Carmillia:"..."

"If you crave for me that much just tell me and I will willingly give you all of me. After all, I belong to you." He whispered and Carmillia stared him with a stunned expression, completely shocked.

"You are shameless."

"Only for you."

Carmillia pinched the skin between her brows and took a deep breath to calm herself. If things continued like this, she was sure that she will grow old before her time.

"What do you really want Theodore?" She finally asked.

"if I tell you what I want will you give it to me?." He questioned back.

After giving it some thought she agreed" If it can stop you from disturbing me then fine. What do you want?"

Closing the space between them he answered "All I want is you."

Lisa raced down the halls, silently praying that she could remember the way. She halted upon seeing two different passages and chose the first one on a whim. Luckily, she saw his room and lifted her hand to knock but decided against it. Opening the door as quietly as possible, she slipped in and held her breath, half expecting a raging Lucas destroying everything.

Immediately after entering, she sighted Lucas standing at the centre of the room without any movement and she had an uneasy feeling about it.

She didn't know why she came here but she felt like Lucas was hurt and he needed her. Slowly approaching him, she called his name softly" Lucas..."

"Get out." He said calmly and Lisa instantly paused, staring at his broad shoulders that looked tensed.

"What?" Her voice came out weaker than she expected and she forced the urge not to storm out and cry her eyes out.

"Don't you understand English anymore? I SAID, GET OUT" He spelt each word out and it hammered against her heart painfully.

"I'm not leaving."The words came out before she could think and she didn't regret it. She heard him curse under his breath before he turned to her and Lisa almost ran away to hide in a far corner of the world.

His blue eyes that once used to shine with different emotions was replaced by a hard cold stare that scared her to no end.

She didn't want to be scared but she couldn't help it and Lucas piqued that up easily.

'She was scared of him?.' With lightening speed he punched the wall beside her and she flinched.

"W-why?" She locked eyes with him, gazing intently at his cold expression. " Why are you acting like this Lucas, it doesn't make any sense!."

"Are you sure you want to know?." His voice threatened something that she couldn't identify and it almost broke her resolve but she stood strong.

"Yes."

"I hate that I'm here with you. I didn't choose to be what I am now but your fucking race forced me to be here!. Do you think it's fun to watch you all day and night Just to make sure that no harm befalls you!?.Of course not! everything that happened between us was me doing my job and nothing else. I will rather die than spend another minute with you!." He said irritated.

Lisa felt her whole mind stop functioning after hearing his last words. Her heart that was shattered to pieces was crushed more by everything he just said. Tears formed at the rim of her eyes and she bit her lips until it bled.

"What?." She whispered in disbelief and averted her gaze from him. She couldn't stand it anymore. The cold look, the attitude, everything he was doing to her was killing her from within. How could he do this?.

"I hate you." Her voice barely above a whisper and she looked back at him who maintained his cold look.

"I hate you! I hate you! I hate you Lucas!." She whimpered and gripped his shirt, forcing him to stare at her directly." You have broken me, why would you do that?. I want to try and believe that you are just lying but how!?. How can I ignore these words you just said to me!?."

He didn't say anything but continued to observe her reaction" It is better if you hate me, it will make my job easier." He said plainly and she chuckled dryly.

"It's all about the job huh?. Everything we have been through together was just a facade. Now I truly know what it means to suffer a heartbreak. What I felt when I found my ex cheating on me is nothing compared to what you just put me through."

Lucas pulled her hand from his shirt and dusted it like it was dirty by her touching it" I told you not to fall for me." He reminded and Lisa's whole world shattered instantly. This was not the Lucas she knew. The Lucas that joked, smiled and blushed was no more. How could he not know how painful each of his words are?.

"If you have nothing else to say I would prefer you leave. Immediately." He glanced at the door briefly and back at her that looked at him shattered.

"I wish I never met you. I wish you were never my guardian." Her voice broke as tears threatened to spill out of her eyes.

Lucas gritted his teeth and his hand flew to her neck, placing a little pressure on it and she stared at him wide eyed." Don't you ever say that." He warned.

"Just kill me! Isn't that what you want?. You can't stand another minute with me so kill me! I don't want to live anymore!." He lessened his grip around her neck and removed his hand. For a second his eyes flashed with guilt but he hid it by turning away and going to the door.

"Don't bother trying to kill yourself, it wouldn't matter to me if you were alive or dead." The door slammed behind him as he left and Lisa slid to the ground as the hot tears slid down her cheeks. Only now did she understand what he said before.

'Trust no one Lisa, not even me.'
