"How could you kill them?" Nathaniel inquired.

The curse destroyed the city and killed thousands of innocents who weren't involved in their affairs. The demon was coming to terms with the fact that Omar cursed the city to begin with.

For months, he had played out every scenario that could have compelled the male to go to such lengths, yet nothing came to mind. No reason strong enough to justify the choice and decision that Omar made.

His heart wanted to believe that Omar was one of the good guys. That the curse was a mistake, his mind on the other hand couldn't find a reasonable explanation behind the male's actions.

"Kill who?" Omar called into question. Puzzled by what the male was asking him.

Nathaniel was of the opinion that Omar and Azlan were the same person. So he blamed Omar for Azlan's actions and saw him in the light of the devil's deeds.
