of status plays a bigger role in the way that you are treated. For example, even if you are a commoner who serves an aristocrat, you are way above an ordinary commoner who had to rely on themselves.

Because of this, some commoners act like sycophants in front aristocrats to leave an impression so they can hire them in order to get better resources to aid them in cultivation— they were not wrong.

But despite the complexity of the inscriptions on this half-stone tablet, when the explorers got close enough to the tablet, at that moment, it started shining brightly showing iridescent light that was blinding— causing the explorers to cover their faces subconsciously.

Through this indescribable phenomenon each of the explorers received an information in their minds which first started as incomprehensible characters before restructuring itself into a profound method of gathering [Spirit Energy]— the energy of the world that is accumulated between the heaven and earth.

Those who practice this method can improve their bodies and shatter boulders with their fist and they can even increase their lifespans higher than ordinary mortals and live longer.

Thus came the birth of aristocrats, the ones who received this knowledge and decided to keep it for themselves and only improving their families until generations later when they already established their power before they started building institutions to get new talents that they can rope into their families as servants.

Throughout the course of history, there had been some commoners who practice the breathing method for gathering spirit energy since they evidently acquired the method from some careless young master who drop his family's legacy cultivation method— although that was only a low-level simplified version of the actual legacy, so the aristocrats did not make a fuss about it.

Whenever people, especially the commoners see people from their family they immediately try to make distance, so as to not step on the lion's tail and invoke its fury.

At this moment, a member from such a family as the Leng family is dining at the Heavenly Taste Restaurant causing shock among the people who suddenly heard the voice from the armor guard who was beside the young girl whom he was escorting.

Anyone with discerning eyes could tell that the young girl is probably a young miss from the Leng family who for some reason came to this restaurant to dine. Everyone gulped thinking about whether they will be implicated in this situation that is unfolding before their eyes.

"You dare to treat my young miss with such disrespect!?" The armored guard shouted at the waitress who was taking their orders. Apparently, the waiter offended his young miss.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to—" The waitress stuttered with a pale look on her face, thinking her life is over. However, before she could finish her sentence, she was interrupted by the armor guard.

"You dare talk back to me— you should know your place!" He said as he raises his hand about to slap the waitress before he was interrupted by a soft but firm voice next to him.

"Stop!"

Everyone there noticed that the voice belongs to the little girl next to the armored guard. Even Shenyan who was busy stuffing his face before noticing the commotion and was about to appease the situation heard the voice of the young girl and halted his step due to the pressure coming from the girl which seem to suppress anything in its way.

It was the Spirit Pressure of cultivators— that young girl who looks to be about the same age as Shenyan is a cultivator.

Due to the pressure exhibited by the young girl everyone was startled and started making discussions among themselves.

"What is going on?"

"T-That is a cultivator, that young girl is a cultivator."

"Shit, we're fucked."

"What is a cultivator doing at this place?"

"W-We have to get out of here, b-but I am afraid that I might attract their attention on me."

Everyone started panicking since they never expected a cultivator to appear here of all places.

"Why are you making a commotion?" The voice of the young girl resounded again which contain a hint of fury and annoyance.

"B-But young miss, that commoner, she—" Before the armored guard could finish speaking, the 'young miss' suddenly cut in.

"She what?" she asked.

"I-I… my apologies young miss." The armored guard was speechless momentarily before he suddenly apologized, afraid he will cause the young miss to be angry.

"I asked you what and you apologize instead?" The young girl sounded annoyed by her servant, and then she continued "She only asked me if I wanted to eat normal food or food with Spirit Beast meat— what is wrong about asking such a question? Hmph!" The young girl clearly sounded annoyed by the way the guard acted. She only came out today to enjoy herself, but her guard had to ruin everything.
