Chapter 11:

"This can't be right" Nick said to Eric as they walked down the ground road "We are not in France that's certain" Eric said as Nick looked at Nora, who was still out cold "I mean our powers, I can't feel her" Nick anxiously looked at Eric.

"Okay let me try" Eric began focus on his energy like he usually did and opened his eyes, still human "What the" Eric thought as he looked at his left arm were he had no mark "where is my mark?" Nick confused he passed Nora to Eric and opened up his shirt "mine's also gone" Nick looked at his torso and showed Eric where it had been.

"We can't shift and we don't have our marks then doesn't that clarify that our powers are gone" Nick shrugged and took Nora back into his arms. "If we can't heal her, we might as well take her to a doctor" Eric said as he pushed Nora's hair back "I agree but where are we going to find a doctor in this place" Nick said as Eric pointed to a castle "There"

Nora had woken up from her meeting with Selene "Gosh I feel weak" she sat upright of the bed and carefully looked at her surroundings "Where am I?" the last thing she remembers was talking to Selene about loving and dying for these two dragons. Suddenly a young woman entered the room with food in the tray.

"So you are awake" the woman's eyes peered out through a wild tangle of hair like those of a cornered animal. Defiant and intense, but skittering around looking for escape at the same time. Fight or flight. Down one cheek was a long scar, from just below the eye to her upper lip. Her voice is a soft but chilly at the same.

"Juice?" The woman smiled "Umm I'm thankful for the hospitality but where am I?" Nora asked "Sorry love, right now as we speak you are under the care of Cole MacQuoid" Nora froze at what she heard "My lord,are you okay child?" The woman worried "I'm fine but I think more rest is needed" Nora smiled and the woman chuckled "Dear you have been out for a week's call, Why sleep some more"

"Names Sarah and you are?" Nora slowly looked at the food and licked her lips "Nora" she looked up at Sarah who looked like Eric and then thought about the two dragons " have you perhaps seen my friends?" She asked Sarah "They are out in the fields working they will come at sunset, I hope you are okay with me leaving?" Sarah said and Nora nodded. "I'll be back soon but until then have the food" and she left as Nora thought about Nick and Eric "Why did you guys leave me alone" she whispered under her shaky breath and took a bite of the food laid out for her.
