XuTao was rushed into the operations room, while XiennaYan and MuChen were waiting outside the operating room.

MuChen contacted members of the Yang Family, as XuTao has been legally adopted in the family ever since he was 5 years old.

XuTao parents have been good friends of MuChen parents and a was like a child of the elder Yang couple. When a car accident killed both XuTao's parents, his other relatives didn't care about him, that was why MuChen parents adopted XuTao and treat him equally like their own children.

WeiLan was the first one to arrive at the hospital, behind her were MuChen parents and his eldest sister MingYun and her husband.

They were so worried and was wondering what had happened, why XuTao got shot.

"What happened?, how did he got shot?" - WeiLan asked.

"Tao, was waiting for me in the parking space at the company, when I arrived I notice a silhouette of a man, looking at us, I thought it was just an employee but then I felt that the man was intensely looking at my way, so I looked back and there I saw him, pointing a gun and fired it immediately without giving me time to shout or warn Tao, I thought it would hit me at first, and when I realize something was off the man was nowhere to be seen and I saw Tao lying on the ground full of blood." - XiennaYan explained to all of them.

But in her mind, XiennaYan already had an idea who the person might be. There could be no one else except that mysterious man who contacted her two days ago.

"It's a good thing, that you were not hurt. Let's make sure that this won't happen again, and further tight up the security of the building." - LouTian said. they all agreed.

Agreeing with what his father said, MuChen contacted his confidant to help him track the man in the parking lot, and who was supposed to be the target. Aside from that, he also contacts military personnel to help him track the same man and also to help him secure the building security.

After doing all that, he went back beside XiennaYa and just waited silently until the operation would finish.

After 13 hours

The door of the operation room finally opened.

Three operation assistants came out, followed by the main surgeon.

The surgeon and the assistants were drenched in sweat. Their operation gown clung onto their sticky skin. When the surgeon took off his mask he had an unpleasant expression on his face, before asking.

"Who is the relative of Mr. Han?" - the surgeon asked.

"We all are." - MingYun replied.

"How did the operation go? how is he?" - LiFie asked worriedly.

"I'm sorry. We've tried our best. Although the operation was successful, the patient received too much damage, and lost a lot of blood, he can't wake up for now. He is unable to breathe on his own and his brain stem reaction and brain waves is really low that it almost can't be detected…" - he explained carefully.

When they heard the doctor's answer, everyone stood there stunned and froze for a long time.

"But, there is still a chance of him waking up, right? as long as Tao brain stem reaction and brain waves will be a bit higher than it is now and continued care and medication?" - XiennaYan asked after hearing what the doctor said.

"Is there really? what should we do to make it a bit more higher? who should we contact?" - WeiLan asked.

All of them were waiting for the doctor response, and have a high hope that XuTao can still be save.
