1 COLD GODDESS

In a dark and cold room on a certain winter night, "Ahh...!! help me, please help me...!" came cries from the room as shackles of chains were heard.

Walking through the dark hall Scarlet, came to a stop when she heard the cry. As an assassin, her mission was to retrieve stolen objects and kill criminals who are unfortunately on her mission list.

On reaching the door of the room, she stepped back slowly and on the count of three, she smashed the door open with her leg. stepping into the room empty-handed as she walked casually through the broken pieces of wood.

"Halt right there" came a voice from the end of the room "what a pleasant surprise to see miss Scarlet herself, in the flesh", said the voice.

Turning her head she came face to face with an old and ugly-looking man "haha...! looks like it's your day to leave the world" Scarlet answered back as she stood looking in his direction.

"If you all drop your weapons and leave I might spare your lives" continued Scarlet as she waited for 10 seconds, without any movement from the opposite side. she let out a soft chuckle as she immediately give a flying kick towards her left.

Being kicked unexpectedly the guard on the left dropped his gun before he could pick it up, his face was smashed to the ground by a stomp on his head leaving blood trails on the ground as he stopped moving.

Two minutes later, Scarlet threw the last corpses as she walked toward Mr. Stone, "haha..! you know the best part of kill people like you?" asked Jasmine as she stopped right in front of him with a cold face.

"You shameless hypocrite, you think a mere thing like you can pose a threat to me," asked Scarlet as she twisted his hand behind his back, before pushing him to the ground and stepping on his head making him cry out in pain.

Leaving the half-dead man on the cold floor bleeding, Scarlet turned walking towards the girl who was chained to the right side of the room. Stopping in front of her, she asked "what is your name and how did you get here."

"Please release me first and I promise to tell you the truth, the whole truth," said the young girl "what if you lie" asked Scarlet to the girl. "you have a gun in your hand and you are good in martial arts, what do I have" replied the girl.

Walking towards her slowly, Scarlet clenched the chain in her hand before breaking it in one strong pull Crack...! sounds of chains were heard as the broken parts fell on the ground, making a loud noise.

Pointing a gun at her head, "now speak," said Scarlet as she looked at the girl with narrow eyes feeling a sense of danger.

"Miss Scarlet my name is June" said the young girl,

"And?" asked Scarlet

"And it's June Lucas to you" replied the girl as she suddenly threw a smoke powder in the room while ceasing her breath as she ran past Scarlet pushing her to the ground.

Falling to the ground due to the unexpected attack, and the smoke making her cough. Scarlet flee from the room feeling choked and suffocated.

After leaving the room a few minutes later, she felt a little better after inhaling the fresh air. walking towards an abandoned dark alley as if nothing happened.

On reaching her destination and feeling natural with nothing abnormal, she knocked twice before pushing the door open and stepping inside the house. Then turn on the lights "home sweet home, finally back now time to relax" thought Scarlet as she let herself fall on the couch with the remote in hand and switched on the television before falling asleep fell hours later.
