17 Like a dream
Ning Quio woke up and looked around her, she was in her apartment. Wait! How did she get here? Last night she had dinner with Lu Laoyang and had drunk too much!She checked the time and it was 8 am.
Actually the reason she had drunk so much was his fault! She wanted to accept him but she was scared that he would leave her.
After all he's a rich person, he might forget her anytime. She rushed to the bathroom and took a bath before feeling refreshed. Since she was home alone she decided to wear something short since she felt easy in them. She wore a large men's T-shirt with shorts revealing her white smooth skin. Soon there was a knock on the door. Who could disturb her so early in the morning. She walked to the door and opened it,she stood still like a statue.
When Lu Laoyang saw her,he was dumbstruck, how could this girl wear so little? She could easily arouse any man and if that person could not control himself then...he didn't dare think about the consequences.
Lu Laoyang felt uneasy because it seemed like she was seducing him.
"Boss please come in",Ning Quio welcomed him warmly though she was fighting inside her.
"Boss how may I help you?" Ning Quio asked after he was seated in the sofa.
"I wanted you to help me choose some dresses for dinner also there'll be a dinner tonight and it requires a female partner, can you escort me?"
"You can ask another female friend"
"I don't have any "
What was the meaning of this? they didn't know each other for a long time but he already trusted her? She swallowed with difficulty before finally agreeing since he looked so pitiful, " I..I'll go..with you", she agreed halfheartedly.
"Let's go choose some nice dress for you"
They arrived at an expensive mall and Lu Laoyang gave his black card to the receptionist, immediately a lot of assistants were already behind them ready to serve them.
"Mr.and Mrs.Lu what may I get for you?"
Ning Quio felt wronged with the name she heard,she wasn't married yet,did they see any ring on her finger? What showed that they were a couple? This people were surely blind!
"Get her the most expensive gown in the mall", Lu Laoyang ordered.
Ning Quio was shocked, the most expensive? this man used money like he was mad.
She calmed herself because after all it wasn't her money. The assistants soon brough Chanel latest gown,a long white gown embroidered with jewels making it look so dazzling. Ning Quio felt the dress was too good for her. Lu Laoyang bought the beautiful dress after she tried it on and drove her to his home, this was the first time he was bringing her to his home.
His house was at platinum flower garden.
His house was no.1,actually he owned the whole villa but only used villa no.1. It was a prestigious district in Beijing surrounded by lots of flowers. After a rain earlier, the flowers were booming and emitted a mixture of flower aroma and rain.
The car soon stopped at a huge mansion, Ning Quio jaw dropped. This shouldn't be called a house, it should be? she didn't even know what to call it,it was way bigger than a palace. Lu Laoyang looked at her and smiled
" Surprised?"
"Huh? no..no" She replied in haste
They alighted from the car and he lead her in.
The garden in the spacious front was colourful and so beautiful. It seemed to be made to attract people attention. As she walked further, she continued to admire the house or whatever it was called. How could such a lonely person live in such a huge mansion? When she got closer, she noticed the exquisite blue marble steps to the front door,she could see everything clearly now from the walls to the windows to the door. Everything seemed to be a work of art. When she entered she was awed.
