*BROKEN?*

She had just returned from the restaurant and Lisa couldn't shake the feeling of tremors that kept crawling in her skin. Any normal person would have reacted like that if they saw freiking demons!.

Never in her life would she have imagined that she would experience something like that.

'And Lucas...' heat seeped into her cheeks and her heart fluttered uncontrollably.

Hearing footsteps behind, she turned to see who it was and saw that it was Lucas and instantly took a sharp intake of air. He looked so different and why was he here?.

He was dressed in ripped black pants,a white undershirt with the first two buttons opened to show his toned chest, beautiful blue diamonds adorned on his jacket which was also black in colour and black leather gloves that were in contrast to his jet black midnight hair. His eyes look like they wanted to devour my very soul.

"What happened Lisa, saw something you like?"His beautiful voice snapping her out of her daze.

She stood from her bed and walked up to him with a challenging look."What happened Lucas, did a girl give you a free kiss on the road?."

He grinned at her and took a step towards her leaving just a little space between them."you are right, a cute girl did kiss me and she begged for something more, something so sinful it would never cross your mind"

Lisa had the sudden urge to slap him but mentally face palmed. She was not like this before. She was a quiet, easy going and peaceful girl. What changed?

"Do you remember what I said earlier?"He asked her lifting his hand to feel her long silky hair.

"what did you say?"she questioned back absent minded, relishing the touch of his hand on her head.

"I said.."he lifted his hand off her hair and went to seat comfortably on her bed.

"I said we were going to continue what we were doing."Noticing her still standing there he said"Are you going to stand there or do you need a royal invitation?"

"Now this is the Lucas I know" She whispered to herself.

"pardon?"He asked staring at her with a slight frown.

"Nothing I..I can't remember what we were doing"Lisa smiled mischievously wanting to see if he will crack.

"What were we doing if not sleeping with each other" After saying that, he shrugged his shoulders innocently.

'What the hell?'Lisa blinked, wondering if she heard him properly.

"Do you want to continue?"He said with a smile that could make grown men cry.

"No!"She immediately denied and he chuckled.

"If you say so".

Patting the side of the bed, he said"sit"

"huh?"

"Do you have cotton in your ears or do you like me repeating myself?"He sighed impatiently at the end.

"sorry master"she answered back in a sarcastic tone. Jumping on the bed, she faced him with a pouty lips.

Lucas couldn't believe the audacity of this little deer. If only she knew who he was. He glared at her and she returned it with the same intensity. After that, she stuck her pink tongue out and lay on the bed backing him.

There was an awkward silence that followed after.

"Lucas?"she called his name in a soft voice and changed her position so that she could get a better view of him.

"hmm?" He answered without opening his eyes.

"I just remembered when you said it was your job to protect me"

Finally he opened his eyes and Lisa couldn't look away, she was too captivated."I do remember saying that."

"But why... why is it your job?"Was he some kind of body guard?. She didn't get it, something was not adding up.

"Lisa, some things are better left hidden until the right time. Now stop asking questions and sleep."

"But I.."Lucas placed a finger on her lips and she felt her heart instantly do a flip.

"Hush now little deer and sleep"She still had many more things to say but She couldn't, She could feel her vision becoming hazy and hazy, this wasn't her doing!. She wanted to fight with it but whatever was wrong with me was definitely strong and She felt myself giving in to it.

"Good night Lisa"He whispered to her and blended into the darkness.

Lisa woke up with a gasp and immediately checked her side for Lucas but as she guessed, he was not there. He definitely had something to do with why she had fallen asleep yesterday out of her own accord. How dare him!. Pushing that thought aside she cracked her knuckles and grinned. Today, she was definitely going to find out if demons were real or not.

Going to the mirror,she internally cringed at the sight of her hair. it literally looked like a bird's nest. After freshing up, She dealt with her hair by tying it up into a messy bun and chose simple cloths to go with it. She went to the sitting room and noticed her brother's absence. He might still be mourning his girlfriend. Not letting that spoil my mood, She walked out of the house, whistling and smiling at the sun in view. Her plan to find out about demons was to check the library. They normally have old and ancient books so hers might be there. Getting to the library which was two stories in size She opened the door and the bell dinged, indicating customer's arrival.

At the counter an old woman who was of average height,grey hair and black eyes stared deeply into a book she was reading.

"Good day Mrs shawmen" She greeted her with a slight bow. She looked up from her book and gave me a warm smile."Lisa dear, welcome."

"I just need to check some books"she informed her while returning the smile.

"Of course go on. But remember something,we should always be careful about whom we keep near us,you never know what poison they might bring with them"After saying that she went to her book dismissing Lisa with a wave of her hand.

Lisa gave her a confused look but went on to find what she was looking for.

She checked the whole ground floor but did not find a single sane thing about them. It was either about them coming from hell or that they were fallen Angels.

Going to the next floor, she heard voices coming from behind a shelf and couldn't help but walked towards it. The closer she was to the shelf the more her heart dreaded the outcome. She had finally reached there and was sure she heard familiar voices. She walked over to the source of the noise and saw her ex boyfriend making out with another girl who was stark naked. But when the girl's face came in view,Lisa couldn't believe what her eyes were showing her.
