Break Up.

Today was Shen Yi first shoot as the female protagonist of the movie 'Lies'. To her, today wasn't just any other day, it was the beginning of her new life. When she was in the Shen family, her mother allowed her to go to act school so she was good with acting. If only Li Lingyun and his daughter didn't come into her life then she would have been a very famous actress by now and may even be married to Mu Chen.

Speaking of Mu Chen, Shen Yi wondered where he was, she couldn't find him anywhere, and then she saw him with Meng Ziyi. Seeing him with Meng Ziyi made her to remember what He Jia told her, that it was Meng Ziyi who tried to poison her and seeing the way the young girl was fawning over Mu Chen she could guess that it was true. After all, Zhou Xi was a nobody, so even if Meng Ziyi was to end her life right now, the Meng family will cover up her track. When she was Shen Yi, she never had a real contact with the Meng family, so everything she knew about them was what she heard from people and sometimes at the family dinner.

"Look at her. She doesn't even look like someone who regret what she has done. She is so shameless." He Jia said when she saw Meng Ziyi and Mu Chen laughing together.

At that moment, the director called He Jia. He Jia looked at Zhou Xi and said "I will be right back. Try your best to stay away from that evil witch." She left after Shen Yi nodded her head.

As for Shen Yi, her only thought was to create a chance encounter for She and Mu Chen to meet. She knew he was popular but seeing him with another girl, somehow made her heart to hurt, but she knows that, Mu Chen only loved her and no one else. She just have to win his heart again with this body.

Shen Yi focus went to He Jia when she saw her coming her way with a frown on her face. So she asked"What happened? What did the director tell you?"

"He said, he can no longer give you the role as the female protagonist."

"According to him, the Meng family invested a lot in this movie and they threatened to pull out their investment if they don't make Meng Ziyi the female protagonist."

Shen Yi scoffed. What else did she expect from a family that Li Lingyun came from.

Meng family was a prominent family who have been rumor to be among those who founded country D. They have been a presidential family until Meng Fei who was to become the next president died suddenly. At that time Meng Zhu was still young, so they appointed the Su family to take over until Meng Zhu comes of age to run as president.

Shen Yi hated both the Li and the Meng Family. To her they were people who oppressed others because of their wealth.

She looked at He Jia and asked "What would happen if I refuse to give up my position as the female protagonist. I was chosen because I was qualified for it. I can't let Meng Ziyi take that away."

He Jia was surprised. Normally Zhou Xi would have accepted it. She knew she didn't come from a rich background so there was no need fighting with the rich but now, she wants to fight? He Jia sigh and thought to herself, perhaps this is what happens when a person have faced too much injustice, after all this is not the first time they have taken her role away from her. "To be honest with you Zhou Xi, there is nothing we can do. The Meng Family are a big sponsor of the movie, so I understand why they can't go against them."

"You are wrong, we have to show them that we are not push over." Shen Yi said and walked to where Meng Ziyi was. Yes this way she would get to show Mu Chen who Meng Ziyi is.

Meng Ziyi who was talking and laughing with the guy she had a crush on, frown when she heard a familiar voice saying "Just because you are rich, doesn't mean you can oppressed others with your family money."

Meng Ziyi first looked at Mu Chen and she saw that he was displeased. Mu Chen came from a humble background so the thought of the rich using their money to oppressed others might be the reason he was frowning. That was Meng Ziyi thought and it made her to look at the small time actress in anger as she asked "How dare you try to slander me. I don't even know what you are talking about" of course she knew what the girl was talking about. She had to beg her brother to become the highest investor in this movie so that she can win the place of female protagonist. How can she allow a nobody to act together with her Mu Chen.

"Was poisoning me not enough, don't you feel any guilt about the fact that you almost took my life or does the rich not care about human lives."

"Hold on." Mu Chen said and look at Meng Ziyi as he asked "You almost killed her."

"No. Don't believe anything this girl says to you. She is just jealous of me."

"I refuse to take this lightly. If you mess with me again or try that stupid stunt of drugging me then I will definitely report you to the police and you may not be harm, but your brother reputation will definitely be damaged. Let's see if anyone will agree to have a president who is incapable of handling his crazy sister."

The thought of her brother being implicated made Meng Ziyi to control herself and glare at Zhou Xi with hatred. If any of her brothers or worst of all her cousin find out what she has done then they would definitely punish her.

Just then, one of the staff came to meet them. He felt the atmosphere of the place was stuffy and he wondered if they were fighting before he came. He looked at Mu Chen and said "Someone is here to see you."

Mu Chen knew in his heart the person that has come to see him, he looked at the staff and asked "Where is she?"

"She is in your waiting room."

Mu Chen walked away from Meng Ziyi and the new actress he has seen for the first time today. He hated women drama the most. He really didn't mind if they fight, as long they don't involve him.

He went to his waiting room and saw her. The woman who have become the stepping stone in his career. He knew she loved him but as for him, he loved her money. The only reason he could become the male protagonist of this movie was because she invested in it and made them to choose him. It would be nice to have a taste of her if her husband wasn't so terrifying. He kept all his vicious thoughts to himself as Shen Yi turned to him. He smiled at her and said "I wasn't expecting you today."

Lin Yan looked at the man Shen Yi have been having an affair with and wondered what Shen Yi saw in him. He is no where handsome as Li Lingyun, with just a look, Lin Yan could tell he was a gold digger but why couldn't Shen Yi see it. Love is really blind. She sighed and said "Mu Chen, Let's break up."
