26 He finally found her

Lu Laoyang returned home to check his last hope though he knew she wouldn't be there.

He opened the door and there she was on the floor with her body as white as snow.

Lu Laoyang rushed to her and covered her with his coat and carried her out. He sent her to her room and immediately called the doctor. The doctor soon arrived and checked her.

"Mr Lu your wife seems to be in a critical condition, I suggest you take her to the hospital immediately"

Lu Laoyang didn't wait for the doctor to complete his sentence and carried her out to his car.

He sent her to the First Class republic hospital. A cart was already outside and she was carried in immediately.

She was sent to the emergency ward, Lu Laoyang paced about waiting for the doctor to arrive.

Soon the doctor came out with Ning Quio being sent to a normal ward.

"Doctor, how is my wife?"

"She was in a critical condition but she is now okay she would wake up two days later"

"Can I see her?"

"Yes "

Lu Laoyang walked to her bed, sat by her and held her soft hands onto his cheeks.

"Ning Quio am sorry, I just realised that since you came into my life, I've always put you in danger"

The person was lying on the bed looked so pale, there was an IV inserted into her.

The doctor said she would wake up two days later.

"Lu...."

Lu Laoyang saw the girl beside him struggling to open her eyes when she called out his name.

"Shhhhhh you're weak"

"Lu... Laoyang you sa...ved me again"

"I'll always be there for you"

"Hmmm I know" she smiled weakly.

"Do you need anything?"

"Yes I'm thirsty"

Lu Laoyang immediately poured her a glass of water. He helped her drink it.

The door suddenly burst open, it was Lu Laotang. "Sister in law I was so worried about you"

Ning Quio didn't mind being called that since she would soon be.
