Confusion

"They are siblings and don't ask me how because I don't know", I saw his eyes widening and confusion kicking in.

Jay's pov :

How are they siblings ? that doesn't make much sense to me, why is he not living with the rest of his family then? why is he alone and all he has is himself and couple of friends ?

There was so many questions inside my head but I can't really figure anything out now.

There has to be some family issues involved otherwise it won't be possible at all, I was lost on my thoughts when I saw Jacob looking at my direction in concern .

"Are you okay ?", he asked in his usual soft tone. "Yeah I'm fine it's just the match you know I'm a bit dizzy ", I tried to not make it too obvious and he seemed to believe me because he nodded his head and we started to get away from the crowd, all of us.

Later on we went to a nearby restaurant to eat, it was on Aidan so why not? while we were sitting Jacob and Sissel didn't talk much they seemed to be awkward around each other, I'm dying to know their story.

"So how do you know each other?", Jacob asked out of the blue and I told him that they're our neighbours and that Sissel and Aidan study at the same class, now the weird part is that he is her BROTHER so how does he not know that.

Aidan's pov :

I swear to god Jacob's question caught me off guard, he came to our house so he definitely knows that they're our neighbours, yet he's acting like he has no clue.

I looked at Jay just to make sure that we're thinking the same thing, and by the confusion on his face I was sure that he's feeling me.

And just when I thought that it can't get worse it did, when Jacob asked Sissel about her major what kind of siblings are they for god sake.

The funny part is that she was replying to his question in a very casual way and now I just can't take it anymore, I need to know.

"Guys might I ask how are you siblings? sorry I'm confused for real", I said it all so fast so no one can interrupt me.

Jacob's pov :

I knew that a question from that kind is going to be asked, but I don't really know how to answer it.

"We just don't live at the same house, because he wanted some independence", I heard Sissel saying, and for some reason I didn't like the answer she gave, even though that's the safest thing to say.

"Yeah and to escape a bad environment that I wasn't comfortable at", I added and I can see that Jay got it somehow.
