What's Happening?

A/N: Hello guys, as promised, the novel has began today. This is the first chapter of this novel, but a side story in the HTIM.

For those that have never read Hundred Times Income Multiplier System and The Soul System in the Apocalypse, you don't have to worry much. Despite the characters being from those novels, what they'll do in this novel is not much related to their past, other than the systems of course.

The systems will have an introduction of their own in this novel. So, be free. You can read all the novels if you wish, the decision is yours.

Jack felt his surroundings being enshrouded by endless darkness. He had not expected that something like this was going to happen.

Previously, he had been together with his mother, and his girlfriend Celine. But all of a sudden, he was suddenly swallowed by a black hole that appeared out of nowhere. He himself had wanted to react, but he realized that he was definitely not as fast as the speed of the black hole that swallowed him.

As for the matter of resisting, despite the strength that he possessed at that time, he was not capable of resisting the strength of the black hole that sucked him in. Left with no choice, he could only try to resist in case there was an enemy that was attacking him.

But it was at this moment that he suddenly realized that he was actually not being attacked by an enemy directly, rather, he was pulled into something like a domain. Inside here, everything was completely dark.

He could feel that he was not dropping towards the ground, and neither was he stepping on the ground. It was like he was currently floating in the air. The most strange thing was the fact that he could actually move despite the fact that he was not stepping on any ground.

He managed to move aimlessly within the darkness, trying to understand where he was. According to his understanding of the black hole, he was definitely supposed to be destroyed the moment that he entered here. But instead, he was here, alive.

Additionally, he could feel that his body was in the same condition as it was in before, and nothing had changed at all. This was something that puzzled Jack. He was wondering what was going on. Could it be that an enemy had thought that he was not strong enough to be able to defeat him, and for that reason, they had decided to trap him here?

Thinking like that, Jack could not help but get anxious. If there was something that he would never allow, that was to have any person that he cared about to be harmed. But the problem was the fact that there was nothing that he could do within this darkness.

He had already tried using his full strength in order to get out of this area, but no matter how much he tried, he could not succeed. That was something that was completely frustrating. Especially due to the fact that he did not know where he was, and who it was that had brought him here.

He continued staying inside the darkness, not knowing how long it had been. But at some point in time, there was a faint light that suddenly appeared. He could see that it was a very long distance away.

Without hesitation, he immediately began moving towards the light. Although he could feel that he was approaching the light, he realized that despite moving at his full speed, the speed at which he was approaching that light was extremely slow.

If his calculations were right, he was sure that he would be able to arrive in the area where the light was in more than an entire week. That was too long. But then, thinking about it, he had not eaten ever since he entered into this space, but he did not feel hungry at all. And neither did he feel fatigued, despite the fact that he had been moving around all this while.

Deciding not to think much about it, focusing on getting out of this place so that he could get back to Celine and his mother, Jack continued rushing forward. Then all of a sudden, he suddenly realized that the white light that he had seen from a distance was suddenly approaching him at an incredible speed.

For a moment, he stopped. He was not sure about what was going on, but he believed that perhaps this white light was related to the reason as to why he had been brought here. He prepared himself to fight, not caring if he was strong enough to be able to deal with the enemy or not.

Just as he was hesitating on what to do next, the light had already arrived above him. At this moment, he realized that there was an entity within the light. It was a humanoid figure, but he could not tell the gender of the figure that had appeared.

The figure did not possess facial features. But even then, the moment that the figure arrived, it looked at him.

The moment that this entity that was surrounded by a white light arrived, the surrounding areas around Jack were immediately illuminated. But even then, he realized that despite the light, he could actually not see anything within the area that he was in.

He could see a small distance away from him, but even then the place was completely empty, as if they were standing in the void. Even the light that was being given out by this figure was being swallowed by the darkness around them.

"I know that you are curious about the reason why you are here. But you don't have to be worried much about it, because you will know about it sooner." The entity spoke in a cold and emotionless voice.

"I don't really want to know the reason why I am here, and neither do I want to know why I should be here. What I want to know is how to get the hell out of here. I want to go back to my own world, there are people waiting for me." Jack stated in a determined voice as he looked at the entity above him.

There was a moment of silence before the entity spoke once again. And as it spoke, Jack could not see any movements on the face, as if the voice was coming out of nowhere.

"You have to understand the current situation that you are in. It might be true that you were quite strong within your world, but that is definitely not enough to be able to save you from this place. Once you are here, it is impossible for you to get out, unless you complete the task that will be given to you." The entity stated with the same indifferent voice.

Jack could not help but frown after hearing that. What was the meaning of this? He could not get out of here? He did not believe it. But of course, he did not try fighting his way out, considering that after moving around for all this while, he could not find a way out. It was clear that he could only be allowed out of here, but he could not get out of here on his own will.

"The task that you will be given will be quite simple depending on how you will take it. But don't worry, there is somebody else that will accompany you in that mission. When the two of you will complete the mission, you will be taken back to your own world." The entity spoke once again.

Jack was just about to ask about something when the entity continued. "You don't have to be worried about the matter of time. Currently, the time in your own world has been stopped, and no matter how long you spend in the world that you will be sent into, you will go back to the same time that you had left."

"But of course, you will only go back if you complete the mission. And if you fail, only death awaits you." The entity stated, before waving his hand.

The moment that this entity waved his hand, Jack suddenly felt that he was being elevated into the air. At the same time, he felt like there was something that was wrapped around him.

While he was wondering what was going on, he suddenly felt his consciousness going fuzzy. Although he wanted to resist, he realized that he could not.

And in just a short moment, he felt his world going blank, before he passed out. And outside, within the dark space, the entity looked at Jack who was enveloped by a white light, before he disappeared and finally, sigh.

"I do hope that you succeed. Otherwise, things are definitely going to get difficult for this universe of ours. The two of you are our hope. But even then, there are others, six of them, but I don't really know if they can succeed or not. If both of you succeed, it is definitely going to be for the best for our universe." The entity spoke in a melancholic voice.

Then in the next moment, he simply vanished into a thin air. The surrounding area that was illuminated by his presence was immediately swallowed by the darkness, making the area fall into darkness once again. But of course, not long later, another person who was brought into this place.

Jack on the other hand did not know how long he had been unconscious, but the moment that he regained his consciousness, he heard the voices of people speaking.

"It is a baby boy! Congratulations!"

"Wow! It is not just one of them, but instead, they are actually twins!"

"Just look at how cute they are. They were born not long ago, but they definitely possess quite an appearance!"

"Well then, I do believe that it is going to be quite easy for them to be the stars in the music industry. Just look at how cute they look right now. I do believe that when they grow up, they will definitely be handsome models."

"Forget about that for now. It depends on what they would want to be when they grow up. But let's hope that they would definitely be involved with the family matters. That way, the family will definitely be able to boost them to the top."

"You don't have to be worried about what they will do. The family will definitely support them. After all, who are they? They are the princes of our family!"
