(Taehyung's POV)

When the elders and I had arrived at the pack house I looked out the window and saw members of the pack crouching on the ground groaning and holding onto their chests. The car came to a stop and I stepped out and the air felt heavy and although I didn't feel the power around me in the same way as the pack, it was unmistakable. It was a dark energy and I looked in the direction of the Alpha house and rushed toward it. I pushed the door open quickly and froze, because I realized that the reason the pack was in pain was because of Jungkook. I saw his figure towering over a man I assumed was the guard, and the man seemed terrified.

I had never seen this side of Jungkook before, he was always the more calm and composed one between the two of us. His wolf side had been growing since we bonded, but he had been able to keep most of it under control. Seeing him this angry made my heart hurt, not because I was afraid of him but because he was hurting. He and Jimin had become as close as brothers since we bonded, and I had not though about how Jimin being missing would hurt him so much. We were a family, the four of us, and he felt the loss of Jimin as much as I did and the pack. I called his name hoping to catch his attention, and when he turned to me his whole body became less tense.

I was his anchor, and the simple sound of my voice was enough to bring him back to himself. I had to let him know I wasn't afraid, and as soon as I was close to him it was like the air was light again. He dropped his head on my shoulder and I felt a smile form on my face, because no matter how big and bad this wolf was, he became so soft around me. After I could feel he had calmed down I turned my attention to the man who was tied up. I let go of Jungkook and took his place facing the man. I asked him many questions and he still decided to lie to me, and I could feel my own anger growing. He became cocky and over confident talking to me, not seeing me as a threat.

Even though I have always considered myself to be a kind and compassionate person, that had changed. Nothing was going to stop me from finding my friend, and that meant I had to become more than what I used to be. I knew it was time to show just what I could do, and I turned to Elder Hae-Seong. I don't know why I did, but I was still afraid to use my powers. He had helped me find my power again and had told me what I needed to do to control that power. With a nod from him, I felt confident enough and the words that came from mouth next felt like electricity in my chest.

"You see my mate isn't the only one with the power to make you talk."

The words felt like a threat and I hoped as much, because no matter what I had to do I was going to find out what this man knew. I closed my eyes and focused on the energy that flowed through me, it felt like warmth all around me. That is how it felt when I focused my mind on my powers, my whole body feels warm and I can feel this electricity everywhere. My eyes are closed and I feel my power take over and when I open my eyes and stare back at the man I could se his fear growing, but I don't stop. I focus on him and reach into his mind, and I feel the walls inside his mind break down at my feet.

I could sense his fear, but I didn't stop and I pushed harder until I felt him relax and open his mind completely under my power. I could not hear anything around me outside of where I was, and I asked my questions again.

"Did you see Park Jimin the day he went missing?" I ask firmly.

"Yes." He answers.

"What happened to him after he arrived at the Council building?" I asked.

"I don't know." The man answered.

He couldn't lie now with me inside his mind pushing him to reveal only the truth.

"What do you know about what the council is planning?" I knew it was not a specific enough question, but I just needed some clue, any clue.

"The council hired me two weeks ago to help with a special assignment. They told me and the other guards to watch over everyone who visited the council building and inform them if any visitors were fairies. We would inform them, and the fairies would not come back out. I don't know where they would go once inside, but they never came back out." He answered almost in a robotic toned voice.

"You never saw anything else? Maybe where the fairies went? You never overheard a conversation about what the council wanted them for?" I asked getting impatient.

"They did not tell us everything, but I overheard some of the council speaking about a place. The called it Eden, and that it was important to finish what they had started. They said their time was running out. That's all I ever heard." The man said.

I pushed a little harder but it was clear that he did not know much, and I decided to retreat from his mind before I pushed too far. I released my hold on his mind and calmed my own mind coming back to myself. I turned to the others disappointed. I had hoped to get more information than this, but at least we had a clue.

"So, it's not just Jimin that has been taken, there are others and if this has been going on for a few weeks now there are many more." Jungkook said.

"What do you think this place is? Eden?" I asked looking toward the elders.

I could see that seemed to recognize the name and were uneasy about it.

"What is it?" I asked standing and moving closer to them.

Jungkook turned as well when he noticed my attention on them.

"I recognize the name." Elder Hae-Seong said with a serious look on his face.

"It was an idea the council had back when it was made up of mostly fairies. This was things were very uneasy between the different communities, and they thought there was no way to find peace. They had thought of trying to preserve their kind and go into isolation. Separating completely from the rest of the world. They believed fairies to be superior creatures, because of our intelligence and less animalistic qualities." He said.

"What did they mean to accomplish by isolating themselves?" I asked him.

"They wanted to preserve our kind, but some of the other leaders had hoped to meet and discuss a peace treaty. They hoped the council could help them with discussions and find a way to bring peace but the council had already decided to start over." He said.

"Start over? What do you mean?" I asked him.

"The council at that time started to feel that fairies were superior to other creatures and wanted to cleans society and be rid it of the creatures that's seemed to only cause only conflict. Since they had had success with their new suppressant drugs on the Amaroks they had decided to go a step further and use the drug on all creatures. They would let each kind dye out slowly until only fairies remained. However, they were stopped by your grandfather. Those on the council were stripped of their title and removed from service. Your grandfather really believed that peace was possible, and he used all the connections he had to bring new life to the council. It seems though that some have discovered the old council's plans and are trying to make it happen." Elder Jun-Ha added.

Jungkook looked at me with concern. I already knew what he was thinking, he knew if Jimin had been taken that it could easily happen to me as well. I knew Jungkook was worried about me and would likely ask me to step aside and keep myself safe, but there was no way that was going to happen. Even though we had an idea what the council might be planning, we still needed a place to look.

"Do you know where the council had planned to take all the fairies back then?" I asked the Elders.

"That was undecided at the time, but if I had to guess it would be a good distance from here. It would need to be a large area to keep all the fairies there comfortably. We may find such a place in the council records. If they bought a property that big, there has to be a paper trail somewhere." Elder Jun-Ha said.

"I may be able to get into the records, but I doubt they would be kept in the Council building. That would be too accessible. It would be kept somewhere that no one would be able to come across even accidently." Jungkook said with a concentrated look on his face.

I thought about it as well. Where could the council hide this information without anyone finding it? At that moment I had an idea, but it hurt me to think it could be possible. Because if it was, then this whole situation would be more painful.

"I think I may know where it is." I said with a sad tone turning to Jungkook and the elders.

"Where?" Jungkook asked stepping forward sensing I how upset I was.

"You said they have been wiping my mother's memory for many years. They may have given her all the papers and pushed her memories of assisting them. She would be able to hide the papers and not even remember where or that she even has them. The perfect cover." I said disappointed.

Jungkook and the elders exchanged looks considering if my suggestion could be right.

"Then we should go back to your parent's house and see if we if your hunch is right." Jungkook said.

"What do we do with him?" I said turning to the guard who was still recovering from my mental manipulation.

"You will have erase his memories." Elder Hae-Seong said.

"I can't. My mom is the one who can manipulate memory not me." I said feeling doubt fill my thoughts.

"You have the ability to persuade someone, you can persuade him to forget everything that happened after he was stopped on the road. We can take him home to recover and he will think it was all a crazy dream." The elder said calmly.

"I can't. What if I hurt him? What if he ends up like my father? I can't." I said my voice shaking.

I was afraid, I knew that I was powerful but I was still inexperienced. I had only used my powers a few times and I struggled to control them. Memory removal was tricky and dangerous and I had hoped never to have to perform that kind of manipulation.

"I know your fears Taehyung, and they are valid. But remember what I told you. Focus on something, something that could pull you back to yourself if you feel your power slipping beyond your control. Find an anchor and hold on to it!" He said sternly.

I turned to Jungkook and smiled slightly; he was the one person in this world that made me feel most like myself. He was everything to me, and the one thing I would hold on to with my life. He saw me looking at him and smiled brightly at me reaching and taking my hand.

"I am right here Tae, I will always be right here. If you feel like you are losing yourself, then listen to my voice." Jungkook said squeezing my hand tight.

I nodded my head and found my place again in front of the guard. Once again, I closed my eyes and let my power fill my whole body and I reached back into his mind.

"You will forget everything that happened here. You were driving home and had an accident. You don't remember what happened because you blacked out." Taehyung said inside the guard's mind.

The guard repeated Taehyung's words out loud and then passed out completely. Jungkook opened the door and called for a few of the pack members to help move the guard. He explained to them that they needed to make their attack look like and accident. The pack members nodded and carried the man away. Yoongi soon returned.

"So what is the plan now?" He asks ready to go.

"We have to make a trip to Taehyung's old house, and see if we can find out where the council is taking all the fairies." Jungkook explained.

"I think that Hae-Seong and I should return to the council building and keep an eye on any of there movements." Elder Jun-Ha said.

I agreed and they turned and left. Yoongi, Jungkook and I stood exchanging exhausted glances at each other. These last few days had taken a lot out of us, and there didn't seem to be an end in sight. If we wanted to find Jimin, it would have to be soon. We didn't now how far along in their plan the council had reached, but things seemed to be moving quickly and we didn't have much time to rest.

"Jungkook and I will go to my parent's house and see what we can find. If we are able to find the location of Eden, we call you. So have the pack ready because we will need all the backup we can get." I said with a deep sigh.

We said our goodbyes to Yoongi and he handed Jungkook a small back pack.

"What's that for?" I asked.

"Well, since we don't have a car, I am going to have to shift. So, if I don't want to destroy my clothes its best to shift with nothing on." Jungkook answered.

My eyes grew wide and I laughed a little. I hadn't thought about that. He walked out of the room and I heard the sounds of his bones cracking and him groaning. He came around the corner barely able to fit through the doorway and made his way to the door. He started walking out and I just watched in awe, his wolf form was large, and this had only been the second time I had seen it. He turned to me and his wolf eyes looked like clear blue water and it felt like he could look deep into your soul. A chill ran down my arms as I looked back at him, he was stunning. He let out a low growl and waited, I stood frozen still.

"Climb on." He said using our mind link.

I was hesitant because I was unsure about climbing onto his back, but as I walked closer it was clearer to me just how big this wolf was. He toward over me and had to kneel for me to climb on.

"Hold on love." He said to me, and in an instant, he was running.

The sudden action made me fall forward onto his back, and I let out a startled grunt grabbing onto his fur tightly to steady myself. I was about to sit up again but as my head laid on his back I felt warm, and because of his speed the cool night air felt colder. So I wrapped my arms around the sides of his body and relaxed into his soft fur feeling all my anxiety melt away. He let out a cute almost purr when he felt me relax into him, and the sound brought a smile to my face. He seemed to enjoy us cuddling in this way, with him in wolf form. To tell the truth I was enjoying it too.

I easily grew sleepy and could no longer keep my eyes open, and I drifted off to sleep listening to the sound of Jungkook's steady breathes as he ran.

Not long later I felt a deep growl vibrate through Jungkook's body as he tried to softly wake me from my sleep, and I had to laugh a little at all the adorable sounds that he was making to get my attention. How could such a big wolf act so cute?

"Tae, we're here." He said through our link.

"Five more minutes!" I said back with a big grin.

"Why do I feel like you like cuddling me in wolf from more than human form?" Jungkook said with annoyed growl.

I just laughed with my face buried into his fur trying to muffle the sound.

"Are you jealous…of yourself?" I said with a teasing tone.

That only made Jungkook more annoyed and smaller growl left him before I reassured him that he is perfect in every form. That seemed to calm him down and he continued walking until we reached the gate that opened onto my parent's property. Jungkook knelt and let me climb down before walking behind a tree and shifting back into human form. When he returned his was dressed in a grey sweatshirt and sweatpants, my favorite look on him.

"Focus Tae." He said with a smirk.

My face turned slight pink form his comment and I turned my attention away from him, he still had the same effect on me as he did when I first realized I liked him. I still blushed looking at him, or if he said something especially cheesy. Anyway, I needed to focus on the task at hand and not at my extremely attractive mate. I walked up to the speaker that was stationed on the right side of the gate and pressed the intercom button.

"Hi Myung, it's Taehyung, can you open the front gate for me?" I said and waited for an answer.

"Of course, sir." Said the bodyguard on the other end.

The gate slowly opened and Jungkook and I began the long walk toward the big house. I was not sure if my mother would be awake yet, but as we had made our way here the early morning hours had begun, and the sun was beginning to rise. As we walked past the lines of trees, the sunlight would peek through. I hoped that we would be able to look around without waking or alerting my mother and father, I knew the bodyguards would not wake my parents unless there was a threat. My mother's office was also placed on a different area of the house and that meant we may have the chance to search it without her waking.

When we reached the house, the two bodyguards at the door opened the door for us and we were mt by Myung as we entered.

"Hello Mr. Kim, I am sorry but your mother is not here right now." He said.

That was not unusual for my mother, she would often fall asleep at her office in the council building if she had an especially long day.

"That's ok, I just needed to pick something up. I'll be quick!" I told him with an innocent smile.

He nodded his head and walked back to his seat in the corner of the room. He would sit behind a desk with several computer monitors on it and examine all the perimeter cameras throughout the day for any threats to our family. Jungkook and I made our way to my mother's office and looked around for a moment.

"Where should we look first?" Jungkook asked glancing around.

"I'm not sure." I replied.

"You might want to look in her safe." Said a voice behind us.

The voice was deep and familiar and the sound of it made me unable to move. I had not heard that voice since I was young and it almost terrified me. I saw Jungkook turn in the corner of my eye and he let out a small gasp, and I just closed my eyes tightly. I had to be imagining this, there was no way! I had to turn and face the man who spoke to be sure it was not a dream. I took a deep breathe and with my eyes still closed I turned and slowly opened them to see the face I knew. My eyes widened and I swallowed hard before a hushed sound left my mouth.

"Dad?" I asked with a shaky whisper.

"Son." He said with a strong confident tone.

"How?"
