Cutting ties

Every one of them were astonished, they did not expect what she did. It took a while for them to recognized the things on the table because of shock.

Scattered around the table are the things inside her bag. 'lipstick, foundation, make-up, wallet and most of all a ring box.' That exactly looks like the ring box of WanXin, where she put her engagement ring.

A while later, noticing the engagement box, the guest began murmuring a little bit louder. "she really stole the ring."

"Such an arrogant lady."

"she really is a thief."

"a thief should be imprisoned" Few murmurs around that they can hear.

"See... brother Xian, I told you... Sis-Sister really did steal my ring. Sister is the only person who visited me inside my room and no one else. "You..."JiangXiao was angrily pointing at XiennaYan and was about to say more when he got cut-off.

"XiennaYan! You Thief! " Shihan said while furiously walking towards her. Grabbing the box on the table and opened it to let everyone see that the ring inside is the stolen ring.

Upon seeing the ring inside she said again "Xue call the police I would make sure that she will be in jail for what she did..." Then she suddenly cried as if feeling wronged to gain sympathy from everyone "why would you do this... WanXin is your sister... she's been good to you, we all have been good to you all this time... why do this... why ruin her engagement... why would you let our family experience this kind of humiliation." dramatizing everything.

"Been good to me? when? when were you good to me? How come I don't remember anything of what you said." XiennaYan rebutted with her calm and poised look. "go ahead call the cop because I'm 100% sure that is mine and not WanXin"

"You're still denying!" MinYue said. "Even if you try to act all high and mighty with your spoiled and arrogant attitude. With this proof we have, I will make sure you'll be in jail." Her grandmothers' words, were harshly condemning her.

"Yan..." Lin QueTan affectionately calls her granddaughter. He wanted to help her but was stopped by his wife, MingYue who is angrily looking at him.

XiennaYan reassuringly looked at her grandfather to keep him at ease. "I have proof, that the ring you claimed to be yours is mine, but you? do you have proof" XiennaYan pointed at the ring.

"What proof do I need that is exactly the ring brother Xian gave me. Brother Xian and some of the guests were able to see it before the party begins." WanXin looking at the ring on her mother's hand.

"Then if that ring is really yours how would you explain the initials of my name inside the ring? it even has my birth date. You can check it if you want to. You can even ask a guest to check it. As far as I remember you've invited one of the best jewelers in C city." XiennaYan informed and telling them to investigate the ring.

Shihan checks the inside part of the ring and got shocked at what she sees, there really is her initials inside. Bothered by her mothers' expression, WanXin gets the ring and look inside. Inside the ring were the initials X.Y 15.10.

"H-how come, how can your initials be here?" WanXin repeatedly looks into the ring to see if it was really been tampered. "You must have carved on it, you must have put your initials here."

"Hahaha... WanXin how can you think that I carved my own initials there? you really have such a great imagination, then tell me what did I used to carve my initials? I only have with me, are the things inside my bag, I don't have any sharp things that can carve or did you think that I used my nails? teeth? or could it be, you think I use my earrings?" XiennaYan mockingly response to the accusation of WanXin

Chatters can be heard loudly again, unsure who to believe.

I would love to oblige to you all because I do have proof of everything." while turning on the recording of them accusing her.

"Remember this, I only acknowledge one person in this family and that is grandpa. I can sue you all but for grandpa's sake, I will drop this one. Never contact me again, never get in my way, next time I will not be friendly as I am right now." XiennaYan said, warning everyone before leaving.

Getting in the car that has been waiting for her.

"Straight to the airport"

So that you can focus there once you finish you can come back anytime." Turning on the ignition to taking off the place.

As the sun continues to set and the night light starts to rise a black car is silently moving around the city. Inside the car is an elegant and stoic lady. Reminiscing the memories and capture every scenery she can treasure before leaving.
