Evangel's appearance caused Chess a light shock. He couldn't help but subtly raise his brow as a sign of shock. Evangel, who was looking at him, grinned because of that. The look on his face showed satisfaction upon noticing the change in Chess's expression.

Though, it was just for a split moment.

The second later, Chess was back to the smiling innocent angel that everyone says he is.

"Can I help you with anything?" Chess politely asked, disregarding Evangel's teasing question.

But behind his smile and polite greeting, Chess is keenly observing him. He's looking at his face, his neck, his uniform, his arm and everything about him. Evangel noticed all this, but he just kept his mouth shut while grinning widely.

"Nothing. I was just curious about your… friends?"

Chess's eyelid twitched after hearing that question.
