The list of people he could call his own was thin. The one's he had in the world was worth all the protection he had to offer. Noam is on top of the list and at the bottom of it.

As far as Azlan was concerned, Noam was the only one worthy of making the list. Anyone else he kept beside him was simply there because he needed them for something. Such people were disposed of off immediately once they outlived their usefulness.

The golden orb exploded. Its light traveled outwards of the bubble to the whole city. Knocking Azlan unconscious a few feet away from where he stood.

A blackout took from all over the city.

While the city was asleep, a silhouette appeared behind Noam. His face was masked under the blue light of the bubble.

"Let me free you from your curse," he whispered to Noam. There was one curse, in particular, he was interested in. The curse that keeps one in their child form.
